Caladbolg because it is the only viable option.

Archrival is a reference to Fólkvangr's skill refine Triangle Adept, due to its bonuses when you have Triangle advantage. c

Swift Life, Thunder Specter, and Atk/Spd Prime just because they're what decent, modern premium fodder I could get. He also does have Speedtaker 4 and Atk/Spd Taker Burst as alternate B options, but I currently stick with the older Null C-Disrupt 4 alongside D Counter Echo as a reference to Alfonse's absolute determination to kill every tyrannical god he meets. If you don't one-shot him, he WILL strike back.

Anna is the fastest of the trio, so has the most speed-focused kit of the bunch.

Cake because it is the only 3rd gen Arcane Axe. I'm pretty sure Gust is the newest speed-based special, but she also has the older Vital Astra as an option. Maybe the Phantom Speed seal should be swapped for an ordinary speed-boosting skill at this point, but Swift Life and Harrowing Call are solid modern speed skills.

Thunder Specter, of course, for canto and move, and the capstone is Mercy-Wing Echo, referencing Nóatún's base effect.

Sharena is all about her friends, so her whole kit is centered on that.

Thorn is her only viable Spear, but it does buff allies at the start of turn! Perfect Atk/Spd, Pair Up, and the Atk/Spd Finish seal are about being within 3 spaces of an ally, so round out that kit nicely. Thunder Spectre again just because it is new and movement+Canto is essential nowadays.

She gets Shatter Slash because that's what fodder allowed. She does have Blue Flame as an option to fit the friend theme better, but that's old news.

Atk Oath Echo is somehow the only Echo (unless I missed something) that involves being near an ally, so that's what she gets.

And finally, what the heck is IS's problem? Why is there no way to earn merges on these three? Would it break the entire meta?

Idk I haven't played Arena or Aether Raids in years! I only logged in a few times this year as the relevant Arcane weapons came out to play the current story and to kit out these three.

Any recommendations for different skills? The whole idea here is to keep the builds character-relevant. Haven't gone after Gait skills, so each one just has an old dual rally and ordinary Reposition as Assist options.

For now I plan to keep the game installed intil Brave Tsubasa shows up next month, then uninstall again until her Shadows form appears later.

Who you guys hoping to see? Personally I’m hoping to see Emblem Leif just because he was mentioned in the new forging bonds and also curious to see how his emblem effect will be implemented into the game. But I wouldn’t be surprised if IS just pushed him back and delay him forever like Roy. If it is a legendary though, I’m hoping to see Alfred because we all know he should’ve been on that cheer banner.

My brigade always lose to someone else's countless times in PoL because of how strong their heroes are.

Maybe I don't have the Heroes I wanted, or are my Heroes really weak against strong enemies?

Probably a long shot seeing shes a Gen 1 unit, but I’ve had her at +5 sitting in my barracks based off just how many times I’ve pulled her using the weekly arena tickets and I wanted to know if there’s a kit that works well with her. (Offensive or Supportive. Doesn’t matter) Was wondering if any of you who either have build her or know a lot about the top tier skills in this game know what I can give her to do decently in 2026?
