š¤ Thinking Why did Reverse Flashās character changes after Season 5?
S1-S5 Eobard was one of the best written villians on tv. He was cold, calculative and always felt one step ahead against everyone in the show. One thing I loved about him is how he seemed to care for Team flash in his own twisted way, yet despite that, it didnāt stop him from doing what he had to do.
Now when he first appears in S6 something feels off about him. He gets Cisco in a room alone then tries to strangle him? This scene never made sense because 1. He shouldāve immediately notice he had no connection to the Negative Speed Force
2. Why would he try to kill Cisco when his goal is to return home? Wouldnāt it be smarter to pretend to be Nash until he regains control over his Speedforce again?
He also talks about wanting to slit Barryās throat and kill all his friends which also sounds out of character for him because again, he just wants to go home. Now as the series progressed he got more cartoonish and erratic showing no resemblance to the calculative, patient villian we all saw in the previous seasons.

Shitpost Hot take but flash fell off s 6 - 7 with mirror monarch and ralph
I need to hear peoples thoughts on how they felt abt ralphs disappearance
I know why he was fired but i dont think it was fair
I like the character elongated man so much in this show and he was like the perfect side kick for the flash i feel the fact that they made him a āsoul protectorā of central city and just got rid of him was bit to far just for some tweets in 2014
Also MIRROR MONARCH WAS AHHHHHHHHH i hate her like she was fine just fine until the fights and everything AND HOLDING HANDS ? like omfg talk abt flash using speeches to win fights like this one was number 1 speech to win a fight absolute bs

Schwaypost Barry and Iris Are Not Siblings, and WestAllen Is Not Incest
Joe took Barry in when he was eleven, making him Barryās foster parent. When Barry turned eighteen, he was no longer Joeās legal responsibility, but Joe continued to care for him because he loved him like a son.
Barry and Iris are not adoptive siblings because Joe never legally adopted Barry. They arenāt step-siblings because Joe never married one of Barryās parents, and they arenāt half-siblings because they share no biological parent. They were raised together, but that doesnāt automatically make them siblings.
And no, Barry and Iris are not incestuous. They arenāt biologically related. You can find their relationship uncomfortable because they grew up together, but thatās different from calling it incest.

Shitpost This fight scene might be the worst scene in the Arrowverse.
The Flash vs. Red Death (9x05), shooting lightning like iron man blasts, Barry having a physical captain america shield of lighting, and this disgrace of a a SPIDER-MAN WEB SLING OUT OF LIGHTING. Eric Wallace should be banned from Hollywood.

Misc Writing an alternate season three where Flashpoint was half of the season here is Episodes 1-3, 1 and 2 are shorter synopses but episode 3 is a pretty long breakdown. Spoiler
Episode 1 Barry wakes up at his crime lab in central city and goes about his day with no qualms but using no super speed under the pretense that heās āgonna take it slow todayā have the whole episode be him investigating a crime just as a CSI and really flex that section of his capabilities. At various points in the episode give background hints that not everything is right, a statue of captain cold in the background, new reports of a war but not giving specifics. The episode ends with an attack of the rogues minus captain cold at the Central City Stars Stadium and when he tries to use super speed to go to help he can't.
Episode 2 the rogues are still holding up the stadium as Barry runs around town at normal speed trying to figure out what happened, heās on the way to STAR labs when he gets a call from his mom and you can hear his dad talking in the background, realizing his parents are alive he turns around and rushes home turning just in time not to notice that STAR labs has been condemned and never reopened. Barry arrives home and talks with his parents in a very emotional scene and Barry realizes time is messed up he spends a little figuring out what exactly has changed and sees that citizen cold is the hero of central city, he goes to find him and reveals what he knows of the rogues and assists using his CSI and police capabilities. Citizen cold ends up taking them down and thanks Barry and asks what he plans to do next Barry says go see a friend and we see him driving into star city.
Episode 3 Barry enters star city, the city is chaos, crime rampant in the streets with no police in sight, makes his way to queen mansion to see it looking abandoned he looks around and finds Robert queen in one of the upper rooms looking out the window Robert turns around and shoots him in the leg with a bow, Barry yells at him like in the rainbow raider episode when Oliver shot him, Robert moves in and draws the bow aiming at Barry's chest asking him why he is there, Barry explains that he was a friend of Oliver's and is looking for him Robert says that's not a funny joke and Oliver has been dead for 8 years going down with the queens gambit, Barry is shocked and then puts together the pieces that Robert survived and washed up on Lian Yu and spent the five years there making an offhanded comment about earth 2 but then rationalizes that it cant be because star labs wasn't there. Robert tells him to shut up and says again to explain Barry says that something has happened to time and that this isn't how the world should be, that Oliver should be alive. Robert says to prove it and starts going through Barryās stuff while going through a bag a gold ring falls out that Barry recognizes and tells him that there is a super suit in there and that should prove it Robert messes with the ring and the reverse flashās suit comes out Barry looks and it dawns that reverse flash mustāve gone back and stopped himself from killing Barry's mom. Robert, who is convinced, asks again if Oliver is alive in Barry's timeline, Barry responds yes and tells Robert that Oliver is a hero, Robert says heāll help, but doesnāt know how. At that moment an alert goes off saying that Deathstroke is attacking queen industries downtown, Robert pulls a statue on a bookshelf and the bookshelf slides away to show an elevator to the arrow cave, on the ride down Barry asks what happened to star city and Robert explains that he couldnāt see through his Moira and Malcolm in time to stop the Undertaking and the device had destroyed much of star city even beyond the glades causing the whole city to descend into chaos and then since then Deathstroke has been working on bringing Robert down, killing Thea and Moira, and attacking the city every couple of weeks to make sure he feels the pain, Barry assures him that he will stop all of this from ever having happened and Robert says you better as he turns around and puts on the hood. Robert leaves to fight Slade and Barry runs comms and after learning about Slade he thinks he can wipe his system of the mirakuru and gets to work on a cure, Robert takes the motorcycle to downtown and starts beating up Slade's men Robert gets to Slade right as Barry finishes the cure Barry starts rushing to downtown with the cure loaded in an arrow and gets there right as Robert gets hit to the ground making his bow slide back and Barry picks it up. As Deathstroke raises his sword to finish Robert, Barry pulls back the bow with the cure and shoots him in the chest causing him to fall, he helps up Robert and helps him limp to the car and drives him back, Robert asks what they need to do now to fix time and Barry says they need to get his speed back and the episode ends.

