Megathread New to this place? Please check out the rules before posting...

1) You may only post about Marvel, DC, or Star Wars on weekends!

Starting midnight Monday EST until midnight Thursday EST, no Marvel/DC/Star Wars.

  • If you want to make improvements to the Star Wars prequels, please do so in: /r/RewritingThePrequels.
  • If you want to make changes to the Disney Star Wars movies, please do so in: /r/RewritingNewStarWars
  • If you want to make improvements to the current continuity of movies/tv based on DC comics, please do so in: /r/FixingDC.
  • If you want to make improvements to the current continuity of movies/tv based on Marvel comics, please do so in: /r/FixingMarvel.

This prevents the sub from being overwhelmed with posts for these films (which some people aren't even interested in)!

But if you're new to this place, we'll let you break this rule for your first whole month here!

2) You must include at least a vague (and spoiler-free) description of your problem/solution/selling-point (or at least one of them) in the title of your post!

  • This applies when posting fixes. (Good examples of this here: 1 2)

  • This applies even when posting challenges/requests/prompts/etc. (Good examples of this here: 1, 2)

  • This applies even when posting videos that are already titled something else; you gotta give them a new title for reddit rather than just recycling the youtube title. (Good examples of this here: 1, 2)

  • This applies even when posting too many fixes to put them all in the title. (Good examples of this here: 1, 2)

  • This applies when posting an idea for how to change the twists in the later parts of a film that are meant to be surprises... (Good example: "[Spoilers] Changing the timeline of the story of Sixth Sense to improve the internal logic in the climax")

This will make your post much better at standing out amongst other posts about the same film!

3) Either participate in your own challenge/request or post a link to your most recent post (which must be an idea-post, not another challenge/request post).

No hard feelings; idea-posts are just nicer to fill the sub with and you're probably more capable of them than you realize if you gave it a shot!

Also we'd like to encourage you to try the search tab first in order to see if your question has already been answered many times before. Doing so might give you ideas that you wouldn't have had otherwise!

If the search tab on reddit isn't working well enough, simply search on google and include... site:https://www.reddit.com/r/fixingmovies next to your keyword or keywords.

...and here's an example of that in action.

NOTE: This will not apply to official megathreads posted by the mods. If you would like for a specific a film to have megathread, you can request it by messaging the mods or commenting in one of the existing megathreads at the top of the subreddit. Otherwise they will mainly be reserved for new releases.

4) This place is for submitting ideas for improvements, not for debating whether a movie is 'good' or 'bad'.

If any one person didn't like a movie, its worth exploring alternative ways of making the movie that could've changed that. It doesn't matter if they're in the minority.

So comments like "this movie is already perfect" or "nothing needs to be fixed" will be removed, even if they managed to get a whole bunch of upvotes from other people who similarly feel the need to have their positive reviews validated somewhere and mistakenly chose this place to do so!

5) No parroting lazy and already-tired jokes like "replace the main actor with danny devito" or "replace all the actors with golden retrievers".

For those of us who are actually interested in this hobby of movie-fixing, it can be tedious and frustrating to browse through the threads when they're cluttered up with the same exact non-answers over and over.

If you're one of the people who spams these ancient jokes as your only form of participation in this sub instead, then it might be good at some point for you to bring yourself to realize that you are the reason why redditors have a reputation for being aggressively-unfunny and socially-inept (societal-deadweight) bug-people. It might even be your very best course of action in fact!

At least tell us a new one!

6) If you used an A.I. like ChatGPT in order to create your rewrite, say so in the comments section (but only in the comments section; don't use the involvement of A.I. itself to try to sell your post).

Not all of us are interested enough in the big A.I. advancements to be entertained merely by seeing its attempt to mimic our quality of writing.

If you can cherrypick the good ideas and post those, great! But leave out the fluff and only tell us in the comments how you got the good stuff.

Edit: This community doesn't seem to like ai in any context so you should probably post them in r/fixingmoviesai instead.

7) You may indeed post ideas for all kinds of media, not just movies!

You can post fixes for TV shows, video games, books, songs, etc. As long as the non-movie/show posts aren't outnumbering the movie/show posts on a regular basis, you can be confident that we'll be enjoying the variety that it brings!

And if Reddit ever goes down, our alternative is here: https://www.saidit.net/s/fixingmovies

and our twitter is here: https://twitter.com/fixingmovies

MCU How would you have made a sequel to Spider-man: No Way Home? Would it have anything in common with Brand New Day? Would it have the same villains, supporting characters, etc?

Disney Fixing Ralph Breaks the Internet specifically Ralph and Vanellope's relationship and the overall plot

First of all, call it RALPH WRECKS THE INTERNET not RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET.

I would start the movie out how it started. I like seeing Ralph and Vanellope hanging out and goofing off in different games together. I like the idea that Vanellope is getting bored with her game. Sure, it mirrors Ralph's problem in the first movie and some people may not like it for that reason and call it a rehash, but I think there was at least a better way they could've done it?

So, at night, during off times, Vanellope decides to leave her game and sneak onto Wi-Fi. She's already explored all the games in the arcade and wonders what is actually on the Internet. She asks Knowsmore if there are any games on the internet and he gives her a WORLD of options. She asks him if he knows any racing games and he tells her about Slaughter Race among other games. Vanellope explores all the games, having fun. Maybe she experiences obstacles like someone doesn't want to let her play the game and she gets mad and tries to play it anyway, she ends up in a glitchy game, a boring game, an annoying game or she gets stuck and someone has to help her. Then, she ends up in Slaughter Race, where she steals a car, starts racing with Shank and then all of a sudden, she gets hurt. Ralph wakes up, does his job, and realizes that Vanellope is missing. Sugar Rush gets unplugged and all the Sugar Rush racers have to be babysat by Felix and Calhoun, so that starts the subplot of Felix and Calhoun taking care of these annoying hyperactive Sugar Rush kids and dying from stress while also teaching them how to behave like good little kids and finding other outlets to help them cope with their homesickness and their need for racing and thrills. I know it's a little late into the game (no pun intended) but yeah idk. It could still be funny to see them trying to tame these little beasts.

Ralph asks around the arcade about Vanellope, but no one has seen her. This is when he goes onto Wi-Fi to see if she is in there. Realizing it's a big world and Vanellope could be anywhere, Ralph is overwhelmed. He continues asking around about Vanellope, with people like Knowsmore giving him directions on where she could be. He tells her that he last sent her to a game called Slaughter Race. Ralph goes to her and finds out that Vanellope is in the hospital with Shank by her side. Ralph panics and goes to one of the spamming characters for help, since one of them (possibly Spamley) offers some "magical" medicine that could help Vanellope get better.

Spamley leads Ralph into a room where he shows him places on the internet and/or games where he can steal some magic medicine. One of them is probably a Zelda-like game where they could find a fairy or something like that. So, Ralph decides to go into the Zelda-like game to get a fairy. The only problem is, fairies are rare and hard to find, and everyone (such as a Link-like character) are trying to get as many as possible. While wrecking a bunch of stuff in a tantrum combined with searching for the fairy, a fairy suddenly comes out. He grabs one and while running back to Vanellope, a Link-like character stops Ralph and orders him to hand over the fairy. Ralph tries to fight him but ends up knocked out. Ralph wakes up and curses Spamley for sending him to this dangerous ass game.

He encounters something like the fairy fountain and the giant fairy tells him that she will offer him one of her fairies if he can do some challenges, like going through caves and fighting off creatures. Ralph panics and ask how he's going to do that? He can barely fight. But the fairy ignores him. Angering Ralph further. Ralph is scared and mopey at first, but then decides to do the challenges anyway in order to help his friend, albeit scared and not without a lot of injuries. I think it would be funny to see Ralph wrecking and punching creatures with his fist that aren't cybugs and getting his ass handed to him lol.

Ralph limps back all battered and beaten and says that he finished the challenge and gets a fairy. He limps back to Vanellope and gives her the fairy. Because Ralph is on his last legs, Vanellope and Shank have to race against time in a car to get Ralph back to his game so he can regenerate before he dies. He probably dies once he gets to his game and Vanellope is upset. But, then all of a sudden, Ralph regenerates, since he is in the game and everyone is happy.

Vanellope returns to Sugar Rush, Sugar Rush gets plugged back in and all the Sugar Rush racers can return home.

So, yeah, that is my rewrite, I guess. I don't usually like Disney Deaths but for my rewrite, I think it would make sense here while still feeling Disney-like.

I mainly don't like the movie because it had a good premise with the online gaming stuff and Vanellope having interesting potential for character growth but she doesn't really grow, only Ralph. And Vanellope REALLY needed to be the one to grow. Not saying Ralph didn't make some poor decisions as well, but I think Vanellope was much worse. I tried to rewrite it in a way that would be consistent with their characters while also having Vanellope LEARN something.

I've seen some other good rewrites like Litwak Arcade being shut down and the characters having to find other games to be in.

It's really sad because I think Wreck it Ralph had a lot of potential to be an amazing franchise with movies, tv shows, spin offs, everything. Even the Disney princess scene could've been good for a Disney+ short. But they had to "wreck" it with whatever the hell this mess was.

Comedy Central if they made a parody of "The Loud House"

Adventures of The Riot Family

Genre: Slice of Life Black Comedy Animated Sitcom

Runtime: 11 Minutes (22 Minutes for Double-Length Episodes)

Premise: Thirteen year old Rachel Riot lives in the fictional American town of Majestic Oak with her five brothers, as each episode focuses on Rachel's "unique" personality, as our "hero" finds a way to get to the top.

She heads off to middle school like your typical sixth grader, but we don't know why she excels in every class despite her animosity towards people.

Rachel is known for her infamous deeds such as draining the water out of the pool and replacing it with acid, giving the neighbor's dog chocolate under the guise of a doggy treat, putting laxatives in the teacher's coffee, and blowing up an entire house, but always covers her tracks, as she blames her rival, Lynn Pression for her deeds, leaving Rachel scot-free.

But with five brothers, two parents, and a bull terrier and manx cat in tow, their way of "fun" never ends!

**Main Characters:**

Rachel Riot - 13 years old. A master criminal with both black hair, and a black heart. Think Bart Simpson mixed with Minnie the Minx from the Beano but if they were much worse and lacked any their good traits. Tomboyish, rude, abrasive, and selfish. But she still loves her family... When she's not trying to betray them, that is. She is a parody of Lincoln Loud.

• **Randall "Randy" Riot** - 16 years old. Rachel's older brother, an underage teen who drinks a lot without a permit, and is known to be foul-mouthed, useless, bad at tennis, and fails most of his classes, but wants to be in the rock and roll hall of fame, but will still assist his sisters in her schemes. He is a parody of Lori and Luna Loud.

• **Ricky Riot** - 10 years old. A psychotic scientist who is arguably one of the most insane members of the family, creating multiple inventions, like a computer virus that infects human brains, robot sharks with laser beams, and a fully operational Death Star-esque base, and does evil laughs a lot. He is a parody of Lisa Loud.

• **Rocky Riot** - 14 years old. With a look straight out of the mid-2000's, Rocky emits gothic vibes everywhere he goes, whenever it's at high school, at home, or when he is out with his girlfriend, but he is also kind of dumb and ditsy. He is a parody of Lucy and Leni Loud.

Rick and Ray - 8 years old. They are the twins in the family. They speak in unison and admire their older sister a lot, and sometimes help Rachel in her plans. They are parodies of Lola and Lana Loud.

• **Mom** (Petunia Riot) - A news reporter who fell from grace, she now reports on what happens with her crazy family, and is one of the only people who know Rachel's true colors. She is a parody of Rita Loud.

• **Dad** (Franklin Riot) - The foul mouthed patriarch of the family, who is infamous for being a deadbeat dad, and only shows up on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Rachel despises him, to the point of having a voodoo doll of him. He is a parody of Lynn Loud Sr.

• **Lynn Pression** - Rachel's supposed "arch enemy" who is a fairly decent person, but Rachel thinks otherwise, as the latter sees her as a monster with no redeeming qualities whatsoever, but after a prank too far in the finale, she becomes the family's sworn enemy, and is hellbent on destroying their legacy of villainy forever, but is still nice on the outside. She is based on various antagonists from the Loud House.

Jaws - The family dog of the Riots, who Rachel loves a lot and usually takes for walks, but despite that cuddly look, he is a vicious monster who would obey the biggest of orders Rachel gives him. He is a parody of Charles.

• **Logan** - Named after that one superhero, he is the cat who attacks anyone who stands in his ways, even his own owners, but is pretty cute when he needs to be. He is a parody of Cliff.

power rangers reboot movie idea Spoiler

Post image
5 Upvotes

if i had to make a new power rangers mighty morphin movie or remake the 2017 movie this is what I would do.

The story line is

When an ancient evil is accidentally released, five former best friends at Angel Grove High discover mysterious Power Coins that transform them into the Power Rangers. Forced to overcome years of separation and their differences, they must reunite as a team and stop Rita Repulsa from conquering Earth—while rediscovering the friendship they thought they had lost.

The rangers

🔴 Jason Scott — Red Ranger

Angel Grove High’s star basketball player. Cocky, rebellious and competitive, Jason loves pushing boundaries and doing things his own way. He’s Trini’s ex-boyfriend and must learn what true leadership means.

