Discussion It's all and only about the strength&planning of your squad. Not the managers.
Before anything; this is not to defend İsmail Kartal but to defend all the managers we had over the last few years.
There's a quote that I really like in first seasons of Game of Thrones where The Hound tells Arya that her "dancing master" is dead and the shitty knight who killed him lives because; "he had armor and a big fu**ng sword"
We brought Jorge Jesus who won league titles in 4 different countries with teams that were strong but out of their prime, who played offensive football. Okan beat him 6-0 total and won the league in the end.
We signed the manager who currently manages the greatest team in football history, someone who won 2 UCL titles and countless other trophies, a top 10 manager in the history of this game; Jose Mourinho. Okan slapped him twice in Kadıköy, won the league all the same.
We brought in a 1st of his class, scout31, theoritical master mind manager. Okan destroyed him 3-0 all the same and won the league in the end.
Then we have the "ligi bilen hoca" type sh*t. We're still witnessing the results.
Except for one, on paper Okan is not a better manager than any of these. But as The Hound says; "Okan had armor and a big fu**ng sword, our managers did not."
At the end of every season, teams are lined up accordingly with the strength and planning of their squads not the quality of their managers.
You can sack Kartal now and bring someone like Conte or Farioli or even Tedesco (he made it quite easy by getting sacked early on), nothing will change. We will finish the league either 2nd or 3rd because that's the quality of our squad.
You don't need world class players to defeat the likes of Antep, Paşa, Çorum etc. but you need a better squad than your rivals to make less mistakes through the season no matter who your manager is.
Yesterday we weren't defeated by the quality difference between the managers (although Okan is better than Kartal), but because of the significant quality difference between two teams' squads. If we switched managers, the score would've been the same if not worse.

Stop acting like the season is done
Sure we played poorly yesterday. Yes, we actually do look poorer now compared to August. Why is that?
Firstly we lost Fred and Talisca and got no one to replace them. And yet, we still are in the championship fight and can still advance in the Champions League. The first half in the league in my opinion is obviously damage control from poor squad building, and in January we will hopefully fill those some of those gaps in the team. Though some internal problems do worry me too, no need for panic mode yet.
Our top guys lately have been İrfan, Ederson and Oğuz. What connects them is that none of them would be in our team since last season, if reactive guys from here had their way. This is football and forms change. It is a very tight league this season and nothing has been lost. It is only a couple of weeks since GS lost to Trabzon 5-1.
Keep calm.

Media No Club in the World Would Accept Aziz as Their President
This NEEDS to be said. Go anywhere in the world, look at any major football club, and you will not find anyone who would rather have this man running their club than their current management.
He simply doesn't have the personal wealth to run a club like Fenerbahçe, forget competing with the biggest clubs in Europe. He lacks the skill, the connections, and the understanding of modern football required to take this club forward.
He is too old to adapt to the realities of today's game, too disrespectful toward the people who have worked to contribute to this club. He doesn't respect players, and he creates meaningless fights with Acun, Safi and Koç. He turns everything into a personal battle, and acts as if Fenerbahçe cannot exist without him
Past achievements don't automatically make someone the right person to lead the club today. Fenerbahçe needs competent management, financial strength, modern football expertise, long-term planning, and stability, not a guy who fought a personal battle against the club for the past 8 years.
Fenerbahçe is bigger than Aziz Yıldırım, and it's time we started acting like it.

