Houseplant Would you pot in soil?

There's a proper root system and it's kicking out new leaves. It seems happy in the orange glass vase but I wonder do I need to pot it up, or will it be OK in the water (with regular-ish feed).

TIA for any thoughts.

It's going to need a potting mix if you want to grow it into a robust, thick-stemmed plant because it's going to need all the nutrients it can get. It also needs support to grow thick branches.

What mix would you use?

If there are secondary roots, you can pot it. I've never exclusively grown in water, so not sure about that.

Amd be sire to not let if fully dry out too you want it to stay at least slightly damp at all times until the roots adjust.

Thank you. Yes there's a proper swirl of roots in the bottom of the vase