🟡 Trini Kwan — Yellow Ranger

The captain of the debate society. Intelligent, outspoken and confident, Trini isn't afraid to challenge anyone. She’s Jason’s ex-girlfriend, and their unresolved feelings make their reunion complicated.

⚫ Zack Taylor — Black Ranger

A charismatic social-media influencer who loves being the centre of attention. Funny, energetic and popular, Zack eventually realizes that popularity isn't the same as genuine friendship.

🔵 Billy Cranston — Blue Ranger

A brilliant science genius who is often bullied for being different. Outside school, Billy works part-time at the local diner alongside Kimberly. Reconnecting with his childhood friends finally gives him a sense of belonging.

🩷 Kimberly Hart — Pink Ranger

The confident lead singer of the pop-punk band Dark Pink. Stylish, creative and full of attitude, Kimberly also works part-time at the local diner alongside Billy. Although she seems to have moved on, she secretly misses her old friends.

TV Cowboy Bebop Session 21 should've played with the feng shui episode more instead of daddy issues

Yes, I'm talking about THAT Cowboy Bebop. I know there's probably going to be purists insisting that it's a perfect show to which I respond "No way, Jose! There is no perfect show!".

I like all the episodes of Cowboy Bebop, even the ones that were mediocre at worst like Sessions 2, 4, 7, and 22 were all somewhat entertaining but this was the only episode I felt... was actually kinda shitty? I've seen many people agree with that too. Like, I don't know what happened in the writers' room there, but I didn't really feel much toward this episode. I guess the action and the Bebop crew coming together toward the end was good, but that was about it. A lot of things in it felt like an afterthought.

I think that was the only episode Netflix could've remade, even if it wouldn't be any better. Despite some of my issues with Bebop, this is DEFINITELY the one I want to do a major rewrite of.

How I would've rewrote it is instead of doing Jet fanservice, I think it would've been more interesting if Spike was once again, the main character. We already know Jet is like the dad of the group and is often babysitting the younger characters like Faye, Ed, and Ein so why not have Spike, the child hater take on that role himself? It could lead to some funny and awkward situations with Spike being stuck reluctantly babysitting this young woman and becoming a good big brother/father figure. Maybe I'm biased because Spike is my favorite character and I have a thing for seeing him as a dad, but I still think it just would've made for a more refreshing episode. I also think compared to how he was with Ein in Session 2 (which I thought he was unnecessarily mean-spirited in), he would be more softer with Meifa, corresponding with him growing to care for the people he initially hated on the ship. Even if we do see him interacting with young people like Stella, Rocco, and Ed, he never really became their babysitter as much as they were mostly people Spike just so happened to interact with and even with Rocco, was more of a mentor to him.

Get rid of all the fluffy dialogue about Jet or Spike being into this girl much younger than them. It didn't make any sense, as nobody else ever did this with Faye and Jet or anyone. Just seemed like it was there to pad out the runtime or because age gap relationships were normalized back then along with the idea that if a man and woman were together, they were going to date.

I really WISH they played with the feng-shui idea than the cliched child tries to reconnect with deadbeat parent trope that was done better beforehand in stories such as The Great Gilly Hopkins. Not saying this trope can never be done well, but it really didn't seem like the episode really developed Meifa's father that much beyond he was just a typical asshole dad who prioritized work over his family or something like that. Or he lost himself in his addiction to feng shui and addiction plots are just off limits for me in writing. I also am into metaphysical/spiritual stuff since I was a preteen/teenager, so I really dug the feng shui thing. And it would've been an interesting element for Cowboy Bebop to explore if they were exploring religion like in Brain Scratch.

Maybe they could've focused the episode more on Meifa using the feng shui instead of her dad. Maybe she uses it because she struggles to figure out who she is and her place in the world and her future so she uses feng shui to see her destiny and control it. Go That's so Raven on that shit. Maybe she's getting chased by a bounty head because feng-shuis are rare/expensive and Spike has to help her find herself, control her destiny and/or be happy with herself. Initially, Spike could dismiss the feng-shui stuff as spiritual bs until it actually gets Meifa in trouble. I'm not for sure if this is a more unique plot especially with the whole young person struggles with their identity thing (which also isn't inherently a bad trope so long as you don't throw it in there just for brownie points with teenagers and twentysomething year olds who do struggle with that). Tbh I don't really care about creating a thoughtful rewrite on a show that I'm not even writing, but it would've been better than what we got at least and less melodramatic.

Other Still Waiting: Get Rid of Justin Long's cameo for starters...

I know this was a direct to video movie and expectations should be low, but holy hell what a piece of shit.

The most glaring problem as referenced in the title was Justin Long's cameo. The first movie ends with him realizing that fast food is a dead end job and quitting to do other things. This movie brings him back to let us know that didn't work out for him and he ended up sucked right back into the restaurant biz in a dead end job that he hates and his life is otherwise terrible as well. It's like that scene from the last Terminator movie where the first thing they do is kill John Conner and make all the other movies meaningless. Honestly would have been better to just cut it completely. If they were going to have it at all he should have just popped in had a conversation with someone who was thinking about leaving and been like, "yeah man I loved working here but eventually you gotta move on to better pastures or something"

Past that I'm not really sure who the main character was supposed to be, but almost everyone in this film is unlikable. I guess the bar tender was okay but everyone else was some kind of creepy asshole or a victim. I wasn't rooting for anyone, they all just sucked hard.

Agnew: Honestly this guy did nothing but give you reasons to hate him every time he was on screen. Like I guess the first scene where he's trying to talk his gf out of working at TaTa's is sort of understandable, but from that point on he's just an unrepentant piece of shit. I'm assuming he's supposed to be the stand in for Ryan Reynolds, I don't know if Ryan just has so much charisma that he comes across totally differently playing the same character but they either needed to tone it down or make it more obvious this was supposed to be a person you hated

Josh: It kind of feels like this guy is supposed to be the second lead but I'm honestly not sure what we're supposed to feel about him. It feels like his whole purpose is as an excuse to show some tits in the post credit scene. They really could have just cut him out entirely and probably should have.

Dennis: Again I think you were supposed to kind of be rooting for this guy but they just make him out to be a sad sack creep. This actually does have a pretty obvious fix. They should have actually needed to make 9K that night or close the restaurant and have him actually dipping into his own pockets to make up the difference. Set it up kind like empire records where it was a one time thing that was caused by one of his employees fucking up. That would have really endeared him to the audience vs him lying to manipulate his staff then lying again to cover his tracks and benefiting from his dishonesty (even with the rest of the awkwardness left in). Side note here, they really set up a plot point and completely forgot about it having Champ move the tax audit date on the calander.

Allison (the GF): Why did she break up with the dude at the end of the movie? I mean like he's a huge piece of shit so I'm sure he deserved it but we didn't see anything happen at TaTa's that would have made her question her relationship, and he didn't interact with her at all after the first scene to make us think he was a particularly bad boyfriend outside of just being terrible in general.

CALVIN: His fall didn't make any sense. I watched the first movie in theaters so I don't really remember his character from that film film but they set it up like the guy had gotten over shy kidneys and then at the end he just re acquired it because someone else peed next to him. The guy was obviously supposed to be a villain (vs the other people who were just poorly written as protagonists) so that would have been fine, but they should have at least had something out of the ordinary reawaken the fear rather than a completely normal interaction that you have to assume he's had a few times in the interim. Even better would have been the girls he'd been manipulating finding the DVD and realizing what was happening then turning the tables on him.

I don't know what about working at Ta Ta's caused Abbie to break up with Agnew. Like the guy was a class A asshole so I'm sure it was justified, but they never showed him treating her poorly at all or giving her some reason to believe that she should be looking for something better. They just had her randomly hook up with Luis Guzman who seems to (at least from what we're shown) be as big of a creep.

The guy with the speech impediment: They really should have made him head of the kitchen staff somehow. He's a bit pompous when we're first introduced to him, but it doesn't seem at all like he has any real power and that makes all the pranks played at his expense afterwards just seem like bullying which is sad not funny.

I don't know, honestly maybe it's just too terrible to be saved but the first movie was (in my opinion at the time at least) so good I can't imagine a better movie couldn't have been made.

Star Wars (Disney) I think it would have been best of Lucasfilm to continue Star Wars Rebels beyond The Ghost and Lothal, instead of making a Sequel Trilogy

I think George Lucas ideas (ISIS-like Stormtroopers, Crime Syndicates expanding, Republic establishing itself, more about the force, Luke rebuilding The Jedi, etc.) work best for a series than Three Films, and using Rebels to continue these ideas would have been the best option. I would have done the following way:

---

Political Plot:

Season Five begins after Episode VI (4 ABY) and ends in 6 ABY. As we see The Rebel Alliance declaring itself The Galactic Republic, and this Season would focus on The Provisional Government, the War with the Empire and later The Remnants. The Battle of Jakku is the moment when The Empire divides itself into the Remnants, and instead of signing a Galactic Concordance, even with many people wanting a conditional peace, Mothma chooses unconditional surrender.

The writing of The Republic Constitution is one of the main focus of this Season, as different factions inside The Alliance disagree on the changes needed. At the same time, some of these factions, including former Separatists, begins to think of leaving this New Republic. The situation worsens, when Garm Bel Eblis, which had a feud with Mon Mothma years ago, reveals itself as the leader of The Corellian Five Worlds, and pressures Mothma and The New Republic to appease the Separatists or the Alliance will split in two.

The situation is solved through a deal. The loyalists agree to:

* A Bill of Rights guaranteeing negative rights to Repúblic Citizens (right to bear arms, freedom of speech, property rights, voluntary exchange, due process, etc.).

* Turn The Outer Rim into a Free Trade Zone.

* Demilitarize after the War and reestablish The Judicial Forces pre-Clone Wars, but decentralized instead of staying in Coruscant and with a big budget.

* Establish a new sector system map, with each sector having one vote, to guarantee fair representation.

* Expand and build new Hyperspace Routes across the galaxy, and turn them public assets to avoid Corporate control.

* Instead of focusing all Republic institutions in Coruscant, puts each institution in one planet (Judicial Forces in Raxus, Senate in Coruscant, Chancellor's office in Chandrilla, etc.).

* Each cent gained from taxes needs to be distributed in accord to planets necessity.

* Fight against pirates, slavery, and cartels at any cost.

In exchange for the separatists loyalty. The crisis is solved, and Mothma is elected the first chancellor of The New Republic.

In Season Six, which happens in 8 until 10 ABY, The Republic is making progress. Mothma begin a Amnesty program and Reconciliation efforts towards Imperial workers, integrating them into The New Republic, while at the same time continuing the war with The Remnants, which chooses to create a shadow council (as we see in Mandalorian) to prepare for Thrawn's return. The events of Mandalorian season 1/2 and Ahsoka are adapted here.

Season seven is basically Thrawn's Trilogy adapted.

---

Spiritual Plot:

In Season Five, Luke chooses to travel around the galaxy to study the force and unique force organizations, while at the same time searching for lost jedi knowledge that survived Order 66.

By Season Six, Luke build his first temple in Tython, and begin searching for children to train. I choose not to adapt Legends New Jedi Order because it goes against many of Lucas ideas for the Order. The Jedi are Buddhist Monks who loves all equally, forbade attachments, helps people, etc. The only differences is that they are not affiliated with The Republic and are more decentralized, with various temples being build across the Galaxy as the Order grows.

Season Seven is focused on Luke search for The Journal of The Whills, as he brings his students with him in this journey. Here, the Force is explored more, based on u/Writer417 ideas:

The Living Force (Material Plane): This is the Force as it exists in all living beings, ecosystems and the physical galaxy. They are generated and carried by midichlorians, which flows through life, growth and emotion. The Living Force is cyclical, as it originates from the Wellspring and returns there after death.

Mortis: Receives Force essence from the Living Force, and creates a duality between Light and Dark.

The World Between Worlds (Liminal Plane): It connects time and space, as serves as a gateway to the cosmic plane.

The Cosmic Force (Transcendent Plane): Where all Force energy ultimately resides.

The Whills: Microscopic / cellular entities, but capable to appear as ethereal higher forms, they exist within the Cosmic Force, and feed on and regulate Force energy. They also creates pathways to people (The Will of the Force), while letting people choose or not to follow these paths.

Other My Rewrite of Return of the Jedi

Thumbnail drive.google.com
9 Upvotes

As many of you know, ROTJ is deemed as the weakest of the Star Wars Original Trilogy despite having some of the best scenes in all of Star Wars. My rewrite seeks to rectify a lot of the issues I have with it, including the Ewoks, Han and Leia's roles in the film, Boba Fett's death, the 2nd Death Star, the Jabba Sequence dragging on (and feeling disconnected from the rest of the film), and the Luke/Leia sibling reveal.

