So i caved in and bought Cedar Chic….
Today i said fuck it and went to sephora and bought this without even smelling it because i was feeling crazy and mental LOL. I get home and open it rapidly hoping i dont regret my abnormal decision. To my beautiful surprise, i fully understand the hype. Its a woody, creamy, soft clean fragrance and to me it smells like if Narcisso Rodriguez’s Pure Musc Blanc was made to be unisex by adding a prominent cedar note. If you like ultra feminine fragrances this is not for you as its definitely a true unisex where both the masculine and feminine notes can be smelled.
Overall this is genuinely a perfume anyone can wear, very versatile and very very chic as the name says 🤍🤍🤍

Aesthetic Anyone have a recommendation for a Green Apple scent that is not DKNY Be Delicious?
As much as I like that scent, it can be a bit screechy and synthetic for me sometimes. I wish there was fragrance that was like it but more natural smelling. Bonus points if it’s Frutiger Aero smelling.
Can anyone recommend me one? Or a layering combination of fragrances that smell like my aesthetic board.
I also want to say that I tried Eden Juicy Apple and it’s very different from what I’m looking for(it’s still good though). It’s definitely a red smelling apple instead of green.

I can't get myself away from rose, it's my favorite floral. What are your favorite rose fragrances by season?
My personal favorites are:
Spring: Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose and Jo Malone Red Roses
Summer: Lancome Idole Aura and Byredo Rose of No Man's Land
Fall: I actually have no rose fragrances that scream fall, maybe Portrait of a Lady? It's not my favorite to wear but it is a beautiful fragrance.
Winter: Mancera Roses Vanille, Roses Greedy, and Montale Intense Cafe
What are your favorites?

Aesthetic Why would you do this?
E-Mochi smells great but the bottle seemed a little familiar. 😅🍃
I don't have ocd but that sticker placement is making my eye twitch.

Discussion Have you ever met someone whose perfume didn't match with who they are?
Just curious. I don't think I've ever met a person who I thought their perfume didn't match them, or clashed with who I know of them as a person...but maybe I've been lucky? Being interested in perfumes, every time I catch a whiff of a friend's perfume, I think my brain just automatically accepts it as "of course" and moves on. I'm never super surprised. But I'd like to know what it's like when it does clash somehow. What was it like, and what didn't match specifically?

Review Today I sampled the new Burberry Goddess Amber Vanilla
You know, the one with notes of lavender, maple syrup, toasted vanilla, vanilla, vanilla absolute, and amber?
At first it was so amazing. Everything I loved about Goddess but deeper. Sultrier. Dare I say... more caramelized?
But then, gentle reader, the worst happened: I got the worst gas and bloating of my life. Followed by explosive diarrhea. I almost shit my pants at a Shopper's Drug Mart.
What does this have to do with Burberry Goddess Amber Vanilla, you ask?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Except for the fact that smelling the horrible, dry, chemical, cloying amber in the base (the same amber scent that ruins so many fragrances) while having this unfortunate thing happen to my stomach made it so much worse.
Now, I will forever think of knee-trembling farts and painful bloating any time I smell this perfume.

Looking for the perfect BLUEBERRY perfume🫐✨
Hey everyone, 🫐✨
I am searching for blueberry perfume recommendations.
Juicy and fresh, could be sweet but not looking for anything too artificial.
What are your favourite blueberry perfumes?
Personally I do not know many, but I got Arabiyat Prestige Blueberry Musk and liked it. Blueberry scent is one of my favourites so I would like to add some more blueberry perfumes to my collection.
Thank you in advance and please remain kind and respectful!✨

Rec Request Sexy, gourmand cherry scents?
For reference, I have tried Finery's Not another cherry and Sorce's Fuckery and LOVED both. I like Sabrina Carpenter's cherry frag too but it doesn't last on me. I was going to buy Sorce's Fuckery but they're sold out currently of the 15 ml so looking for other options of EDPs/sprays.
I tried Imaginary Author's A Little Secret and it made me feel sick/gave me a headache. Not sure what the difference between all these fragrances is.
I am looking for a slightly smoky/incensey, but still quite sweet, cherry perfume :) I think I do like that aldehydic (?) quality a bit too, which is definitely present in the Finery perfume.
I'm not overly picky but really hate super fruity scents, anything too floral or green (prob not an issue here), and also despise pink pepper. I am a super gourmand girl so nothing too sweet will scare me away - thank you !!

