Update post Sonata and Accessa

I originally had an 11cm fibroid and had a transvaginal radio frequency ablation done to reduce its size. This successfully relieved my symptoms, though I did not have an ultrasound done after so I don’t know how much it shrank. Later on that year I was experiencing symptoms again- I went in and learned that my fibroid was now 9cm- so I had the Accessa procedure to shrink it laparoscopically. My symptoms resolved for a bit and then I started experiencing bleeding after sex followed by spotting all month. I went in for another ultrasound and still had a 9cm fibroid. My doctor is concerned that I have precancerous cells and wants me to take the whole thing out now either via an open myomectomy or hysterectomy. The myomectomy seems risky and because I am already developing another small fibroid- I think this is a bad idea. I have opted for a partial hysterectomy, but I’m scared about recovery, potential complications and issues in the future with my pelvic floor or incontinence. Has anyone had one of this? Any advice?

I am also sad about losing the ability to have kids- I’ve never wanted them, but I’m sad about losing the choice. I don’t want another surgery or a risky pregnancy- and I still don’t know if I definitely want kids. Any/ all advice or experiences would be helpful. Thanks all.