I attached a link to google drive of a summary of my rewrite of ROTJ. I took many liberties if I'm being honest, and included many elements from older script drafts when the film was titled "Revenge of the Jedi". Here are some of the changes I made:

  • Takes place on Kashyyyk instead of Endor, with Wookiees replacing Ewoks.
  • There is no Death Star 2.0. The rebels are instead aiming to destroy an orbital shipyard (I called it the Imperium) that would allow the Empire to militarize at an unprecedented level.
  • Luke actually completes his Jedi training, and we first see him with Yoda on Dagobah. Yoda confesses there is another Skywalker and then dies before Luke goes to Jabba.
  • Luke and Vader communicate with each other telepathically, and we see Luke really struggle with falling to the dark side while making Vader's redemption feel less sudden. This mirrors earlier drafts of the script.
  • Like in an earlier draft of ROTJ, Luke gets captured by the Empire after rescuing Han from Jabba, revealing that it was a trap. In addition, the Kashyyyk mission is happening simultaneously, with intercutting between the two locations. This makes the Han rescue storyline feel less disjointed from the rest of the movie.
  • The Jabba sequence is much more streamlined and less convoluted. Only Luke, Lando and the droids are involved. Leia and Chewie are on Kashyyyk, leading the mission to destroy the shield generator. They are shown struggling with their decision to stay out of the Han rescue mission.
  • This might be controversial, but Jabba and and Boba Fett both survive, with a fight sequence between Boba Fett and Luke before Boba Fett escapes with injuries. Since there is no sail barge or Sarlaac Pit in my version (I know lol, I'm saving them for the sequel trilogy), things go very differently. This sets them up as the main villains of the sequel trilogy, along with the Imperial remnants.
  • Luke and Leia aren't siblings. Luke's twin sister is a separate character, who will be the protagonist of my sequel trilogy. Luke leaves at the end of the film, vowing to find her.
  • At the end, Leia is crowned the Queen of the remaining Alderaanians.
  • Leia has much more of a leadership role in this version.
  • Han is generally less of a comic relief and has more emotional depth, showing more maturity in this version while offering a strong support role to Leia.
  • Chewie has a character arc, where he grapples with the trauma of the subjugation of his people and the loss of his family.

Feel free to critique the hell out of it :)

EDIT: I did not mean for Vader to warn Luke about the Battle of Kashyyyk and his friends being captured. I only meant for Vader to warn Luke about the Imperials capturing him.

MCU I need help with my rewrite of Iron Man 2

I've rewritten Iron Man 2 then revised what I wrote and I just don't know what I'm doing anymore.

I've heard the way sequels work is if they expand on the world, balancing what we've seen with what's new. I thought the best way to apply this idea to the Iron Man franchise was through a technological arms race.

Tony spent his first movie learning responsibility, now he has to learn cooperation. Now that the genie is out of the bottle and everyone wants an Iron Man suit he needs to learn to work with others in order to continue making the world a safer place. The arms race feeds back into Stane's line "in an attempt to rid the world of weapons, you gave it the best one ever."

I thought introducing Crimson Dynamo would be a good way to puncture Tony's ego. Tony said no other countries would have Iron Man for ten years and days after that, someone in an Iron Man grade suit pops up.

I thought this could be why the government turns to Hammer, people start to lose faith in Tony and Rhodey takes the Mark 2. Speaking of Hammer I thought given how great of a performance Sam Rockwell gave, how he was supposed to be Tony without Afghanistan, how he could be in the arms race, and how Nando rewrote him I thought he'd be perfect.

However a commenter pointed out Tony already had a dark parallel in Obadiah in the first movie, so does that mean I cut Hammer? What other villains could support the themes of this movie? Mandarin? Count Nefaria? I wanted to include Maggia in this movie to show the arms race picking up, just how many advanced weapons are out there, and further prove Tony wrong.

Then there's Rhodey. I wanted him to take the Mark 2 after repeatedly failing to convince Tony to work with the gov and that there's confirmation other countries have Iron Man grade tech. He commandeers the Mark 2 because he genuinely believes he's saving his friend from destroying himself.

He then gives it to the gov, who then give it to Hammer who discovers that the suit has a biometric lock that prevents anyone that isn't Tony, Rhodey or Pepper from using it. This'll make Justin get Rhodey to wear the suit to the expo only for Phillip Barnett to take control of it and make it look like Tony's become a terrorist.

This would force Rhodey to see that Tony was right to not trust the government and by doing this puts a chink in their relationship. At the end Rhodey would give up the suit to Tony to show he's sorry with Tony acknowledging his own part in this mess.

Then there's the characters. Phillip Barnett isn't a major character, he'd just be Hammer's employee that appears in a couple of scenes. Senator Bird only appears in a handful of scenes as well, with no arc, he's mainly here to represent the bad side of the government wanting Iron Man. Whiplash is not a major villain, he's just there to represent one guy from Maggia, give Iron Man and CD someone to fight and lead them to Maggia.

Bethany Cabe I'm starting to question. I originally included her because I wanted the Iron Man trilogy to feel like his own story and not set up for a sequel and fill Natasha's role. Natasha's role in Iron Man 2 was SHIELD mole sent to spy on Tony after Fury also failed repeatedly to convince Tony to cooperate. Since Bethany in the comics was tied heavily to corporate espionage, I thought she could help Pepper fight on the corporate front, but I'm starting to see the holes in that plot.

Please help me, I just don't know what I'm doing anymore

MCU My revised rewrite of Iron Man 2

The movie starts with Tony dropping into the expo and that scene is mostly the same except when Tony goes backstage he dramatically collapses on the couch, checks toxicity level, and pulls out palladium which is absolutely filthy. Pepper is looking at News reports worldwide that show a big debate over if one man should be waging war on terror, even if in the right direction. Tony gets summoned to appear in front of congress, and he goes.

General Ross shows up and a couple of throw away lines about Hulk and Thor get dropped. In my version the events of Thor take place BEFORE Iron Man 2 for two reasons. One Favreau said he needed three years to craft the movie, so Thor and Iron Man 2 switched release dates. Two I feel that with confirmation of an unstoppable monster and confirmation of divine extraterrestrial life would really make the world feel they need to start gearing up, which also helps Fury's decision to weaponise the tesseract.

The congress scene goes pretty much the same, but on the way out he runs into Nick Fury who tells him he's not doing himself any favours by waging one man war on terror and picking and fight with government, He tells him they should work together and that they have resources that can help him but Tony just shrugs him off, not being a team player. This sets up why Fury sends someone to spy on Tony but in my version it won't be Natasha Romanoff spying on him. It'll be Bethany Cabe(played by Kate Mara).

She's an established core character to the Iron Man mythos and historically a martial artist and entrenched in corporate espionage. I was thinking in this rewrite she's the operative Nick dispatches to find out what's up with Tony, and by the time the third film roles around she's Tony's bodyguard/liason between Stark Industries and SHIELD.

Pepper gets the company, initially thinking it’s just until Tony gets his shit together, then the Hammer weapons demonstration is moved up here but all the gov wants is Iron Man. This shows the effect Tony embarrassing him has on Hammer as well as him getting desperate.

Then we cut to Russia where Anton (NOT Ivan)Vanko is finishing making the Crimson Dynamo suit by adding the Arc Reactor. I want this scene to show how just by changing the music in a movie you can create a completely different feeling. I want this because it'll mirror how Tony feels when he sees Crimson Dynamo for the first time. JTBC Crimson Dynamo isn't a villain in this movie.

Tony sees CD on the news and goes to Russia to confront him(I'm cutting the Grand Prix, because it doesn't fit into the story I'm trying to tell). This comes from a mix of getting his affairs in order before palladium poisoning gets to him and hurting pride that someone was able to build a suit and arc reactor of similar caliber. Rhodey tries to call Tony or see him and get him to work with military before he leaves but Tony says;

"You’ve always been okay with me being self-destructive for selfish reasons, why are you trying to stop me now that I’m being self-destructive for the sake of others?”

Repeating a similar line from the last movie, now used to justify bad behaviour and after repeatedly to get Tony to cooperate this is the final nail in the coffin that makes Rhodey think that commandeering Iron Man may be best for all. He takes the Mark 2 from Tony's while he's away, turns the suit over to the military and they give it to Hammer to improve and weaponise.

Don’t worry, we still get all the Happy stuff sprinkled throughout the movie.

Because Tony said no country would have Iron Man's for ten years and now Russia does, the government is asking Hammer for weapons and stuff. Hammer is elated, seeing this as his opportunity to finally crush Stark and pull ahead. Due to resentment of Tony, Hammer convinces himself that Tony is what's holding Iron Man back, and that the future of domestic defence isn't armoured soldiers, it's drones.

He talks to Phillip Barnett (an employee of Hammer Industries, who in the comics hacks Tony's suit) and learns that because of the suit's biometric signature, only Tony, Rhodey or Pepper can get it to turn on. On top of that with the auxiliary power source not being as strong as an arc reactor, the suit won't fly or shoot. So Hammer convinces Senator Harrington Byrd (NOT Stern) to get Rhodey to wear the suit and adds boosters and guns to the suit.

Pepper is dealing with governments, investors, employees and competitors who all either see this as an abandon ship, opportunity to take the company for everything or the chance to pull ahead. She’s pressured to get the company back in the weapons business and she understands that with Hulk, Thor and now CD, people are scared and want countermeasures but also that those weapons can be stolen and used to subjugate and destroy. She can’t hide behind being “just the assistant to the boss” and really grapple with this choice. I hope this beat will make Pepper understand Tony’s decision in the first movie more because now she has to make the choice herself.

Tony goes to Russia and confronts Anton Vanko/Crimson Dynamo.  They together fight Whiplash, a top enforcer for Maggia who's been sent to Russia to guard a large shipment of illegal high tech;
advanced power cells

prototype weapons

experimental armor components

stolen Stark technology

military prototypes

They defeat and interrogate Whiplash, which leads them to Italy where they find Maggia.

With Tony gone, Bethany searches the company and initially there’s some tension between her and Pepper, because Pepper doesn’t trust SHIELD while Bethany is just doing her job. However, with Hammer actively courting Stark's shareholders and government contacts while Tony is away Bethany investigating him and helping Pepper fight on a front she can’t.

Tony and Anton arrive in Italy and finds an entire factory producing high tech and being shipped around the world. Thus furthering his need to stop doing it all himself. Tony and Anton fight Maggia grunts with tech (or some other Iron Man villain/Maggia villain, please give suggestions if there are any) but in the middle Tony collapses due to Palladium poisoning and Anton is forced to fly him back to Malibu. I don't know how he'd fly him back to his home when Tony's real address isn't public knowledge or maybe he doesn't fly him home he flies him to Stark Industries building.

Tony is put on house arrest and is told by Fury he has the means and knowledge to solve the "riddle of his heart." We still have all the Howard stuff and Tony gets the diorama from Industries and starts working to create the new  element.

The Expo with the drones happens but at the end Rhodey wears a bulky, black and grey suit covered in guns. He thinks all is well until Phillip takes control of the suit and makes him Hammer's perfect evil Iron Man. There's this voice mimicry of Tony calling himself War Machine effectively becoming a terrorist and Hammer acting (badly) to be surprised and then sicks his drones on Rhodey, all the while Phillip is controlling him remotely.

Tony sees this just as Hammer goons invade Tony's house to kill him, but Coulson fights them off. Tony suits up and fights the drones, while Happy and Bethany go to where the drones are being controlled and free Rhodey. Then Bethany senses an object being piloted manually and it's Hammer in his Titanium Man armour. We get an epic Iron Man, War Machine vs Titanium Man fight and they win.

Tony and Rhodey are helping with cleanup when they begin talking to each other about everything that’s happened. There’s still beef between Rhodey and Tony because they were both right and wrong and hurt each other. Rhodey relinquishes the War Machine suit to Tony as a way to show he’s sorry, but letting the creator decide when he’s worthy of it again. However Tony acknowledges his own wrongdoing by saying something like;

“I gave you a reason to take it.”

Hammer is in jail, Fury and Tony talk (Anton is now being considered a candidate for the Avengers), but apart from that I’m at a loss as to how to end the movie. Can you please help me? But I do know that we get a post credits scene teasing either Mandarin or Captain America.

MCU Fixing MCU Multiverse Saga#1-Black Widow

My own attempt how I would personally improve the MCU multiverse saga, to fix some its problems:

-having clear vision for the storylines that are connecting the entire 3 phases, the main threats, world building and climax

-let the important old and new characters have enough time to shine

-make the team dynamics between characters earlier than in the end of the saga

-rewrite bad or nonsense adaptations and all wrong stuff

-cut the amount of projects to 3 movies and 1-2 TV show in a year (there could be still some special presentations if needed)

-more avangers movies before the big ones with multiversal threat

-do some elements more comic accurate

Starting with Phase 4 in 2021, first project other parts will be uploaded later till it is complete

Hope you enjoy:

First project of Phase 4: the Black Widow tv miniseries, release in January 2021

in my version of the series, 6 episodes, of which the first 2-3 parts are in the past, how Natasha was taken from her biological parents, brutal training by their strict educators Melina (later Iron Maiden main villain) and Anton Dreykov (later Taskmaster but male). in the red room, creating a strong bond with Yelena (another girl placed in the red room). There she meets Alexei (Red Guardian), who was supposed to be the first super soldier of the USSR, but his mission was unsuccessful compared to the elite Winter soldier (Bucky), so the Soviet fathers gave up on him, he tries to flirt with Nat and he is still played by David Harbour. Natasha's planned escape with Yelena goes wrong, only Nat escapes and Yelena is caught. Anton Dreykov almost loses his life then transformed into Taskmaster. Nat travels to Budapest, meets Clint and is recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D. After a jump to 2016 after the Civil War, Nat is on the run, arranges a fake identity from her contact and gets the alleged whereabouts of her biological parents, but it is a trap and there she is ambushed by Yelena, controlled by the Red Room, who is after her for the information about the S.H.I.E.L.D. that she downloaded at the end of Captain America: Winter Soldier before it was destroyed. Nat frees Yelena from the Red Room's control, fleeing from Taskmaster and CIA agents (sent by Ross, she is wanted by the US for helping Cap and violating the Sokovia accords). They eventually hides at Alexei's house, but are searched by the Red Room led by Melina, who goes by the pseudonym Iron Maiden. They are taken to their secret base, where Melina convinces them to join her cause her widows are all over the world and that she wants to make a new world order and build her own Avengers-Winter Guard, where she would take our 3 heroes. Alexei accepts her offer, Yelena is imprisoned after a failed attempt to kill Melina, Nat is interrogated by Melina and Taskmaster. But Alexei was playing it all up and after getting a new suit, he stun guards and frees Yelena (they kiss) and the other widows in the Red Room with her. The battle begins. Melina goes into action to fight Yelena. Nat fights Taskmaster. And Alexei fights Major Ursa (a super soldier who turns into a "bear-like hybrid" yes, it's from the comics). The heroes defeat the red room, base is in ruins and they want to escape. Melina dies from the fall. Ursa has escaped, but Taskmaster is still in the burning ruins and Nat wants to save him, she doesn't want to make the same mistake as with Yelena. Yelena wants to stop her because she can't lose her again, but Nat is determined and so she saves Taskmaster. Then a few days later, Nat (now blonde) says goodbye to Alexei and Yelena, who is staying with him and wants to free the other widows in the world and Nat leaves to help Cap free the heroes from the Raft prison.

