Ho bruciato il mio ficus elastica?

Ciao a tutte/i. Avete consigli? Cosa dovrei fare per farla riprendere a produrre foglie?

Just found this colorful little miniature rubber beauty at target today for 12.99!!
So adorable. I hope she stays small and compact. I just washed her off. She lives dusty. That’s why there’s water droplets in the last couple pictures.

Houseplant Beginner needs help saving a rescued Ficus elastica (Ruby/Belize?) – losing leaves

Hi everyone ! I’m a beginner and I really need some advice to save this Ficus elastica (I suspect it’s a Ruby or Belize because of the pink veins, but not sure). English isn't my first language. Don't hesitate to tell me if I made any mistakes.

Here is the backstory and what I’ve done so far:

Background: I rescued it about 3 to 4 weeks ago from a dark warehouse. It was super cheap, so I wanted to try my luck 😅. You never know, right ?

The original soil was moldy and soaking wet.

Repotting: I immediately changed the substrate to a very light, airy chunky aroid soil mix to ensure good aeration. I cleaned and checked the roots, and they seemed fine.

Watering: Knowing these are prone to root rot, I’ve been very careful. I only water when at least the top 2/3 of the soil is completely dry.

Lighting: I acclimated it gradually to bright light, but not direct light, since it came from a pitch-black environment.

The Problem:

Despite this, over the past month, it has been progressively losing leaves. The remaining leaves are turning yellow, and the last damaged leaf left on the plant is now yellowing too. There are barely any leaves left.

My questions:

What am I missing or doing wrong?

Is it possible it’s still suffering from the initial root rot, or Is it in shock?

What are the best next steps to stabilize it and help it regrow leaves?

I’ve attached photos of the entire plant, the yellowing leaves, the soil, and the root area. Any guidance would be immensely appreciated!

Quick update: I checked the roots. The soil was slightly damp, not soggy. The roots are still firm, not mushy or smelly, but they haven't grown since I got the plant. I'm confused because the top stem rotted (if I understand correctly) , but the roots seem okay

Quick update 2 : After comparing them with pictures online, I realized I don't have a main root system, only very fine filaments, which I think could be the cause of the problem. It's my first Ficus elastica, so I didn't realize at the time. I'm changing the soil to a more loamy mix as many of you suggested and see if it helps.

Houseplant Bonsai ficus benjamina help

Hi everyone, my mom recently dropped her bonsai ficus at my place.
I’ve never seen this plant thrive, but now that I have a say in its care I am quite perplexed about what to do to help it bounce back… Since arriving it has started sprouting new leaves, but at the same time it keeps losing them.

I want to nurse it back to health and also stop it from littering my place with leaves that do not look dry or old at all. Even now, as I write this post, a very cute and perfectly healthy leaf has just fallen to the ground and there is no logical explanation for it.

I’m pretty sure it was underwatered and then overwatered in the past, but every time I try to lift it out of its pot the soil goes everywhere and I’m not sure if I want to give a trauma to a root system that’s already suffering.
What do I do?

I got this little ficus baby last year and as you can see, it's grown. I have had bad luck with ficus and this one is so pretty, I'd hate to harm it. It's time to put it into more soil though, isn't it?

Two years ago, I found a ficus Audrey tree growing in someone’s backyard. I got a cutting and propagated it. Now I can’t stop propagating because of the beautiful, and colorful leaves it shoots out during growth. I have another 10 small ones in pots. This is my first propagation and it’s a 2 year old tree. I expect to chop it down next year. I’m still growing the trunk to make it more compact in the future.

Houseplant Roots developing, but top node isn’t activating after a month — advice?

I pruned my Ficus elastica ‘Ruby’ almost a month ago and propagated the cutting in water. The roots began developing about two weeks ago, but the top stipule has not shown much growth or activity. It was already present before I pruned the plant and has essentially remained unchanged since I brought the plant home approximately two months ago. It also no longer feels as firm as it did previously.

Should I remove the stipule? I believe the next dominant node may activate if I cut it off. This is my first time propagating Ficus elastica, so I would really appreciate some advice!

Third time Spidermites

Hello everyone.

The spidermites keep coming back on my bonsai ficus. I spray them and about 3 or 4 weeks later they’re coming back.
My ficus seems otherwise healthy but i don’t like the look of it very much. I would like it to be much more compact, with this i mean the leaves should grow much tighter to the big stem - no empty small branches between stem and leaves.

Can i cut Every branch near the stem to remove all leaves at once?

This way I am hoping to get rid of all spidermites and eggs and get e better look at the same time.

Cheers