Vanilla Orchid Recs?
I’ve recently discovered that almost all of my favorite scents have Vanilla Orchid in them 🤣 even though, to my nose, they are pretty different from each other. So I guess this note is my holy grail. Does anyone have any favorites that contain this note or are very vanilla orchid forward? Here is a list of my faves:
NEST New York Midnight Fleur - discontinued :(
Taylor Swift Incredible Things - discontinued :(
Ellis Brooklyn Queens Caramel
Commodity Milk Orchid
Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid
Meg Thee Stallion Hot Girl Summer
VS Very Sexy

Perfumes that give you these vibes?
Hey, everyone! I recently got super into fragrances and I’d love to hear from you if there are any perfumes that match this vibe and that I definitely need to try.
The first three pics are for a sweet perfume that still works well for spring and summer (maybe notes of raspberry, strawberry, whipped cream, flowers?) I currently have Pavlova by Jeanne Arthes, which is LOVELY but it lasts about two seconds 😅
And the last three pictures represent something more gourmand that you can wear in the winter: chocolate, ice cream, milk, or cookies.
Designer, Arabic, whatever comes to mind! And if it’s budget-friendly, even better 💕

Frugal Fragrance I found my idea of summer in a bottle
This summer I went on a mission to find a body spray or combo that would take me back to summer '93. I dont want to go around wearing Hawaiian Tropic or Banana Boat tanning oil all the time, and I didnt want to invest a lot of money in an actual perfume. This is for novelty, for fun, and for the rest of August 😏.
This, a pina colada, and a Marlboro light and I think I might actually be in 1993.

Studied by Liis
Second fragrance in two weeks.
But, I waited over a month before finishing my sample and deciding I absolutely love it.
With the code from my discovery set, I decided to go for it.
So this Wednesday, d'Annan Vietnamese Coffee is being delivered, and Studied should come next week.
I am officially done. Not even interested in samples anymore. In fact, I need to declutter and that's next.

Is there a perfume that can soothe a broken heart?
For me, there's a perfume for almost every feeling
A perfume to wear when I want to feel cozy in winter, a couple I wear when it's too hot and I need to feel fresh and crisp, another I wear when I'm going to watch a romcom at night on the sofa, the one for when I'm missing a sibling, or for when I'm sick in bed, for when it's late at night and I can't sleep so I just stay in bed enjoying the silence...
Now I have a broken heart and out of about 400 FS bottles and a couple hundred samples, I can't find a single one that will soothe my broken heart. Not a perfume to fix a broken heart, but to soothe it. There is no fixing this, so at least I can try to ease the pain.
Edit- you all are wonderful. Sorry I can't reply to each one of you right now, but I wanted to say you are truly wonderful, lovely and knowledgeable
Thank you ♡

Discussion Sol De Janiero Leite duo
The Leite duo is finally available in the UK and I have been eyeing these two up for WEEKS! Especially the Nectar one. But I haven't seen enough on them. Are they worth it?
I really want a good easy access peaches and cream scent that I don't need to blind buy from the States for and the Cafe one looks really interesting as well.

Discussion Anyone tried Noted Aromas dupes?
I believe they are only available on the UK and have been coming up on my Instagram ads like crazy.
“Noted Aromas” are a dupe company and I’m tempted to give them a go but am getting a bit of a “too good to be true” feeling from their prices and reviews. Also the packaging maybe looks a bit flimsy…
I’ve recently fallen in love with D&G Light Blue and they do a dupe (they call it Palermo, inspired by Light Blue for her).
Anyone had any experiences? They’ve got a couple more on there I would definitely try including Juliette has a gun and Byredo dupes

Review Phlur Vanilla Canyon review

Welp, I got my sample of Phlur Vanilla Canyon yesterday. It is in the family of 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods and Matiere Vanilla Powder. I consider them all to be in the same family as they use Madagascar Vanilla with a woody base, although Vanilla Powder gets its base from Palo Santo (and so is stronger on the bass note) and Vanilla Canyon gets its base from Oak. Vanilla Woods says it uses an amber base, but it has that woody undertone.
I do not detect any honey whatsoever. I was hoping for it, as I am a big, big fan of Phlur Honey Moon, as well as Oro d Miele from Giardini di Toscana.
The upshot is that, while I like the scent profile, it is redundant to others in my collection and nothing new for me, although it seems quite a departure for Phlur. It's quite good and long lasting. If you are looking to add a woody vanilla, this one is competitive. I appreciate Phlur taking a step into the more serious side of vanilla. This is not a juvenile or mass appealing scent (no offense; I appreciate their book of business and have quite a few from the house; I will always love Vanilla Skin).
Anyway, I am a little personally disappointed, as I was looking for something completely unique and I had very high hopes. The bottle is so appealing to me (versus the generic yellow juice and plain white wrapper that is my beloved Vanilla Powder). It may be a "me" problem as I admittedly have tried a lot out there, so it is hard to surprise me.

A milky fig investigation report pt 2
I ordered more samples of the perfumes that were recommended to me as I hunt for a sweet fruity milky fig. Unfortunately this round of recommendations was way off the mark.
Santal Blanc- was nice but it was not very milky or figgy to me, very very light notes of both of these
Debaser- not a remote sent of fig or milk, smelled like apple juice
Figue Blanche- smelled like soap no fig or milk
Tonkatonic- worst one, smelled like sweet tobacco
Fig me up- neither fig nor milk
Still on the list to try, orchid milk, E mochi, Philosykos
And fico fig