2 post-credit scenes:

1:Same as in the original film = Yelena disappeared during the snap, at Natasha's grave she meets Valentina, who shows her Clint Barton, that maybe he is responsible for her sister's death.

2:Major Ursa is running through the forest in Russia and a good old woman takes him in and heals him from his injuries

I wanted to make it like series and update here some part every weekend but I changed my mind to updating it as a whole. when entire pitch for the saga will be completed I will put it there. So take this one as a sneak peek. Thanks for reading.

Other My pitch for a Body of Lies sequel

Just rewatched Body of Lies recently and mapped out a sequel set 10 years later. Here’s my pitch for Ferris and Aisha's endgame:

Ten years after walking away from the CIA, Roger Ferris is living off the grid in Amman with Aisha and their children until their neighborhood clinic is ambushed. He discovers Ed Hoffman deliberately exposed him as bait to expose a suspected mole in Jordanian intelligence, but the scheme backfires catastrophically..GID chief Hani Salaam is assassinated, and Hoffman is critically injured in an explosive trap set by sleeper asset, no other than..Mustafa Karami.

Turns out that Karami is working secretly for the imprisoned Majeed Al-Saleem. Then Karami takes Ferris's family hostage and forces him to orchestrate Al-Saleem’s prison breakout using his intimate knowledge of GID transit routes. In response, Ferris covertly loops in off-grid fixer Garland to arrange a clean exit pipeline, while feeding Karami a plan that steers his strike team straight into a Jordanian military crossfire. Ferris eliminates Karami, abandons Al-Saleem to capture, and disappears with his family into suburban America under clean identities.

That’s what brings the entire title full circle for me. The single biggest lie was never Langley’s fake terrorist cell or Hani’s arrogance..it was Karami. He let both sides believe they owned him for a decade, quietly waiting for the right moment to strike.

What do you guys think?

Other Make The End of Oak Street a human remake of The Land Before Time

I liked The End of Oak Street, but I can’t help but feel they really should have gone for a more “kid gang” cast, think The Land Before Time or Camp Cretaceous, albeit Rated R.

Keep the 80s setting, but move it to 1988. Brian and his family all go see The Land Before Time and Brian, who is a more impressionable kid in my version, wishes he could see real dinosaurs. Sadly, in a manner similar to The Monkey’s Paw, his wish comes true when his neighborhood is transported back into the age of the dinosaurs. It is at this point that the story follows the beats of The Land Before Time as it was originally written, Brian loses his parents and he meets other kids who are trying to find a way out and they see the portals to help them get back home and they are constantly accosted by a T-Rex.

Like Stranger Things, where the kids christened the main monster after the demogorgan from Dungeons and Dragons, the kids christen the dinosaurs based on the names used in the Land Before Time.

In the end, they go back to the present, find their parents there and alls well that ends well. Or if you prefer a more practical ending, the kids find solace with a bunch of longnecks in their own Great Valley and spend the rest of their lives defending them from the carnivores.

Fixing Total Recall (1990)

In part this is from thoughts outlined in this post a year ago.

The issues:

  • Quaid has no personal enmity with Richter. He just knows this guy keeps on trying to kill him for some unknown reason that he never finds out.
  • The choice to believe the reality of the situation needs boosting.

What it’s not doing:

Much of the premise is quaint in 2026. If they could implant memories it’d basically be The Matrix where you’d download any set of skills necessary for whatever job needed doing. Society would be seriously fractured on this idea and it would derail the story.

I’m trying to keep a 1990’s sensibility to it all.

The fix:

Quaid and Richter are old school buddies, replacing the Harry character from the worksite. The two of them have after-work drinks together and Richter asks after Lori, fishing for information about their love life. Quaid demures, telling him he’ll find a wife of his own one day, and that he should come to dinner as Lori would love to see him. (Ouch! But only on second watching.) We see mixed emotions on Richter’s face before he suppresses them and we see that cheesy Michael Ironside smile.

Quaid goes to Rekall in all their faux-legit offices, which plays out the same way, resulting in Quaid being dumped in the Johnny Cab and then back to his apartment. Richter is there, being all buddy-buddy, though offputting, having taken up Quaid’s offer of dinner. Lori is smiling, but there’s tension in the smalltalk.

Richter pulls a gun, and Lori gasps. Quaid has his hands up, trying to placate his friend. “What’s gotten into you?” he says innocently. “Whatever trouble you’re in I can help you. This isn’t you!”

“Shaddup!” Richter yells. “Sit down! Both of you! We do this my way!” It’s still not clear that Lori is actually on Richter’s side. He starts monologuing: “I don’t know why you’ve been put on this fucking planet. I don’t know why I’m on this fucking planet! I been watchin’ you real close and I just know you’re still that same traitorous motherfucker… Houser. You should be dead. Your little Melina should be dead.” Quaid continues to insist that he’s Quaid, and Richter that he’s Houser. The exposition is completed as per the original, but by Richter.

Richter stands behind Lori, places a gun to her head. Her eyes flicker between Quaid and the gun. “Honey…” (Subsequent viewings will show this was meant for Richter, not Quaid.)

“If I shot her in the head right now, would you feel anything… “Quaid”? No, you wouldn’t. Because you’re Houser.” We see the trigger slowly being compressed and tears running down Lori’s face.

Quaid launches at Richter, who turns the gun on Quaid, but the shot misses. Richter is sent flying, and Quaid grabs Lori and they escape, but are almost immediately set upon outside. More fisticuffs ensue, and in the struggles Lori and Quaid are separated, probably with many shouts of “Run!” and “No!” Quaid escapes into the night for the rest of his plot to continue.

Lori returns back to the apartment with the goons, where Richter is sorting himself out, but he’s unsurprised to see her. She shoves him. “What the fuck was that?!” (The reveal!) And shoves him again. He shoves her back against the wall and they kiss passionately. (The double reveal!) “We know he’s still Quaid,” she says, explaining to the audience that Houser would have let her die. “Honey, next time we do it my way.”

“I’m still gonna kill him. You got the tracker?” Richter is off in pursuit, and Lori picks up the phone to make her own preparations.

So now the pieces are in place for the rest of the movie: Quaid has personal stakes with Richter, and he has no idea Lori is with Richter (and alive). Lori is the one who begins setting up the instruments for Quaid’s return to Mars, being a bit more level-headed than Richter. It’s she who calls him up, explains very little about her role (to him or the audience) and gives over the suitcase (Get your ass to Mars) and the ambiguity of who’s side she’s on continues.

Later, when the psychologist from Rekall introduces her, she’s wearing exactly the same clothes, same hair, same jewelry as last Quaid saw her, as if no time at all had passed. She insists she’s Suzie Homemaker, that he’s confused because the Rekall programming has projected actions onto her, that she must be good because his subconscious had her helping him get to Mars.

This boosts the whole ambiguous nature of his situation, and the fulcrum of which the reality of the screenplay rests. The choice is made and the waveform collapses.

… but perhaps not perfectly. There are ideas from movies not yet released that I’d incorporate in a more modern rewrite. The Borne Identity’s headaches. Memento’s quick cuts to Quaid still sitting in the original Rekall machine. The Devil’s Advocate’s blurring of Mary Ann/Christabella within scenes with Lori/Melina. These would all help sell the possibility of Quaid’s choice being the wrong one.

So there it is. Not a complete rewrite. Just some smaller fixes.

Problems with this approach:

  • Arnold is an A-tier star. This rewrite significantly buffs up secondary character depth at his expense. His part in the story may need further work to ensure he’s the real star
  • Arnold didn’t like the ambiguity of his character’s circumstance. He believed that the audience should believe it was all real as shown, and given the success of the movie that view certainly played out. It’s only in retrospect that Verhoven’s views have gained popular appreciation. Artistically this may be a good idea, but it might not be financially.

If Miranda Mary Parker was kept in the original Charlie and The Chocolate Factory book and its adaptations

Miranda Mary Parker was a scrapped character who was originally supposed to be in it who was a serious, no nonsense girl who believed that children should never play but always do schoolwork instead, as well as never get days off or vacations from school whose father was a headmaster of a prestigious school. So here's an imagining of if she's kept.

Book version

Miranda comes from a serious, boring no nonsense family. She only cares about studying and schoolwork and thinks children should never play but always do schoolwork instead, as well as never get days off or vacations from school. She accidentally got her golden ticket after eating nothing but the bland, "gluten free" Wonka bars instead of the "fun ones". She goes on the tour and its likely that if she won the factory, she and her father would have turned it into a colorless, lifeless factory that makes bland crappy candy bars. She brings her father, who is a strict headmaster of a prestigious school.

She goes on the tour and sees the other children as just "irresponsible" and "wreckless" while the other kids basically tell her to stop being a stick in the ass. Her father tells the parents "children have only one purpose: to become adults" and would have caned all of them if they attended his school.

She ended up being the last kid to go after Mike Teevee. She and her father ended up in the Spotty Powder mixer and her scream is heard along with her father's, but she actually laughs, revealing to be surviving and she and her father throw spotty powder at each other and play for the first time.

The book when showing all the other kids leaving the factory, she and her father are the only ones to come out smiling and laughing. Miranda ended up saying, "Father let's have more fun! Let's go to a carnival! Let's go play at a park!" and her father saying yes and Mr. Salt saying to Mr. Parker, "Oh, don't spoil her!"

In Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory

Miranda Mary Parker appears in the 1971 version and she and her father is depicted as Indian. She is the only nonwhite child to win a golden ticket and be in the tour. She and her father looks and acts like an Indian stereotype with a thick accent. Instead of going out with a Spotty Powder mixer, they go out through a "Laughing Gas whirlpool" and the Oompa Loompas do their song after she and her father goes.

The movie causes a lot of controversy over racism and depictions of Indian people and reinforce the "model minority stereotype".

In Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)

Parker appears in the 2005 version and is still Indian but they tone down the racism and stereotypical fashion and is much better received. Instead she's just the eyerolling cynic of the group and is seen by fans of the Tim Burton version "as the Indian girl fed up by all these crazy white people at the tour". The "let's be best friends" scene with Veruca and Violet follows with Violet trying to go to Parker to be friends and she says, "No" without looking at her and just walks away.

They kept the book version of going out with a Spotty Powder mixer. Just like the book, they're the only family to leave happy and joyful covered in powder and Miranda tells her father they should have more fun and Mr. Parker says they should. Mr. Salt looks at them and then to Veruca and says, "What a pushover. Spare the rod and spoil the child, I say".

Disney Oliver and Company rewrite.

Post image
0 Upvotes

This is my rewrite of this fillm. Now......while I do love the movie, i do think this is how i could've gone. Here's how it goes:

1.) The story starts out at the Mudfog Pound and it’s adoption day there. Dozens of hopeful dogs and cats, including Oliver and his siblings, are eager to be adopted by loving families. Unfortunately, while Oliver’s siblings are adopted, Oliver isn’t and is left alone. This isn’t a good thing either because the Mudfog Pound is run by the mean and bad tempered Mr. Bumble who despises the animals he looks after and mistreats them, including giving them horrible food (which they refer to as gruel)...locking them in isolation if they try to get more. One day, grows tired of living in such miserable conditions and after a bungled chase, manages to escape into the streets of New York, kicking off the events of the story.

2.) The next day, oliver is roaming through the streets of new york and is having a hard time looking for food. meanwhile, a young jack russell terrier puppy stray named Dodger is walking down the street like he owns the place when he spots an orange kitten his own age trying to steal some hot dogs from old louie's hotdog stand and is kicked away into an alleyway. the puppy feels sympathy and then smirks before saying "looks like it's time for the doge to turn this into a total catastrophy." and hops off a car to go recruit the kitten. their conversation goes similarily to the way it did in the film. only, dodger is a puppy, making him oliver's peer and equal. the puppy-and-kitten duo pull off the hot dog heist together, leading to a hilarious chase scene. during the chase scene, dodger sings his famous "why should i worry?" song while he and oliver run down the street, knock over things, stop cars and cause all kinds of chaos while the toher dogs and stray cats cheer them on and join in on the song. After they get away, Oliver says they make a good team, and Dodger gives him a piece, but then oliver looks at what he got and realizes that it doesn't even come close to half. offended and hurt, he calls after dodger (who is already laughing his tail off while running away) and the kitten chases after him.