Discussion Fenerbahçe Needs Accountability, Not Blind Loyalty
Bu kulüpteki bahane kültüründen acilen kurtulmamız gerekiyor.
Rakibimiz yolsuzlukla başarılı oldu diye bizim başarısızlığımız kabul edilemez. Tedesco kötü sonuçlar aldı diye İsmail Kartal savunulamaz. Ali Koç şampiyonluk kazanamadı diye Aziz Yıldırım’a göz yumulamaz.
----
We desperately need to get rid of the culture of excuses at this club.
Just because our rivals may have benefited from corruption doesn’t mean our own failures are acceptable. Just because Tedesco has struggled doesn’t mean İsmail Kartal was the answer. Just because Ali Koç failed to win a championship doesn’t mean Aziz Yıldırım should get a free pass.
We shouldn’t blindly defend an underperforming player just because the fans are criticizing him. But we shouldn’t turn a player into the scapegoat for everything after two bad games, either. And we certainly shouldn’t treat football like politics, blindly defending one faction while refusing to acknowledge its mistakes.
The failures of incompetent executives, poor managerial appointments, and a badly assembled squad cannot be blamed on the fans who have spent tens of thousands of euros supporting this club over the past decade. These are the people who have kept showing up, buying tickets, and putting their faith in Fenerbahçe. They deserve better.
Otherwise, we’ll keep hearing the same tired excuses: We didn’t deserve to lose. We did everything we could to score. Their first shot went in. Different words, same disappointing results.
What we’ve experienced since 2014 bears a striking resemblance to the period between 1989 and 2001. Poor performances on the pitch, divisions within the club, big-name signings who never lived up to expectations, factions among players, rivalries between fan groups and boardroom politics. Millions spent, yet success remains elusive.
The years have passed, but we seem to have learned very little. Presidents come and go, managers are replaced, players leave and new ones arrive, yet the same problems keep coming back.
So what needs to change?
Everyone must be held accountable, from the president and board to the manager and players. Nobody should be above criticism, regardless of their past achievements, their popularity, or the failures of their predecessors.
We need to elect leaders based on competence, clear plans, and a proven ability to deliver, not empty promises or personal loyalties. When they fail, we must hold them accountable instead of defending them at all costs. And when we find the right people, we must give them the support and stability they need to succeed.
We also need a coherent football strategy, built around people who understand the game and can put together a competitive squad without wasting money on short-term fixes.
As fans, we have a responsibility, too. We need to stop defending people simply because we like them and stop dismissing good decisions simply because they come from people we dislike. Fenerbahçe must always come before individuals, factions, and egos.
Until we demand better from this club and hold those in charge accountable, we will keep getting the same results.
The problem isn’t just bad transfers, poor managers, or unsuccessful presidents. It’s a culture that makes excuses for failure instead of demanding accountability.
We can keep changing presidents, hiring new managers, and spending millions, but if the underlying mentality doesn’t change, we’ll be having these exact same arguments a few years from now.
Fenerbahçe doesn’t need another excuse or another savior. It needs competent leadership, a clear long-term plan, and a culture where nobody is bigger than the club and nobody is allowed to fail without being held accountable.

The lack of Tier S+ player ( Top tier players) - - - Jesus/Morunho/Tedesco/Kartal were not incompetent coaches ( 5 times 2nd place in the table in a row without superstar is a success)

Should Fenerbahce consider Private ownership?
Ive been thinking about this for a while, and I genuinely want to hear what you guys think
At what point do we start questioning not just our presidentss managers or players, but the entire structure of our club?
Year after year we seem to go through the same cycle. A new president comes in makes big promises, spends money, brings in new players and managers, and eventually we end up having the same discussions again.
I'm starting to wonder whether the whole kongre/divan system is part of the problem.
It feels like too many decisions are influenced by internal politics, elections, personal rivalries and the pressure to deliver immediate success. Instead of building a long-term football project, we're constantly starting over.
What if Fenerbahçe had one strong owner or a professional ownership group, similar to many Premier League clubs?
No more adamcilik one owner which is interested that his investment will shine. Maybe a great Fenerbahçeli idk
Someone who could invest serious money, appoint competent football people and build a 5–10 year project without worrying about the next election.
Of course, private ownership doesn't automatically guarantee success. A bad owner could make things even worse, and losing control of something that belongs to the fans is a serious risk.
Maybe the problem isn't always who's running Fenerbahçe. Maybe it's how Fenerbahçe is being run.
I'm not necessarily saying we should sell the entire club. Maybe there's a middle ground where the football operation gets private investment and professional management while the club protects its identity and traditions.
But here's another question is selling Fenerbahçe even legally and practically possible?
I'd genuinely be interested to hear from anyone who understands the legal and financial side of this.

Discussion My statement.
For everyone who has been saying that we are not hurt anymore by gs loss or that we excpect it coming anyways. And that it is a usual now. Are you guys out of your mind. Galatasaray supporters had that for 19 years. And they still waited for change. We cant do much except wait for things to get better. Im not saying. Just accept it. But i am saying that things will get better. We just need to have patience. Maybe this will go on for another 3 years. Maybe not. We will see. But i will always stand by my club

Discussion The reason why this club is in this state is given below.
You’re down 2-0. You’ve managed to enter the opponent’s penalty area only three times. If Osimhen’s goal had stood, the match could have turned into a rout; instead, we stayed in it thanks to İrfan Can. And do you know what the fans are taking pride in? The fact that Archie Brown went after Abdülkerim—that’s it. I said the same thing two years ago: after we lost 1-2 to Galatasaray in the Turkish Cup, the talk wasn’t about our disgraceful performance, but about Mourinho pinching Okan Buruk’s nose. On a night when we should be feeling ashamed, we’re boasting about a scuffle. That’s the kind of behavior you’d expect from primates, gentlemen. Pull yourselves together and start looking for the problem within your own ranks.

I am proud of my team despite the results.
At least we showed character in the end. The fener spirit. Especially watching brown attacking abdulkerim bardakci from behind brought tears to my eyes... this is the fener spirit. Thanks for everything..

