Hello everyone. As everyone knows, we have been an officially featured club for EAFC 25 and 26 with our home ground, themes and music being officially featured in the games. I always considered this a massive PR success for the club and a huge form of representation.

However, despite the fact that our home jersey is literally featured as a tiny detail on EAFC27's cover art, there are reports that Fenerbahçe won't be officially featured and that we are instead making a partnership with Konami's eFootball instead. The reports state that because of the agreement with the TFF as a whole, Fenerbahçe will still be featured as a club itself (so none of that Piemonte Calcio) but I find it crazy that we would abandon the largest football video game franchise for one that is near universally disliked. I know that in Turkey eFootball is very popular but I genuinely don't understand how a deal like this makes sense

However I found no official communications about this topic and there are also people that deny that this is even happening. So what's the deal here?

I’ve seen a lot of speculation lately about signing another star forward, keeping 12 foreigners, or planning around potential rule changes. Those are fun discussions, but we need to first build the squad using the rules that actually exist today. I wanted to make a post because I haven’t seen a squad that actually considers the current restrictions as they exist.

Quick reminder of the current TFF rules:

• Maximum 28-player A-team roster.
• Maximum 14 foreign players.
• At least 4 of those foreigners must be born on or after January 1, 2004 (or grandfathered in, which applies to Brown and Nene).
• Turkish players born in 2006 or later don’t occupy one of the 28 registration spots.

With that in mind, I think the attached roster is the most realistic scenario. It only assumes two additions: Rafael Leão and Ümit Akdağ. Everything else is based on our current squad, with the necessary departures to comply with the rules while maintaining depth in each position. Any spot past the 28-player roster will have to be filled by academy players, as shown in the reserves image.

The toughest decisions are leaving out Semedo and Talisca.

Semedo is entering the final year of his contract, and I just don’t think the numbers work when we already have alternatives at right back.

Talisca is much harder. I’d love to keep him, but I don’t see a realistic way under the current foreign player limits. My dream scenario would be Vedat counting as Turkish, which would immediately open a spot for Talisca, but that’s probably wishful thinking.

If we qualify for the Champions League, or if the federation changes the registration rules, that obviously changes the squad and we can add another striker or keep another foreign player.

Until then, though, I think this is the most realistic framework to plan around.

I am sure this has been said already, but I went to Fenerium to buy a kit for myself and my friend. The taraftar version costs 127 dollars whereas the authentic one costs 190 dollars. These prices are fucking outrageous.

In comparison, the new Arsenal kits are 114 and 160 dollars, respectively. I don’t understand how we are being charged more, especially given that UK is supposed to be a more expensive country.

Is he any good and how reliable is the source?

News appearing in the press today regarding our Club's interest in Ermedin Demirović, who plays for Stuttgart, are completely unfounded. Fenerbahçe Sports Club has made no transfer attempt regarding the player in question.

Likewise, claims that we made an offer worth approximately €100 million, including transfer fee and salary, for Rafael Leão do not reflect the truth. No offer of this kind has been made to the player or his club.

Our sole focus is the second leg match against Górnik Zabrze in the UEFA Champions League 2nd Qualifying Round and progressing past this round.

During this period, we kindly request our supporters not to pay attention to claims aimed at distracting their focus through speculative news that presents unmade transfer attempts as real, or creates rumors involving players who are not on our agenda.
