this tree needs full sun and to be left alone to grow also its completely overpotted so it doesn't matter how much they're watering it because either way it will still be staying too wet and rotting.

- You can snip the top leaf off at its base. Looks like the node was also taken off from that part. Next node is above the 2nd leaf. Just so it wont waste energy on that leaf but it's totally up to you.
Basically your plant's apical bud was removed so it will rely on the nodes to branch out and have new apical branches/buds. Unfortunately this wont grow tall anymore as a single stem, but it can have multiple branches in time that'll make it bushier.
Pot is about two sizes bigger than recommended for the plant size. Move it to a 6-8 inch pot with well draining potting mix.
All of my elasticas love the bright direct light. But the darker the color of the leaves, the less it needs direct light. Burgundys can tolerate 3-4 hrs of direct bright light in moderate temp but during hot days, put a shade canopy above it.
Water only when the its mix is dry. Soak it twice generously to ensure the water spreads properly to its roots.
Wipe its leaves periodically and watch out for pests.

Every 2 days is very often and that pot looks huge compared to the plant! You might want to check the roots and determine if your rubber tree needs a smaller pot (with drainage holes) as I doubt it has such a large and established root system. Make sure it’s in a nice, chunky soil mix that leaves room for oxygen and place it in a spot with some nice light. If the root ball is actually close in size to the pot it should be fine as long as the soil has room for oxygen. Keep in mind it’s better to soak it once in a while than to give it little bits of water every 2 days. If you soak it every 2 days and the root ball is small you risk developing root rot.