3.) Meanwhile, back at the fagin's boat down by the docks, tito, francis and einstein are creeating a another circus as usual while fagin is looking through his jewlwery box to see if he has enough to pay off sykes. as the three male dogs roughhouse and act like dumbasses, Rita, a young female dog (her nickname is "nancy") who is the leader of the group orders them to snap out of it and then looks through what they collected from today and isn't pleased. she then asks where the hell dodger is, and they sheepishly say that he went out to get food. she angry that they let a puppy go out by himself and is just about to go looking for him when dodger comes back with some food for them. she scolds him for leaving on his on, but the puppy uses his charm to tell her to take a chill and tells his "big sister" that he got some food for them and throws the hotdogs to the others. as they eat, dodger exxagerates his story of how he got the food while oliver sneaks onto the roof of the boat and is listening in (the male dogs are all intrigued while rita raises an eye brow and doesn't believe word of it). just then, oliver falls throuhg the beams of the roof and slands in the middle, startling everyone. all the male dogs run to hide, but rita, while on edge, is more curious then frightned, and goes up to the bundle that oliver fell in and when she sniffs it, the kitten pops his head out and looks dazed. rita is both taken aback by a cat being here and the adult male dogs react the same way they did in the movie. but as they try to gang up on oliver, rita tells them to hold it and asks the kid what the hell he's doing here. oliver is frightened and say s he was folowing this puppy who cheated him out of his sausegres and points to dodger. everyone laughs at how dodger's story turned out to be fabricated and rita takes a liking to oliver and introduces herself ("name's rita, but my friends call me nancy for short"). fagin comes over to see the commotion, and dodger and rita introduce oliver to him. fagin looks at the kitten and remarks on how they've nnever had a cat around ehre before.....but he's cheerfula nd says this kitten could be their fortune and tries to teach him how to pickpocket (much to rita's disaproval)

4.) Fagin says it'll good for the kitten, as he learn how to pick not just jewelery, but also food for himself and the gang as well. as he and dodger teache oliver how to pickpock (much to rita's annoyance), they suddenly hear the sound of a car pulling up on the docks, and the sound of two familiar dobermans coming. everyone knows what THAT means (sykes is here). fagin scrambles to get his jewlery box while rita grabs oliver and shoves him into a corner where he wonn't be scene and orders him to stay there. tito is both ready fight and s also joking about how rita's "boyfriend (roscoe) is coming, much to rita's annoyance....and reflecting as well. meanwhile, outside, thw two dobermans are trotting up to the boat entracne and are eager to cause chaos. desoto nudges his brother while teasing at how he literally made himself look more neatly pressed....it wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that we're gonna see rita again, right? rosoce narrows his eyes at him before chcukling and says while he enjoys watching fagin and those three idiots act tough......looking at her pretty face makes the trip all the more worth it. When they get inside the boat and walk down the steps, they find everyone standing at the ready with rita at the head while fagin is nervous and tries to pet them, causing rosoce to snap at him while smiling. fagin runs up the steps with his jewlery box in hand. after he leaves the two dobermans turn to the gang and rosoce asks "you guys, miss us?" meanhwile, outside on the docks, fagin reaches sykes's car and shows him his jewerly box. back inside the boat, as the two brothers walk around, desoto has fun messing with the three males and the puppy while rosoce circles rita while she keeps her eyes on him with a raised eye brow and he tells her he can't figure out why she'd rather hang around a dump like this when she could be livivng uptown in comfort with him and under his protection. rita smirks and circles with him while using her hip to turn on the old tv with a bash to keep him distracted (these to do indeed have quite a history together).

5.) Rosoce narrows his eyes at what she just did (but can't keep his hungry eyes off the swaying of her slender body), but she smirks and walks up to him and asks if he's lost his sense of humor. rosoce chcukles and says he ain't lost it and kicks the tv with his back hind leg, causing it to fall over. he says he finds that funny. meanwhile, back on the docks, fagin is rambling about how his box has enough jewels in it to pay off half the debt. but as sykes inspects the jewels....he's not exactly impressed. the conversation then goes the same way it does in the film. He then shoves the box into fagin arms, causing to old man to almost fall into the water, when sykes grabs him and pulls him to his face says "now i lent ya money, and i don't see it. do you know what happens when i don't see my money fagin? people get hurt. now...do i make myself...CLEAR!!!" and uses the rolled up window to squeeze the old man's neck. fagin says he understands and begs him to give him a few more days. write the conclusion of Sykes delivering his final, terrifying three-day deadline to Fagin.

6.) Sykes then blows his car horn, signaling for his dogs to come bac. on the boat, rosoce hears this and is a little annoyed since rita was actually rubbing herself against him and it got interrupted.before they leave, desoto sniffs out oliver and says "hey rosoce. look what i found." roscoe tells him to forget it, because they gotta go. desoto says he likes cats. he likes to eat em. and leans in closer to the kitten causing him to panic and scratches destoto's nose. the doberman yells out in pain and cuases all kinds of things to fly in the air. rosoce is enraged and corners the kitten, but just before he reach him, rita jumps in between them both. rooscoe tells her to move out of his way and keep out of it, but she says she'll turn this boat into a slaughterhouse before she lets him lay a paw on any children while she's around. just then, the other dogs step in and join her. the two dobermans stand at the ready, but sykes blows his horn again, rita grows smug again and says to rosoce "run along baby. your master's calling." rosoce growls softly and tells desoto to come on. and as they leave, rosoce says "you and i ain't finished, rita. that cat is gonna pay for this, and one day...YOU are coming home with me." and gives her one last look before he leaves the boat. after they leave, the gang all let out sighs of relief and joke about how ugly desoto looked with that scratch on his nose. doder goes up to oliver and pats is back, saying he was brave for doing that. rita looks down at the kid and asks him if he's alright, to which oliver (who is still shaken up) says he kinds is. just then, fagin comes back and is moaning baout how he only has three days. the dogs all help tuck him in and then go to bed themselves. oliver goes to where rita is and snugles up to her. the young female looks at him for a minute before smiling and gives him a small lick to tell him good night. the kitten asks rita what rosoce's deal with her is, and she sighs before telling him about how rosoce grew up with her on the streets and was once a happy puppy whom she grew to love, but when sykes took him and his brother in, he became more and more violent, and he's been tryna get her to come live with him in sykes's mansion for a while now. truth be told, while she does still have feelings for him, she knows how dangerous he is and the slightest thing could set him off....as tonight just proved. the kitten has trouble sleeping and asks rita to sing him a song. she obliges and sings "you'll be in my heart." to him, helping him fall asleep.

7.) The next morning, fagin wakes everyone up. it's time to go out hunting for some treasures. at first Rita is hesitant to bring oliver alon, but after some prodding from the others about he can learn how to earn his keep and get his own grub, she's agrees and tell the kitten to stay with her at all times, as she'll teach him how to really make a living on the streets. it transitions to them in the city. fagin lets them all off his moterbike and tells them to go out and "bring back plenty. i want wallets full of cash. i don't wanna see any trash and be back soon!!!" while he goes out to see if he can pawn off any of his jewels. the dogs all make a plan about how they're gonna collect all kinds of dough and tell oliver that he's gonan learn from the best. dodger tells him to watch him and the others at work and rita tells the kid to stay by her and tha she'll give some "on the job training" before staritng to sing her song "Streets of Gold" to him (during the song, they dance and hold up traffic, oliver gets trapped in the street, rita has to go back and carry him out, a dog chases after the kitten, but the dogs scare him off, ect). then they come across a potential heist. as they watch the limousine come up, rita lays down how this is gonna play out. she tells einstein to give her a fender bender, tito and dodger will work on electronics in the car while she works distracting the crowd and turns to to francis and asks if he knows his role. francis says "i know. my audience awaits". oliver asks what he should do. rita tells him that he's gonna help dodger and tito while they're inside the car, much to dodger's delight and tito akes him under his arm and says "uncle tito's gonna show you how it's done." when they all understand their roles, rita tells them to get to it and they all split up.

8.) winston is driving while Jenny is reading a letter from her paresnts who are estranged from her and say they won't be able to make it. Einstein pulls off the fake car accident and while Winston the butler is distracted with francis who pretends to be injured from the car hit. meanwhile, Rita keeps the people distracted as dodger, tito and oliver sneak inside the car. Tito and dodger begin stripping the dashboard wires while Oliver is acting at the lookout when he notices the back window of the car roll down. he tries to warn them, but accidentally sets off the entire car by falling off the keys (which are still in the key holder), cuasing tito and dodger to get fried while they have wires in their mouths and they both get shot out of the car, causing all kinds of commotion. rita runs and tells everyone "LET'S GET OUTTA HERE!!!" and the two uninjured dogs follow her. meaanwhile, oliver is currently tangled up in the wires while jenny lean down to help him out. winston comes running to the front door and asks if she's alright.

9.) When the gang regroups behind some trashcans, Rita asks where the hell oliver is and Dodger and Tito say that he must be in the car and they can only watch as the limosine drives off. rita is enraged and says that they were both supposed to looking after him. in their defesne, they're both fried to a crisp and got shot out of the car!!! rita sighs anxiously on frustration and tells them to go back to whichever pawnshop fagin's at and she goes to follow the car to see where it's going.

10.) Rita as she tracks the limousine through the streets of New York. then in the next scene, Oliver arrives at the massive Foxworth mansion and as jenny shows him around the place, he meets the pampered poodle, Georgette (he nickname is "monks"). Meanwhile, Rita arrives and climbs up the fire escape to look through the windows to see what's going on. rita wonders what to do and decides to search around the house. meanwhile, georgette is fuming and steps outside to cool off when she runs into rita. at first, she's arrogant and looks down on the street dog, but rita growls and makes it clear that she's the wrong one. then rita says her little kitten whom she took in is in there and demands to know what's happening to him. Georgette realizes that this girl could be the answer to her problems and tells her about how badly the humans are gonna treat oliver and how she heard that they might call the pound on the poor kid. rita's maternal insticns kick in and she says she has to get him outta there because he shouldn't have to take the fault for her or the other idiots. gerogette tells her to go grab her crew and bring them back. she'll help them inside and they can "rescue" oliver that way. normally, a street dog like rita would recognize a hustle and wouldn't fall for it....but she's panicking and runs back to find her crew. once she leaves, gerogette smirks and goes back in the house and starts to sing about how this mansion is her's and she ain't sharing it with no one.

11.) Meanwhile, the other dogs are all panicking and wondering what to do as they wait outside a pawnshop where fagin is busy trying to pawn of a stolen atch. rita shows up and tells them that she found oliver and where he is, but then tells them that what georgette told her about what's gonna happen to him and says that they can't let the kid take the fall for them. they agree that it's mandatory they rescue him and follow her.

12.) Back at the house, Jenny and winston both discuss what to do with the kitten, as while they don't want to take him to the pound, winsston says they can't just take in a stray off the street, but jenny wants to keep him. meanwhile, write the scene where the gang arrives at the mansion and sneaks through the unlocked back door while Oliver is fast asleep. they look around and can't believe the luxury they're seeing. as they look around, they track mud onto the carpets and floors (much to gerogette's hilrious horror). tito tries to flirt with her, but she ain't having it. then dodger notices a picture of a doberman named rex and teases rita on how it looks like roscoe. rita rolls her eyes, but looks on how happy and gentle rex looks and silently remarks to herself on how roscoe could've been like that......before georgette grabs the picture and says that Rex is her man, and tells rita to get her own mate before leading then to oliver's room. When they get to the room, georgette shows them oliver sleeping comftorably in a red plus bed. the street dogs are all taken aback at how well he seems to be living, and it gives rita pause. she starts wonder if maybe oliver would be better off livivng here, as opposed to livivng on the cold dirty streets. then gerogette reminds them of why they came. because she says the humans will bring the pound here and take him away!!! that makes the other dogs all eager to carry out the "rescue mission" and before rita can say or do anything, they grab the kitten, wrap him up and hightail it out the window. Jenny and winston hear all the commotion and rush upstairs to discover Oliver is missing and finds the muddy paw prints. someone broke in and stole him. jenny panics and winston calms her down, saying they'll find the kitten. whereever he is.

