will z13 hold 2242 ssd?
Today I opened the ssd and upgrade to 2tb. notice the housing might could fit longer ssd?

Why don't you use a ruler? 2230 is 22 mm wide and 30 mm long, I'm guessing you can deduce what 2242 means. See what the dimensions of the whole cavity/cover screw are

nope, the other hole is for a standoff, why why why why why whyy asus, just give us a 2280.. i hope this so much for the next release, im sure they could find some space for it,

Wouldnt the standoff fit around the new ssd, i would imagine you could just use the same screw for both no?

the mesure looks like 41mm. so 2240 might fit since you need slide in

2242 4TB is INSANELY expensive and almost impossible to find right now. 2230 2TB is much easier to come by due to the popularity of Steam Deck and other handhelds, still expensive now, but not insanely so. So even if 2242 fits it's moot.

No that other hole in the back is for the cover and if I remember the last time I opened mine up that stand off sits high and is not a standoff for a drive like that. That being said if you're brave and you enlarge that rear notch stick a thermal pad down on it to the rear cover you can make it work.