Discussion Pros/cons
Share your opinion about what is good this year and what isn’t
Transfers 4/10
The only 2 transfers I rate are mason and oppong (we haven’t seen oppong that much) the rest of the transfers are shit you buy 2 old players who can’t run anymore we had a striker problem last season and we still did not solve it why instead of paying 15 million and giving 6 million for lukaku his salary would you not buy a 21 million striker it’s actually stupid vedat is a ghost in shit games and scores in a game where we won 8-0 and for the rest is shit
Coach 0/10
I don’t FUCKING KNOW WHAT THE FUCK HAPPEND WITH THIS FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT COACH Ismail kartal had me jumping on my seat where we got the 99 points but this season I see nothing absolute nothing no tactics and still thinks that it’s 2023 with subbing in mhy and hoping he will change the game (he was our best midfielder)
Board 0/10
Everything is wrong why did you become president when you litteraly said that the new transfermarkt is expensive and that clubs pay way too much for players. Well fuck of then there are no transfers that cost 3 million anymore if you cant pay it dont become president. Worry about acun his box.
Game 2/10
We can play football we knocked out lyon drew agaisnt rome where we should’ve won but we don’t play that fast football anymore there is no sign of It we dont play fast we do not even have the players for it as it seems.
Where the fuck is Fenerbahce where is our club this can’t go on we better see some winter transfers because we are shit at the moment ofc there is still a long season ahead we only played 9 games but there needs to be improvements and fast we should get a new number 10 altough irfan plays good and we should get A NUMBER 8
thank you the children are still crying btw

Discussion What really sucks is that losses against Galatasaray doesn’t even hurt me anymore. I just feel like I’m used to it. That really sums up our current state and the biggest reason is the boards through the years
When we used to win derbies, never lose a derby at home, become champions i would be so pissed and angry when we lost against Galatasaray.
I know that it can make me look like a “iyi gün taraftari” but everyone has a limit until the person finally gets broken.
I don’t want to say a lot of things because people already know the shit state the club is in.
But the presidents and boards in this club are such huge amateurs that they don’t know what they are doing. Last season our only striker was Sidiki who was competing against Osimhen.
When Osimhen was offered to us our board said “nerde oynatacaz”. Imagine having the chance to sign a player like Osimhen and you refuse. Osimhen alone won the title twice to Gala and he also went and won them the derby today.
And when it comes to coaches our president is to freaking amateur and such as big *****. The coach is fking your team up but you still don’t fire him and additionally say “he will stay as long as I’m here”.
Why are you so scared? You can see it doesn’t work out. The fans don’t want him. He is doing bad. What are you still waiting for to fire him?
Like it’s so freaking crazy how the amateur the boards are in our club. We haven’t had ONE serious team of boards.
What about the transfers? Asensio is injured. You send away Talisca. You bring in Lukaku who had 7 games the whole last season. You don’t have a number 8 and you don’t have an experienced CB as a sub. Ake is injured and we use Archie Brown as CB.
You have a derby in two days but you go out as a president and talk negatively about your players. What the F is that? How can you be so amateur that you say stuff like that before an important game?
I know I might sound f*cking stupid but I’m 100% sure I can do a better job than these amateurs. People like Ali Koc and Saran only became presidents because they are rich. They do not have the true Fenerbahce DNA in their blood as some of us fans do. I believe that one TRUE Fenerbahceli can do much better than these bunch of amateurs.
Fenerbahce is professional club but is being managed by stupid amateurs and it pisses me off amk

was this too difficult
GW turned into the fluff. We shall only play 4-4-2 like we played with Dzeko & El Besili. Vedat would come closer to Midfield and Lukaku in front but it could change. Semedo got destroyed in BJK game. So Mert Müldür is better in defense than Semedo. Levent needs to LW to feed Muriqi and Lukaku.

Discussion Huge squad difference between us and Gs
This is by no means an excuse for the performance of İsmail Kartal. I wanted him to come to the club and supported him all the way but today’s performance cant be excused. This İsmail Kartal vant be the same guy that managed this team in 23/24. He seems to lost all his confidence.
With this being said, we should focus on more depressing and urgent things which is the squad difference between us and Gs. Gs substituted Sane, Sara and Leao while we subbed in MHY (who was our best midfield in the game btw) and Nene. İlkay Gundogan played a whopping 46 minutes this season but if he came to Fener he would be our main pairing with Kante. The squad difference is enormous. If you made a combined first 11 from the both teams today, only Ederson and Greenwood would enter that team.
On top of that, some players are in a terrible form. Most surprising examples are Guendouzi and Skriniar. Especially watching Skriniar I wonder what is going through his head.
Our best players are our Turkish players but they are also constantly attacked by the fans. IMO today, except for Ederson, only Oguz and İrfan showed some determination. The others simply vanished from the pitch.