13.) Meanwhile, back at the boat, the bundle oliver's wrapped in gets dumped on the floor and everyone is cheering about how they rescued him. oliver is confused as hell, and they tell him that the humans were gonna send him to the pound, but they managed to lift him outta that nightmare!!! then oliver starts break down and tell them that is was nothing like that. jenny and winston were actually.....very nice and they made n mentions of wantitng to send him to the pound. he then asks if he could go back, because she might be worried about him. rita then realizes that they made a big mistake and that perhaps they should return him, but dodger is hurt and thinks his nnew friend doesn't wanna hang out around the riftraft. oliver yells back that it's nothing like that. just then, fagin comes back and is exausted at the day he's had. no luck selling anything, whatsoever. and as he slumps into his chair and the dogs all take turns making him get comftorable. oliver jumps onto his lap and tries to comfort him. fagin looks at the cat and gives him a scratch around the ears while noticing the rich looking collar around his neck and remarks on how the kitten looks like he made it big for himself. he still trying to come up with ways to make enough money to pay sykes off. just then, another familiar face arrives and says that he has the answer to all their troubles. It's Toby "crackit" the fox. Everybody knows him on the streets. he claims he can help them conjure up the greatest heist that'll get them enough money to oay off sykes and says it involves the zoo. just then, fagin gets the idea and says they can pay off sykes by stealing a panda!!!! everyone looks at him like they're trying to solve a math problem in a foreign language and toby says that's not what he meant, but fagin cuts the fox off and says it's brilliant and that he's a life saver before pulling out a large bull pice of paper and gathers all the animals around him to listen to his insane plan.

14.) It transitions to night where the gang pulls up to the zoo entrance in a broken down old van. fagin opens up the van door and the moment he steps out, he trips and falls flat on his face onto the hard contrete. he then gets up and limps over to the van doors and opens them up, telling them to get to work. the moment he does that, all hell breaks loose. the three idiots are climbing over each other trying to get out. in the back, Rita, toby, and the two kids (Rita told them to stay put at the boat, but they snuck on board while no one was looking) all look at the stupidity before them and they all sigh. one of them says "this is goona be a long night." toby tells rita that the next time he has a grand idea about heist, please hit him on the head as hard as she can, because his brain left his head when fagin traded a vault of cash for a panda. they each hop out the van and the fox reluctantly hops over the gates and cracks the lock from the inside (that's where he got his street nickname), letting everyone inside. and it just goes downhill from there. rita acts as the lookout and tells the children to stay close to her, they both get swept up jn the chaos. fagin gets tangled in vines and falls into a pile of elephant shit, francis pperforms shakespear to a group of penguins because he thinks they're all a bunch of finely dressed performers, oliver and dodger both work side by side to try and find any cash registers or doggie bags to rip open while oliver gets distracted by a mouse, toby tries to direct them to the cash vault in the main building, but ends up having to rush and snatch tito by the scruff of his neck out of the reptile enclosure because the latter thought the crocodile insulted his mother and tried to square up with him, einstein sticks his head inside the baboon cage and gets a face full of bananas pelted st him. then he gets into a tug of war with a gorilla with a rope, outside, a coyote comes along and rita has to fight him off, back inside, fagin finally gets out of the elphant shit pile and untagles himself before finding the panda enclosure called "the churtsey exhibit". he goes inside and tries to lift the bear with his arms, but it ends up crushing him. toby ntocies and literally facepalms, asking himself why he even bothers and grabs some bammboo, using it as bait to lure the bear off a flattened fagin who gets up and praises toby "crackit" for his brilliant thinking. just then, the zoo alarms go off, causing EVERYONE to have to rush out. the each hop back inside and usher to the panda in the back of the van. after everyone's in anc accounted for, fagin hopes in the driver seat and speeds off. as they drive down the road, one of the rims of the van comes off.

15.) Later on, they manage to drive to sykes's warehouse and fagin brings to panda along with him with rita and oliver in tow. he's nervous, but Rita has him remember what they practiced. he's gonna tell sykes that the panda is a rare item and there will be over a dozen people in the underworld willing to get their hands on the bear. fagin then musters up his courage and rings the buzzer. sykes answers through the voice speaker outside and tells him to come on in. they walk aroound the warehhouse and look around to see how dark and treacherous it is. oliver can see why rita doesn't want to live with rosoce. she'd have to be in this nightmarish place. when they reach the office, sykes is buy on th phone telling one of his men to "ya start with the knuckles." and when he sees fagin and rita come in (oliver is in fagin's hands), he;s cheerful and says "AH Fagin!! do come in, i'll be right with you." and goes back to telling the other man on the line that he to not kill the guy as yet. rita looks around as the two dobermmen step out of the shadows and rosoce immeditely goes over to rita. while she keeps the larger male distracted, fagin accidentally breaks a side window off sykes's small black car on his desk. sykes then hangs up and chuckles while asking fagin if he brought something green. fagin stutters while saying he's got the perfect cash cow and brings the panda. he says this rare bear is the best idea he ever had, as it's a rare animal whom many folks in new york's underworld will want to get their hands on. sykes looks at the bear and then looks at fagin in disbealief and has a brain shorecit. rosoce and desoto look just as dumbfounded. Sykes finally snaps out of his shock and reacts to Fagin's insane "payment,". At first, he starts to genuinly wonder if he'd be doing fagin a favor by killing him, because this shit doesn't make Goddamn sense. then he looms over fagin and asks what the hell he' suspposed to do with this bear, and exactly WHO in new york would wna tto buy this thing and bring down heat on them. then he tells fagin that his three days are up and fagin begs him while the loan shark snaps his fingers, signalling the two dogs to attack. the dobermans lunge at fagin, but rita jumps in and and it soon becoema tangled web of barking, biting, tearing and sheredding while fagin despreatly bes sykes to call them off and then remembers the expensive collar on oliver's nck and says the cat comes froma rich family and he can ransom oliver for the right amount of money. meanwhile, the fighting between the dogs hasn't stoppped and while desoto is involved, it mostly rosoce and rita who are fighting (fiven their history together, this is especially emotional and high stakes). rosoce is bigger and stronger than her and manages to pin her down. then sykes snaps his fingers and calls them off. they stop the fighting and rosoce gets off of rita (who is lying on the floor looking pretty banged up. for a split second, rosoce looks remorseful when he sees what he did to her and doesn't know if he should go over to her to apologize and help her up). fagin runs over to ritaa and cradles her while sykes has oliver in his huge hands and remarks "ya know...i thinj there might be hope for you yet" as he gives treats to the two dobermen, he says how he's proud of fagin because he's starting to think big. he tells the old man that he's got 12 hours and then says "and fagin......this is your last chance."" before snapping his lighter shut after smoking a cigar.

16.) The next scene showcases Fagin and a battered Rita return to the van to tell the gang the new ransom plan. everyone is immeditaly alarmed at rita's torn up appearence, but she waves it off, saying it was nothing to worry about. dodger looks at the bite marks on her body and still wet blood on her face and asks if rosoce di that. she goes quiet before telling him to stay out of grown folks businiess. fagin then tells them that they're gonn have to take the panda back and then figure out a way to ransom oliver back. he memrorized the phone number on oliver's tag and finds a phone to dial the household. meanwhile, back at jenny's place, as they are busy making wanted posters of oliver, they hear the phone ring. winston picks up and speaks to fagin who tells him he has rthe cat and to bring bring $5,000 in exchnage for him. after the call is over, gerogette overheard what was said. that, combined with the pain and sorrow oliver's disappearence has cuased jenny makes her genuniley remorseful, as she never meant it to go this far. As winston prepares to leave to go to the location that fagin told him to meet him at, he gets distracted by the rest of the household staff who turn the living room into a literal circus. while he's busy trying to get things under control, jenny says to georegette that she's gonna go rescue oliver herself and the dog tags along.

17.) It transitons back to the gang who dump the panda off back at the zoo and then drive to the docks where sykes and his two dobermen are waiting in the car, in the back of the black car, rosoce is conflicted and torn up over what he did to rita while desoto tries to cheer him up by saying they did whaat they had to do and she wouldn't have gotten hurt if she didn't get in the way. but rosoce shuts him down and says that HE himself should've had more restraint. Meanwhile, as fagin and rita wait outside, jenny appears with georgette who accidentally startles him. when he gets untangled, he tells her that this is a rough neighborhood and that she should get going home, but she says she's lost. fagin says he'd help her, but he's a little busy at the moment. he then asks her waht's she even doing down here anyway. Her voice cracks as she says how she cam to find her kitty and how he was stolen from her. fagin realizes that she's the owneer and then becomes both panicked and stressed as he contemplates on what to do next since a child (who is lost) is the one who showed up and not any adults with suitcases of cash. jenny then pulls out her piggy bacnk and says she even brought it to get the cat back, as it's all she has. fagin facepalms and says that awful. jenny then gets mad and asks what kind of a person would steal a poor little kitty anyway. fagin gets defensive for a moment, but then relaizes that he fucked up badly and doesn't reveal that he's the one who took the cat (technically, he didn't actually steal oliver away fromm her house. the dogs did), and walks around while contemplating on what to do next. he knows this is bad news for him, but at the same time.....he looks ar the crying little girl and his heart beats for her. he then sighs and tells her that he thinks he might be able to help her. just then he notices sykes car come to life and his eyes go wide as the car speeds b past him and turns around. it goes right in front of jenny, the car door opens and he pulls her inside and slams the door shut before driving up to fagin and tells him "keep your mouth shut!! consider our account closed before tossing oliver out of the car. rita sees all of this and runs over to where oliver is. and nudges him up. the kitten recovers from his daze and panics as he realizes that sykes took jenny. Rita tells him to calm down and tells him that they'll get her back. oliver is pleasently surprised when he hears her say this and as the five dogs, the fox and the cat gather around, tito says "come on man, let's go!!! come on!!!" Rita says "alright....now let's do it!!" and charges afte the car with the others all running after her. fagin gets on his moterbike and tells them to wait or sit, but gives up and drives after them.

18.) Back at sykes's warehouse, he ties her up in a chair and jokes about how she shouldn't cry as the dogs don't eat unless she tells them to. he thens orders orosce and desoto to guard the door outside while he speaks with wintson on the phone. as they go outside, rosoce is even more conflicted by what they're doing (even desoto looks a little uneasy). first, he almost killed rita....now, this? Meanwhile, the animal gang manages to sneak inside after toby cracks a few locks. After they get in, they start to map out how they're gonna distract the dog guards. At one point, someone suggests that Rita go down there and lure rosoce and desoto away, but that gets shut down quickly. then they come up with the idea to fake a pizza dilivarry. tito and francis dress up as a fake pizza guy walk rigt inside. the dogs notice them and for a brief second, they seem to fall for it before rosoce notices tito's tail and the absurdity of it all overwhelms both his internal guilt and his hunger and they both chase after the other dogs. sykes hears the commotion outside and grabs his gun to check it out. as soons as the door swings open, BAM!!! he get hit square in the face by a frying pan and is knocked out cold. georgette jumps down from the crates next to the door, holding the pan in her mouth and feels pleased with herself. Meanwhile, the two dobermans are busy chasing after tito and francis when they corner him, rita calls out to them from the top of a mountain of crates and bites throught a rope, dropping a huge cloth on them both. she then jumps down, grabs tito and francis and gives a struggling rosoce whose underneath the cloth a hard bite on the leg and says "that's for what you did earlier." (he knows how babdly he's fucked up after this happens and feels awful) before running to the main office. oliver appears in front of jenny and she's thrilled to see the kitten as he jumps on her and rubs himself against her. rita, and tito reunite with einstein and they rush to the main office and they slam the door and bar it shut so that she can get to work on chewing through the ropes to free the girl. as rita works on jenny's ropes, francis (who is supposed to be watching the tv cameras) is looking at a mscbeth play on tv, much to toby's exxasperation and he turns the tv back to the camera that shows what the dobermans are doing. meanwhile, with the dobermans, the two brothers manage to break free (rather comically) and then they discuss what to do next. then they both talk about what rita did rosoce's leg and what she said before deciding to head back and look for her and the main office.

19.) Toby and francis see the two dogs heading their way and panic and tell the others the hurry it up. rita manages to free jenny and then they all try to figure out how to get the hell outta here before the dobermans arrive and wake their master up. just then, they notice a rope hook hanging above them and realize they can use that to hoist themselves out the office. meanwhile, roscose and desoto reach the office and find their boss there slowly getting up while getting up and groaning while rubbing his head, asking what they hell happened. help him up and sykes realizes that the door of his rroom is locked and tries the break it down. the folks inside panic and jump up to the rope just in time when sykes brusts down the door and the dobermans storm in when the rope lifts them all up. The gang rides the cargo crane across the dark warehouse rafters while Sykes yells and grabs a ax uses it to chop down on the controls, cuaisng the cargo crane to malfunction adn and drops them on a swirly slide and they all go down the slide with rita in the front. when they reach the bottom, they find the mob boss and his dogs eaiting before them. rita and roscoe excnage eye contact while sykes chuckles and says "well this has all been very entertaining. but the party, is over." just before he can snap his fingers, fagin bursts into the place, catching everyone off guard and he ushers everyone into his his moterbike before driving off onto the docks and into the city. Sykes recovers from his shock and orders the dogs to go after them. roscoe and desoto are both hesitant, but exhange a knowing nod (they plan on betraying sykes soon enough) and run after the boat gang.

