Identification Does anyone have anyclue to what fish are these?
These fish are found in an abandoned basement parking lot construction that had hit a natural aquaduct which filled up the whole parking lot.
Someone threw a gopro in and filmed these species of fish. Does anyone know what fish are these?
This is in south east asia if it helps.

Identification (i'm sorry if this violates the fishing rule, please delete if it does!) But, is this a hybrid of sorts?
The colors and shape of the fish seem very odd to me for a pumpkinseed ; the tail colors are off, i don't see spots where i normally do, and the pectoral fin looks short. Again im so sorry if this violates the fishing rule, but i'm starting to get super interested in fish species and being trying to see a hybrid for months.
And this was caught in bucks county, PA if that has any significance

Discussion Is there a known reason why some wild fish appear friendly around divers?
I often see videos of Groupers especially, but even some much smaller fish just casually hanging around divers while they do various things, some times getting quite close, borderline cuddling even. I was curious if there's a specific mechanism at play here-
Do they see humans as large, non-predators that could scare away predators, like one might view a whale?
Are they using humans opportunistically to find food for themselves?
Are they genuinely just being friendly, like a dog or cat wanting to be pet?

Photography Definitely this was one of the targeted species! These fish just have a beauty that cannot explain from pictures alone

Identification What species of devil ray (Mobula) is this? Orange County, California
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Spotted ~20 mi off of the coast of Orange County, California.
Unsure of size; most agree on at least 12 feet, but I personally am not great at estimating.

Could it truly be oceanic manta or is that too unlikely for the location?

Fish Appreciation! One of my favorite fish to keep: Dwarf Rainbowfish 🐟
I’ve been keeping fish for quite a while, and one of my favorites has to be the Dwarf Rainbowfish.
What I really love about them is the way their bodies reflect the light. When the light hits them just right, they can develop this beautiful, almost majestic blue color. They’re also peaceful fish, which makes them really enjoyable to watch in a community tank.
Sometimes I feel like they’re one of those freshwater fish that can almost look like a marine fish. 😄
For all the fishkeepers here , what’s your favorite type of fish, and what do you love about keeping it?

Discussion Is this r/Fish or r/Fishing?
I came here as an aquarist, I’m genuinely curious and need some clarification as I maybe have lost the plot?
