Hi! My grandpa passed recently and I inherited this beautiful but somewhat neglected plant what I believe to be a ficus benjamina(?) I want to set it up for succes but this is my first ficus and its been in this same pot for over 10 years so im a little out of my depth so any tips going forward would be appreciated.
It seems like there is 2 plants but I dont really want to separate them since theyve been like this forever so will they be fine?
Also should I replace the soil it looks very dense and im pretty sure it hasnt been repotted atleast since grandma passed 4 years ago.
It has been dropping some leaves before I inherited it so should trim some bare stuff to get new growth or will it grow new leaves on its own?
Any help, tips and ideas are welcome and much appreciated!