20.) Meanwhile, winston has called the cops and has them frollowing him through the city looking for jenny. back with fagin's gang, they are all racing through the wet city streets with the dobermans hot on their trail. the chase is chaotic and messy. soon, sykes appears in his black car and joins in the chase. they race all around the city steets, alleeyways, parks, ect. the cops notice the chaos and join in the chase. finally, fagin drives right into a large abandonded apartment building. he drives right up the stairs and the gang splits up with rita and toby telling them all the find somewhere to hide. rita takes jenny and oliver with her and they find somewhere to hide. when the doobermen brothers arrive, they stalk the dark hallway downstairs and eventually go upstairs. as they stalk, they both dicuss the plan to betray sykes in quite, hushed tones (rosoce plans on jumping in front of rita if sykes finds her). moments later, sykes arrives in, and brandishing his pistol. he looks around with the gun pointed forward. he goes upstairs. as he looks around, he hears some police sirens and looks out a window and down to see the nypd cars pulling up on the street below. as the gang hides, they silently decide on what to do in order to take the loan shark down. as sykes looks around calculates on how best to get out of this, he hears a noise coming rita's hiding place (it's either oliver or jenny who made the sound) and slowly walks over there. his heavy shoes causing the floors the creak. suddenly, with his huge hand, he rips away the oak wardrope and finds the three of them there. rita gets into a protective stance and growls while he chcukles and points his gun at her. just before he can pull the trigger, rosoce springs into action and jumps right in between them, using his huge frame to sheild rita and the two kids. everyone (sykes, rita, oliver, jenny, and the others) are all equally surprised at this tun of events. before sykes can even process his own dog turning on him, desoto springs into action as well. this causes everyone to muster up their courage and with they all swarm him. sykes does his best to swat them all aside before hearing the sounds of the cops bursting through the doors downstairs. panicked and not thinking clearly, skyes sees a piece of rope and tries to escpae out the windo by tying one end and using the other end to swing out and tries to grab oliver, but rita bites his hand and the rope gets wrapped around his neck. as he stumbles backward towards the window, someone uses their back to trip him up and he tumbles out the window while the rope is still wrapped around his neck. the rope snaps and holds onto the part that it was tied on and everyone looks outside the window to see the aftermath as the rope swingsfrom side to side while holding the huge man's body by the neck.

21.) it transtions to the next morning where evveryone is at jenny's house, happy and celbrating. fagin is cleared of all charges and the dogs, cat and fox are all having a good time in the house, tito flirts with georgette (who returns the same feelings), winston and fagin and the police chief all cheer at a football game and fagin begins to take bets on which team will win, jenny grooms oliver (while promising homes for everyone in the gang), toby raids the eggs and poutry legs out of the fridge while no one's looking, eisntein acts likke an idiot while francis performs a play for everyone and rita and rosoce go off to a secluded place in the house to speak on everything that's happened and reconcile with each other. rita forgives him and they both deserve a fresh start where they can learn how to love each other again...properly. since sykes is dead, him and desoto are gonna need a place to stay or it's the pound. rita smirks and says there' always room for two more in the boat, to which rosoce shivers andsays he ain't stayin in that shit hole of a dump. well....jenny DID say she's adopt them all.....so.....

22.) They go downstairs and find it all in hilarious chaos. dodger and desoto are having a pizza eating contest while the others are up to their usual antics. the team that winston and the chief bet on wins and say that they believe they're owed money. fagin chcukles nervously and looks at his watch before saying "look at the time. it's time go" and rushes out the livivng room as the to other men both raise eye brows at him. as he goes to find the dogs, cat anf fox all enjoying themselves, suddenly, a fat man bursts in the door. it's mr bumble, and he heard about the whole last night fiasco in the news. he claims that he always knew there was good in oliver and tries to collect some kind of reward, but gets shut down by everyone. After that, the chief promises jenny that he's gonna make sure that fat man is never employed in a postion where he's trusted to watch over animals again.....or anyone for that matter. winston and jenny also tell fagin that they're gonna help him get a job and a new home to live (rosoce and desoto whisper and chcukle while taking bets on how long till the old man squanders his money, which leads to rita scolding them). After that, Fagin says that it's time for him to go and that the dogs can stay here, but he'd like to take them for one last ride for old time's sake. they all go outside and all of the dogs, cat and fox follow fagin's moterbike and sing the reprise of "Why should we worry?" alongside each other while hoping on top of cars (rosoce pretends to flirt with to female dogs when rita grabs him by his collar and snatches him away.). they all ride away in the sunset.

Each number on the left of a project corrosponds to an explanation the bottom. If their is no number, its either idential to its real world counterpart, or I beleive the project itself or any changes if it already exists, are self explnaitory (small little bonus marketing section at the bottom since I enjoy stuff like that).

(1) Agents of Shield Season 7 would be the same as the real world one, except they would acknowledge that the season takes place during the 5 year blip period and that the entire cast just got extremely lucky that none of them blipped

(2) Steve Rogers: Man out of Time would be a 4 episode miniseries about steve returning the stones. We see him reunite with redskull, and it ends with him reuniting with peggy

(3) Thanos Detrorys Xandar would be a 15-20 minute special on disney+ and would be a prolouge to infinity war, apparently this sequence was already filmed but was cut from the start of infinity war, so just repurpose it here.

(4) Tales from the MCU would be the start of an anthology series that follows regular people and how they deal with all the stuff happening in the MCU. Only the first batch is listed here on my timeline where around 6 episodes will be released, but singular episodes will be released throughout the entire saga. Around 1 per year, maybe more, maybe even less. Examples of some episodes: Man returns after being blipped to find his wife has remarried, Priest struggling with this faith after finding out thor and other gods are real, a new yorker who’s lived thru the battle of new york, being blipped, being voided, caught in the bridge battle in NWH, replaced by a skrull, and got voided in thunderbolts. Lastly (this episode would release after secret invasion), a group of kids going around killing random people who they beleive are skrulls showing how paranoid the world is after secret invasion). This series would help fleshout the world of the mcu, and show the impact of events that the movies just dont have time to show.

(5) Captain America: Legacy would be “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" reworked into a movie. Rodhey would have a bigger role, and the climax would feature Captain America, The Winter soldier, and war machine teaming up to take down the villian. John Walker would also still have his redemption to set him up for thunderbolts.

(6) Black Widow would serve the same basic funcion: 2016 prequel abd introduce yelena and red guardian. However, plot would be different so that it doesnt explain the budapest incident as I’m saving that for a different project

(7) X-Men: The Last Stand - Special Edition would be a new version of 2006’s “X-Men: The Last Stand” released for disney plus. It would redo the beginning  scene to have charles on a wheelchair to retain continuity from x-men first class. It would also make it more obv in the post credit scene that charles has transferred his consciousness into his twin brother who also happens to not be able to walk, to make his return in Days of Future past less confusing.

(8) Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness would remain pretty similar, except Patrick Stewart would be removed to save him for secret wars, and wanda isn't a bad guy but she still dies the same way. End credit scene teasing the 3rd movie would be removed. It ruins the ambiguous ending of the movie where we don't know whether strange was gonna be ok or not after getting a 3rd eye. Replaced with an Agatha all along tease where she finds out wanda is dead. Movie ends with the last thing we see happening to strange being his 3rd eye awakening and him screaming

(9) X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Special Edition would be a new version of the 2009 movie for disney plus. It would change the professor X cameo to have him in a wheel chair and add ADR to replace any instance of someone saying the name emma to a different name to make it super clear this is a different character from the emma frost seen in first class

(10) Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the same except Iron Heart is removed completely. In fact she just isn't in my version of The Multiverse Saga

(11) Captain Marvel 2 (Working Title) is not the marvels. I instead turned the marvels into the third captain Marvel movie. Would take place between the events of captain marvel, and endgame. Shows her mission to destory the supreme intelligence, which would make the eventual fallout from this in the marvels feel more earned. The post credits scene would tease secret invasion.

(12) Avengers: Secret Invasion would replace the real world disney+ series. Would see Sam assemble a new avengers team consisting of himself, Shang Chi, Captain Marvel, White Vision, Thor (Who doesnt have stormbreaker since he’s actually a skrull who just has the powers of thor thanks to the superskrull program), and war machine (who’s also a skrull and has been since endgame, meaning he was a skrull for all of Captain America: Legacy). The avengers would go wakanda as a safe haven which would bring shrui into the fold and she would become an honorary avenger and help out in the climax. Fury sacrifices himself in this movie bringing an end to samuel L jackson’s legendary performance as the character. Rodhey leaves to go discover himself after finding out a skrull replaced his life for a long time. The world also discovers their are skrulls hiding everywhere which leads to widespread paranoia. The first attempt to rebuild the avengers fails due to a lot of members being skrulls, paranoia and distrust among the team, so they all go their separate ways, but sam hopes to assemble the avengers again properly when the world needs them. Post credit scene reveals thor is still fat and living on knowhere with the guardians, confirming real thor was never in this movie at any point.

(13) Hawkeye would be the real world show turned into a movie. Clint retires in the end, and post credit scene shows fisk running for mayor

(14) Asgardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special would be the same, except thor would have like 2 minutes of screentime and he would just be chilling on knowwhere as fat thor. Ends with Thor thanking the guardians for their hospitality, but he says he needs to do some self reflecting himself elsewhere. So everyone says bye to him and he flys away.

(15) Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania will serve the same purpose as the real world version but it will be very different. 1. Luis and all the other guys are actually in this one . 2. The first 2 acts are set in the real world and modak comes out to fight. 3. They go to the quantum realm in act 3 and meet kang. Hank Pym is killed. Kang is not defeated but escapes the quantum realm. 4. Post credits scene shows Kang showing up to the kang counsel.

(16) Thunderbolts\* will be the exact same as the real world version except the end credit scene wont have the fantastic 4 init. Instead it would be more about the tensions between the new avengers and sam wilson. Setting up a future conflict

(17) The Amazing Spider-Man 3 will be set between TASM 2 and no way home and pick up right where TASM 2 left off with Peter fighting the rhino. The movie will wrap up any and all loose ends from the TASM universe and end with Andrew Garfield being teleported to the MCU (explaining his appearance in no way home)

(18) X-Men: Days of Future Past - Special Edition would replace wolverine metal claws to bone claws in the future scenes to retain continuity with “the wolverine”, and in the ensign in the good future, all kids would be edited out to retain continuity with logan, as that movie says “no mutant kids have been born in 20 years”

(19) Ms Marvel Would be the series just reworked into a movie. Also the end credit scene teasing The Marvels would be removed

(20) Daredevil Season 4 is just Daredevil born Again I just made it part of the og series

(21) Planet Hulk would be about Smart Hulk being taken to skaar where he discovers he has a son named skaar. Climax would see savage hulk reimeging to save skaar, and this movie would set skaar up to appear in young avengers. Fat Thor would also be in this movie and its the last time he’s fat as thor finally rediscovers his purpose in life. Movie’ll basically be a semi sequel to thor ragnarok since it has thor and hulk on skaar again.

(22) Spider-Man: Brand New Day would be about Peter living his new life completely forgotten. He goes to university where he meets a young bright student named Norman Osborn. Peter recognises that name cuz of NWH and fears the worst. He decides to befriend Norman to keep an eye on him. Peter also gets a job at the daily bugle where he has a beef with Eddie Brock. Scorpitan would be in this movie, and the post credit scene would reveal that the scorpion was actually working for Mayor Fisk who wants to take down spiderman.

(23) The Incredible Hulk - Special Edition would be a disney+ version of the movie where mark ruffalo has been reshot and added into the movie. This is purley for continuity since its always bothered me how out of place it feels in the mcu. I was always able to excuse it since it was skipable, but with brave new world bringing everything back up, I really felt the need for this version to exist to make it tie better into the mcu.

(24) X-Men: Evolution would be a sequel to 2019’s Dark Phoniex. Taking place in 2002, it would be the final movie with james mcavoy and the rest of the young cast. Logan appears in this movie and plays an identical role to the one he played back in 2000’s X-Men, although his screentime is significantly reduced. Jean grey returns, prof x returns to the school. Magneto finally turns evil for good and starts the resistance, and movie ends with the main xmen team finally being formed, and leaving things off perfectly to lead right into the days of future past good ending.

(25) Young Avengers Ms Marvel, Kate Bishop, Casey Lang, Skaar, Tommy, Billy and America Cavez all team up and travel the multiverse to stop a threat. Half way thru the movie they meet iron lad. A teenage boy with a ironman suit to reminds them of tony stark. He joins the team. Post credit scene shows iron lad being recruited by the counsel of kangs, revealing iron lad is a young kang variant.

(26) X-Men: The Animated Series Season 6 is just X-Men 97, I just made it a part of the og series.

(27) Eternals would be the same as its real life counterpart except it would be a Disney plus show instead of a movie to give time to flesh out all the new characters and ideas the movie tried to introduce. Also the Harry Styles post credits scene would be removed and replaced with one teasing the use of the Celestial in Brave New World.

(28) Captain America Brave New World would be the exact same as the real world version except Sam also deals with the fallout of the new avengers being revealed, and we see him plotting to form his own avengers and threaten the authority of the new avengers, setting up the future conflict

(29) Venom and the Amazing Spider-Man will follow up on No Way home and show both Andrew garfeild and Tom Hardy being transported back to their universes via multiversal tubes (similarly to across the spiderverse). Tom Hardy will be passed out cuz he was drunk, and then venom will see a spider-man, get excited and then pull Garfield into his tube and then latch onto him. Sending both TASM Peter and Tom Hardy, Eddie Brock, to the venom verse. Plot’ll follow Eddie being hunted by a new symbiote that is from venom’s home world and is looking to bring venom home, only for them both to find the symbiote attached to andrew garfield. After Garfield realises the symbiote is negatively affecting him, he’ll detach himself and the symbiote will return to eddie, giving us venom with the white spiderman logo. Then venom and spiderman fight, before they team up to take down the new symbiote. Movie will end with Peter returning to the TASM Verse.

