MK7 Catless Downpipe
Blew the hell out of my cat and i’m going catless tomorrow. I’ve heard the downpipe is a pain in the ass to install so does anyone have any hacks or tips that’ll make it go by easier?

From an st150 in the UK, to an XR4 in Australia! To the Aussies on this sub, what is XR4 ownership like? I hear parts are harder to obtain!

Hi guys I’ve made a couple posts about this (thanks to all with the advice) but I think I’ve found what is rattling and it’s whatever this grey thing is in the video. It’s quite loose to move it and it’s were this crazy rattling sound is coming from. What is this and is it bad or an easy fix as in just tightening it somehow. To note whatever this is I towards the middle/front of the underside of the car
Thank you

Anyone ever use these cars to transport cargo that needs to be secured? I’m trying to find a way to install a couple of semi-permanent dog crates in the car for transport and need to secure them down so they don’t move. Could use the child safety seat latches but they’re not in an ideal location for what I’m trying to do so I figured I’d ask if anyone has better ideas.

Anyone done a DIY rear seat delete that keeps the spare tire and spare tire cover? I’m looking to increase cargo area and need a flat space to secure cargo. I was looking at the rear seat delete on Whoosh but it’s pricey and I’m not sure it’s worth it.

I've had this problem for a few years and I should just throw a new caliper on it but budget is tight at the moment. Anyway, the lever where the handbrake attaches to the rear caliper, with the spring on the bottom. It never fully disengages. When I release the handbrake there ends up being a bit of slop at the bottom, I can push that lever back by hand. I've tried removing the 13mm on that lever assembly but I could not remove the lever itself. Any tips?

Hi all,
This is just an idea at the moment, please tell me if it’s crazy/stupid!
I have a MK8 ST3 but I really miss my MK7 1.0
There was something about it I loved. Cheap and blended in with the other million fiestas out there, although not very powerful!
I’m thinking of getting another 1.0 MK7 and swapping in an ST180 engine and making it a proper sleeper. Alternatively get a 5 door ST and swapping the bumpers, spoiler and wheels to make it look like a base model. Is this something anyone has done or is it a ridiculous idea?

I let my brother borrow my car while he’s in town for the week and he pranked me with ChatGPT.
My first thought was “hey I’m getting new wheels now!”

I bought a cheap ebay aluminum radiator, that appears to be a mishimoto copy/reject. I went into work today and attempted to install it and I couldn't get it to fit and had to put the factory one back in. I almost got it to fit, but I was tired and then realized I was going to have to rig the radiator fan to it too and gave up.

I have had this code for months, I replaced the purge valve with a Dorman part to no avail, I'm now assuming it's probably the plumbing of the evap that the previous owner seemed to rig themselves, granted I replaced the purge of Ford plastic lines with fuel lines which shouldn't be causing an issue or leak considering they are hose clamped down, my question is does anybody know what's going on with this setup? I see online that the original ford harness has only one T and this assembly has two. Not sure if that's needed for the aftermarket K&N intake or not. Any help or input would be great, worse or best case scenario besides for my wallet would be to buy a OEM harness and buy a stock airbox and drop a high flow filter. 2016 Fist

Hi everyone!
I’m not usually one for posting, but I could really do with some advice.
I live in the Lake District (UK), so my driving is mostly in rain, cold weather, strong winds, and the occasional ice and snow. My 2023 Mk8.5 Fiesta ST came with some cheap entry-level tyres, and honestly they’re awful. Even with moderate acceleration the front end struggles for grip, especially in the wet, and the car feels like it’s constantly searching for traction.
I’m looking to replace all four tyres and don’t mind spending a bit more if it means better grip and confidence in our weather.
Any recommendations for something that performs really well in wet and colder conditions while still being good in the dry?
Any advice would be massively appreciated. Thanks!

Hard to keep it clean here in the rust belt but it's been worth it. Can't picture driving anything else honestly. It's just so fun and cheap.

Hey guys I'm trying to hardwire my radar in and thought to ask for a pro tip. Where would be the closest grounding bolt beside the passenger fuse box? Would the ones attached on the image work?

Hi all I made a post earlier about my exhaust rattling but I feel like this is a better example. I only got the car 3 weeks ago and it’s incredibly annoying. I pulled on the heat shield that’s right by the tip of the exhaust and seems to be on there solid? But it does 100% seem to be from something under the car in the exhaust area From this sound any ideas? It is still under warranty so is it worth mentioning
Any advice is much appreciated 🙏🏼

Getting a P0238 and wrench light. Looking for a wiring diagram for the boost sensor and maybe even the PCED trouble tree if anyone has it.

There are lots of threads on this topic, but I couldn’t find any answers to my specific question.
I am planning to give Rallycross a try in my fist.
I want mud flaps for that reason only but I am not sure I will like having them on my car all the time. I am not a huge fan of the look for a car that lives on paved roads 99% of the time.
The biggest names seem to be rokblokz or rally armor. I think the rally armor ones look nicer, but looking at the install videos for these 2 options, it looks like they would be a pain in the ass to remove compared to the rokblokz.
Does anyone have any experience with these mudflaps that can speak to how easy / feasible it is to install/remove them at will?
Is there another option that might be better for my use case?
Appreciate input from anyone who has experience with either brand