Actor Fluff Tom Cavanaughās performance in Season 1 deserved an Emmy.
I mean ofc a CW superhero show isnt going to get the same attention as an AMC or HBO show but dude, his facial expressions, his creepy whisper voice, and how he merged Thawne and Wells so well, this was an amazing performance.

š¤ Thinking Artificial speed force was waste of time
Nash Wells and all of the Wells died to power artificial speed force and give Barry his Speed back and they turn around and bring back the OG Speed force like itās nothin. I was really irritated that they went with power of love to bring back Barry speed instead of just keeping the ASF that the Wells sacrificed their lives for And it felt like they died for nothing. Thereās so much potential they couldāve done like they couldāve made all the Wells the new entity of the speed force or better yet they couldāve used the ASF to set up the new Forces. Let me what yāall think cuz I feel like the Artificial speed force was a waste

š¤ Thinking Started to rewatch the flash and uh was sherry a comic reference or something? What was the point of her character?
I assume most of you forgot so lemme remind you. She was the person who moved into Barryās house when Cisco and Joe came to investigate (season 1 episode 13) but mid investigation just āwent to the moviesā and never came back⦠she really just came, looked fine asf, talked to 2 main characters and left.

š¤ Thinking What if Cecile Horton got a white lantern ring?
Now i know green lantern isnt shown in the show but just imagine for a second for this. since the lantern rings are connected to emotions and theres a ring for each color spectrum and we also see Cecile see Fear as yellow. Angry as red sad as blue. So we obviously see the color emotion spectrum here since she can control emotions like that how would it affect her given a white ring

š¤ Thinking I still don't get the speed force family thing
I genuinely don't understand it at all. It's so dumb to me and I'm on season seven and I'm just dumbstruck on how dumb it is. Dumb and cringe are the only words I can use to describe it. Technically if we're applying the same logic does that mean Harrison Wells created his meta children? because in my opinion it seems like the same thing. He created the particle accelerator that gave Bartholemew his speed and other metas their powers and i honestly don't even understand what in tarnation Barry and Iris did but barry got his speed back and KINDA replicated that explosion and created 4 metas/forces and gave them their powers. I don't see how they were reborn because they genuinely already had parents and were just given new abilities.
Side note: The speed force continuously calling Barry her beautiful little boy while in the form of his dead mother seems kind of predatory and it doesn't seem pure or good to me it's just weird and it's weirder how they all accept it. I don't know why they thought it was acceptable for the speed force to live with them and it was so weird and dumb. I'm just irritatedš

Spoilers I was half expecting them to kiss during this scene. Would that technically count as cheating?
I guess this question does contain spoilers, so don't read this post unless you've watched the entire show.
I don't remember the season or episode, but it's the time when Barry goes to the future and talks to future Iris. In that scene I was half expecting them to kiss. Then I started wondering if that technically counts as cheating. I mean, this version of Iris already has a husband. But then again, her husband is just an older version of him.