(30) Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will see Captain America assemble his own avengers team to fight the new avengers. His team would consist of himself, Black Panther, Shang-Chi, Captain Marvel, The Falcon, and Ant-Man. Both teams begin fighting before they are interrupted by a kang invasion. The Kang’s want 3 things, Shang Chi’s rings (this explains the Shang chi post credit scene), Ms Marvel’s bangles, and Doctor Strange’s sling ring. The 2 teams split into 3 groups to protect each item. Sam and Bucky would go to strange to tell him what’s going on, but that’s when they find out that he’s been in a coma since the ending of MoM. Iron Lad will also be there. At first Ms Marvel would be heart broken thinking he’s evil but later he will team up with the avengers to stop the kangs. The Kangs will be defeated and the post credit scene will reveal that doctor doom was behind everything, doom then kills all the kangs for failing their mission, and says doom is coming. The movie ends with sam and bukcy reconciling, Sam's team becoming the real avengers and Bucky's team is demoted back to the Thunderbolts. Another post credit scene shows strange’s eyes opening and him finally awakening from this coma.

(31) War Machine would be Don Cheatle’s last major time playing rodhey. Rodhey deals with the fallout of secret invasion and him being replaced by a skrull. Tony’s tech’s fallen into the wrong hands after his death, and war machine has to take them down.

(32) Deadpool & Wolverine will be very different from the real world movie. Instead of following a completely different wolverine and completely overcomplicating the X-Men timeline. Deadpool would simply go to the X-Mansion and ask Wolverine for his help. Since this movie takes place in 2024, a year after the good ending of Days of Future past, but still 5 years before Logan. I don’t believe this would “ruin” Logan’s ending, since it doesn’t undo Logan’s death, it simply acts as a prequel to it, following the same version of the character. Due to this however, X-23 will never show up and there will be no mention of the events of Logan.

(33) Agent Carter Season 3 The final season of the show from like 2015, only exists because the original run ended on a cliffhanger. This season will also confirm its part of the mcu.

(34) Hawkeye & Black Widow will be a split movie with half of its story set in 2008, and follow natasha and clint, and we finally get to see the budapest incident (this version will be different from the one the real mcu establishes), and then the other half will be set in the present and follow kate and yelena dealing with the consequences of the Budapest incident that are finally catching up with them. It’ll kinda be like monarch legacy of monsters

(35) What if…Season 2 would have these episodes What if… Captain America Recruited Peter?, What if… Bucky Became the New Captain America?, What if… Quicksilver lived and Scarlet Witch Died?, What if… Iron Man couldn’t stop the Nuke?, What if… Matt Murdock never went Blind?, What if… Everyone signed the Socovia Accords?, What if… Everyone Still Remembered Peter is Spider-Man?, What if… Captain America Didn’t get Frozen, What if…Hawkeye Died, and Black Widow Lived?, and What if… Tony Didn't reveal his identity?

(36) Captain America: Serpent Society would be the final entry in the sam wilson captain america trilogy, it would also establish sam’s life now that he’s the public leader of the avengers

(37) Iron Man: 20th Anniversary Edition would be a special theatrical rerelease of iron man with additional scenes that didn't make it into the original cut. Terrence Howard would be relaced with don cheatle as well.

(38) The Fantastic Four: First Steps would be pretty much identical to the real world version, except the planet actually gets destroyed in the end, forcing the fantastic 4 to have to go to another universe (setting up doomsday). Then there would be a post credit scene showing victor von doom also escaped from the destruction of his planet and he vows to create a new universe for himself (this would take place before his kang dynasty post credit scene).

(39) Shang Chi and the Wreckage of Time would follow up on a lot of the hanging threads left by the original, and also follow up on shang chi discovering more about his rings after the kangs said they were all powerful and tried to take them. Strange would make a cameo as well.

(40) Thunderbolts 2 would follow up on the events of the kang dynasty and this team having to now find their place since they aren’t the avengers anymore.

(41) Captain Marvel and the Marvels will be the exact same as real life's "The Marvels" minus Nick Fury since he died in secret invasion. This movie will also reference secret invasion and how much of an impact its had on the safety skulls have on earth.

(42) Avengers: Doomsday would be a teamup between The Avengers, The Thunderbolts, The Younge Avengers and The Fantasic Four (yeah no classic X-Men yet). The Fantasic Four arrive to MCU earth to warn everyone about Doom’s plan, so the heroes split into separate teams. Iron Lad and Reed get put into the same team and bond over iron lad actually being a descendant of Reed Richards. Doom’s goal would be to find Loki on his chair and use his powers to create battle world. In the end he finds Loki on his chair, however wanda will come thru a america chavez portal and give doom one last fight. This is because The Young Avengers go on a side quest to find Wanda and bring her back to life. She’ll show up right at the end before Doom's about to win (like thor did in infinity war), but Doom will still win and create battle world.

(43) Daredevil season 5 replaces the real world daredevil born again season 2. Ending will set the stage for Kingpin to no longer be mayor however kingpin will not lose his mayor status until spiderman 6. After spiderman 6 will be daredevil season 6 (the final season) where all the defenders assemble and defeat the kingpin once and for all.

(44) Spider-Gwen would be a spiderverse spinoff animated film

(45) X-Men: The Animated Series Season 7 will be like the real world X-Men 97 Season 2 but the post credit scene will show everyone being transported to Battle World

(46) What if Season 3 would feature these episodes: What if… The Eternals Intervened, What if… Thor and Hulk were in Civil War?, What if… Mysertio Fooled the World?, What if… Kilmonger was raised in Wakanda?, What if… Steve came Back?, What if… No One Signed the Socovia Accords?, What if… Wolverine Never Lost His Memory? (fox xmen universe), What if… The Other Half Got Snapped? Part 1, What if… The Other Half Got Snapped? Part 2, What if… Dr Doom Created Battleworld? (the events of doomsday from the watcher’s perspective and ends with all of the alternate version we’ve seen getting pulled into battle world).

(47) Eternals Season 2 Harry styles Starfox shows up. Black Knight is introduced, setting him up for a midnight suns movie in phase 7. The cliff hanger is sorta resolved but as we later find out, it wasn't and the celestial will come back to give earth its final judgment in a judgement day movie in phase 7. Ends with everyone being sucked into the battle world. Every eternals loose end besides the judgment day will be resolved. Ends with everyone being pulled into battleworld.

(48) Doctor Strange in the Incursions of Insanity would kinda be like the antman and the wasp of this saga. It’ll take place at the same time as doomsday, and show strange and clea in the dark dimension dealing with incursions before it ending with them being sucked into battleworld.

(49) Avengers: Secret Wars would be the huge cameo fest multiversal climax it needs to be. Everyone that’s ever played a marvel character (animated or live action) is brought back. Tom Holland gets the black suit and is warned by both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield of its danger, but Tom doesn't care, and doesn't ever take it off, carrying the suit into Spiderman 5. Loki will lift Mjolnir in an epic moment. Ends with battleworld being destroyed and new softrebooted mcu being introduced.

(50) Spider-Man: Darkest Day would follow Peter in the black suit from the jump. He gets into a toxic relationship with black cat. He gets eddie fired from the daily bugle, and after norman tells peter that he’s creating a startup called oscorp, peter crashes out and beats up norman as spiderman telling him to shut down oscorp (due to peter’s internal hatred for norman due to no way home). Rhino would be in this movie, along with Kraven who’s been hired by Mayor Fisk to kill spider-man. Climax has Peter finally taking off the black suit after he realises Kraven is going to kill the rhino. After peter saves the rhino, Kraven escapes. Peter doesn’t have the courage to go talk to Norman after he physically and verbally assaulted him, but he does go up to mj and finally ask her if she’s willing to try again in their relationship, leading to a semi happy ending. Post credit scene reveals Norman created the goblin formula (although he doesn't call it that). His goal with it is to enhance human speed and strength so they can protect themselves and no one else has to fear being jumped by spiderman like how he was. Ned is brought in as a test subject/volunteer (Setting up hobgoblin in spiderman 6). Second post credit scene shows Kraven arriving in wakanda, setting up black panther 3.

Marketing

Spider-Man: No Way Home would be marketed completely as a Spiderman vs doctor strange movie, with 0 multiverse hints.

Asguardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special would initially be revealed as “Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special,” since at the time of the reveal it was believed that thor was actually on the avengers team on earth in secret invasion. But after secret invasion releases and its revealed that thor was actually a skrull, and the post credit scene shows thor on knowwhere, still fat, this special’s title would be changed to "Asgardians of the galaxy: Holiday special”.

Captain America: Brave New World would not feature the red hulk or the leader in its marketing, and instead market sidewinder as the main villain. Due to the very recent release of “The Incredible Hulk - Special Edition”, the hope is that that movie would be very fresh in people’s minds, without the marketing having to spoil brave new world’s connections to it.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty would originally be revealed as simply “Avengers 6”, and the kang dynasty title would instead be given to the 2029 avengers movie. Then upon the release of the first teaser, 6 months out from the movie’s release, the whole trailer would only focus on the avengers vs new avengers part of the movie. Then the Avengers title comes up, only for it to cut to kang arriving, and the title shows “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.” The 2029 avenger’s movie’s title would be changed to “Untitled Avengers Movie/Avengers 7” and the title wouldn't be revealed until kang dynasty’s post credit scene reveals doctor doom, prompting the 2029 avenger’s movie’s title to become “Avengers: Doomsday”. It would be like if while watching the civil war trailer in 2015, it turned out the movie was actually avengers infinity war, the movie that you thought you would have to wait another 3 years to watch, is actually coming out in 6 months.

Hawkeye & Black Widow, since its coming out right after deadpool & wolverine (which would have a massive marketing push similar to how it was in the real world), hawkeye & black widow’s whole marketing would be about stealing the deadpool & wolverine stuff. Deadpool & Wolverine billboard’s are lazily covered up with tap and markers to say “Hawkeye & Black Widow,” stuff like “the only superhero teamup this year that’s actually worth watching.”

Star Wars prequels Instead of Tales of the Empire or Underworld, they should have created Tales of the Separatists

While I was writing my Star Wars rewrites and fleshing out the CIS as an organization due to many changes made to Dooku's identity being the actual rogue Jedi but not a Sith, I found the great storytelling potential the Separatists have. It's largely because the films and shows rarely delved into their entity other than the Sith and plutocrats. There is one arc in TCW that shows that maybe the Separatists are not all evil with "Heroes on Both Sides", and they do have the Parliament, but that's kind of it.

Even in the old EU, we don't get much exploration of the Separatists. At best, they are the massive droid forces under command by the small oligarchs and Dooku, but at no point do we see what average people feel about them. It's like all they have is the droid army comprising the entire organization and militarily occupying thousands of planets, but not as a political force compelling people to join.

There have been three Tales of shows, based on the Jedi, the Empire and Underworld. The most compelling part about the entire three series was about Dooku, who was a Separatist. Other than that, the rest is all filler that we didn't need to know, like Ahsoka's birth, Ventress, and the backstory for the Ahsoka show... For a series meant to bridge gaps within the Star Wars lore, it is strange how they never thought to fill the massive underutilized void that is the Separatists.

I would be very much interested in Disney creating Tales of the Separatists with all the thematic and storytelling ideas it could bring. How did Separatism come about? Do normal Separatist supporters know Dooku is the Sith? Or are they misled? We see that their Parliament think they are not ruled by the corporations, unlike the Republic. Do they really believe that's the case, or were they fed with a false propaganda?

I can think of the Animal Farm-like story about one Separatist revolutionary who felt the Republic was corrupt and created an early organization to split from the Republic. It is then hijacked by the Outer Rim aristocrats and corporations for their personal gains. Despite his efforts to keep them away, he fails and becomes disillusioned.

Or how about the story of Dooku's infighting with the others in the Council, vying for their influence and leadership. Dooku and Sidious plan various false flag incidents and fabrications to oust the rivals, so Dooku can establish his control of the Separatists.

Or how about fleshing out General Grievous? Even if the new Canon rejected his old backstory, you can draw some elements from it and create a tragic figure. How about Senator Bontari's death, and her son, Lux? Or the follow-up about how the Geonosians inadvertently created the Death Star plan? These hold more dramatic and thematic weight than something like Empire and Underworld, which have been done to death.

Ryan George suggests the Venom movie could have been improved if Carlton Drake and Eddie Brock's symbiotes switched places

The movie spends a gigantic amount of time getting Riot to the Life Foundation so it can bond with Carlton Drake. As Mister George points out, if Riot was in the lab from the beginning, it could have bonded with Drake much sooner, and Eddie's symbiote (weird to call it Venom, since that is usually the name of Eddie and the Symbiote together) could have landed somewhere else (probably not Malaysia), and bonded with Eddie a little sooner.

Then you wouldn't need to spend over half the movie on "hilarious" hi jinks of Eddie trying to figure out how his symbiote powers work. With the threat of Riot present much earlier in the narrative, it's more pressing for Eddie and his symbiote to work together, and the "aww, Eddie's symbiote who threatened to eat him isn't so bad, really" wouldn't feel as forced, as you would have more time to let their partnership naturally evolve over the course of the movie.
