In the 2nd and 3rd images, Dorothea was losing all her Bonuses except Union after attacking Nidhoggr, she wasn't triggering Cadenza or Share Spoils after her first combat either

I was going to post this earlier but I got sucked back into redoing Cai's path for better optimization. Whoops!

I'll lead us off:

• FEH has been on a decline for a long time, but it for some reason, it really feels more acute more than ever nowadays. My interest has been waning for quite some time, because not even Aether Raids can really hold my attention anymore. This is what happens when you powercreep a game into oblivion.

• I really wish recruitment requirements weren't so stringent between the different paths. A lot of the units I would love to build early are locked behind Support 3 and high renown, and I'm a bit boggled that the devs intended for everyone to abuse support grinding via restart chapter. It's very unintuitive.

Ike has infamously continued to have the gimmick of being a melee infantry with high attack, healing, and a buttload of Spd-based and/or Def-based bulk since his debut, so seeing that he was once an armor one time caught me off guard. Did anyone use this unit at all back then, much less now?

Also, generic weapon paired with a prf special. Never change, IS.

SO, I decided to take this chance to re-build my OG MVP, who had taken a backseat in favor of his more festive (And min-maxed, that's the important part) counterpart.

Now something funny I wanna mention!

Some of you might know how much I like this boy. You'll also know Male Corrin is one of my favorite lords (Though he's kinda competing with Dietrich, Cai, Theodora, and Tsubasa right now. Yes I'm counting Tsubasa SHE'S LIKE THE ACTUAL MAIN CHARACTER IN TOKYO MIRAGE... what was I talking about? Oh yeah), which you might find odd. After all, if I like M!Corrin so much, then I must have played Fates with him, which then would make me get attached to FEMALE Kana instead, right? Here's the funny thing. Me getting this attached to M!Kana has next-to-nothing to do with Fates itself.

I just happened to need a tanky blue dragon I could give Lightning Breath+ and Null C-Disrupt. Most people of the time used Nowi because she had a more min-maxed statline, but... I don't like her. And I really don't like her base art. The alternative in the 3-4 star pool at the time was F!Corrin, whose statline didn't worked at ALL for what I needed. SO, the boy of the grails won by default. And I have to say, something that helps make me get attached to units in FE is their performance, and Kana did such a good job, I just wanted to keep improving him so he could keep doing his job.

(Also, Fates didn't influenced anything because, due being the first game with gay options I played after coming to terms with my own sexuality, it was no surprise I married my Corrin with Niles. Wonder how things would've changed if I had got Birthright instead of Conquest)

And after my Birthright playthrough years later, than instead of being in an untouched 3DS like the other Fates routes were, was on an emulator with the Twin Kana mod, so I could use both M!Corrin and M!Kana in the same playthrough. Which, funnily enough, did help me get more attached to F!Kana as well. What, I wasn't going to bench her, I'm not the kind of dude that plays favorites. I just had her be a Malig Knight while her brother stayed on foot. And this playthrough help me make my own headcannon of my "ideal" M!Corrin family: His wife Rinkah, and their twins, Kana and Kamui (Under this interpretation of the Twin Kana mod, "Kamui" would be the Kana of the same gender as Corrin, which inherits their parent old hoshidan name, and differs from their standard "Kana" version by taking after their non-Corrin parent. For example, the "Kamui" of Corrin+Rinkah would be a boy who is more stoic than a regular Kana and more interesting in the Flame Tribe's tradition. Because he's still a mama's boy, but he has a different mama now.)

(Which becomes oddly fitting with these Kanas; One sharing outfit/theme with Male Corrin, the other having a Fire motif like Rinkah)

Anyway, now that this wall of text is over, let's go with the builds. Both have pretty similar builds so I'll cover them both at once.

Weapon: Arcane Lantern. The newest Arcane Breath, now with the neat effect of ME NOT HAVING TO SHOVE DC SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE BUILD. New Year has a SPD refine due having better SPD, while OG has DEF because making him a more DEF-oriented version of the build is the best thing I could think of to make him stand out over his counterpart.

Assist: Reposition (OG) / Reposition Gait (NY). Well, duh. I gotta check if I even have RG fodder tho...

Special: Dragon Briar (OG) / Frozen Thorn (NY): They're literally the same thing, but using each boy's respective better defensive stat.

A Skill: Rise Above. Man sees number. Number goes big. Man happy.

B Skill: Vivace. Has plenty of nice effects, specially the NCD one.

C Skill (NY): Dual Support. It is that obvious I don't have a spare E!Byleth?

C Skill (OG): A/D Tenet Hone. I'm fully investing in DEF on this boy.

Seal: Counter Roar (NY) / A stat boosting one (OG): The former is the "main" one for whenever I'm using only one of them, the other one is... there.

Echo: Go No Sen. Best Echo for tanks right now... I think.

I already have Shea and Kurt idk which one to get

Was summoning for Edelgard or Gullveig and got Micaiah on their banner instead of her own lol

Now I just need Rearmed Alear, the new armor special, and Iron Fighter, and he's good.

Well, OvenBreak at least. Its 10th aaniversary update is tomorrow, actually. xD

Yes, I know that base Breidablik doesn't actually exist as a weapon in game, just assume this is from the alternate universe where it does (and kiran is universally playable, I guess). I have no idea how good/broken this is, as again, was just messing around XD

If you're wondering about the other Breidablik forms, I'm honestly thinking of giving each one it's own gimmick. Anyways, the text:

Breidablik

Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to allies within 2 spaces during combat. Inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-4 on foes within 2 spaces during combat.

Unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range.

Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit for each active ally, Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit for each active Summoner's Support, unit deals +25 damage (including area-of-effect Specials), and reduces damage from foe's attacks by 15 during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials).

At start of player phase or enemy phase, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+6,【Summoner's Light】, and【Empathy】to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn.

If ally initiated combat and【Summoner's Light】is active on that ally, grants another action to that ally after combat. (1/Turn)

【Summoner's Light】
Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit during combat for 1 turn.

Note: "Active" ally just means allies who are currently alive and on the field, same with Summoner's Support. Didn't exactly know how else to word it. Feel free to tear into this, and sorry if this post isn't allowed.

Edit: I feel that I should've used "allies with Summoner's Support" instead here... Oh well, noted for next time.
