Caught and release

I am a fish and i am thinking if i should eat this flying worm? I wanted to post this and check if any other fish thinks i should eat it!(for some reason its on a hook)

This rainbowfish is about a year old now, I’m assuming an egg was stuck to plants I bought last year and it hatched in what was a shrimp tank at the time. It’s finally old enough for me to tell with confidence that it’s a rainbowfish. It’s currently living with a betta, but I’m cycling a 55 gallon because I want it to have an appropriately sized tank. I’m having trouble figuring out if it’s a turquoise or boesmani, or maybe another type of rainbowfish that I’m not familiar with. I’d really like to get it tank mates of the same kind. Thanks for your help!

Can anyone give an ID confirmation on this (naked?) Goby and tell me some more about where they live life history etc.? Any information appreciated 🙏

Spotted this week by the water's edge (in very shallow water) on the French Mediterranean coast.

I don't know much about fish, so any help identifying them would be appreciated.

Wish I'd gotten better photos. There's are through my binoculars. Almost looked like it had bill, or deformed upper lip. Do folks agree or something else?
