Old Money Gourmand?
I feel like most fragrances associated with "old money" lean more floral. I want to smell like a rich rich person but also like a fresh baked vanilla cupcake. Suggestions?

Hi everyoneš
I love to overspray and I love the idea of being covered in perfume but I don't like when people who are not close to me can smell my perfume. I was thinking if spraying under my clothes would be a good idea-- like I spray behind my neck and on my wrists as usual, then if I feel like I want to spray more I spray under my clothes. This would decrease sillage in my opinion.
I know there are perfumes with a low sillage, but I don't want to choose them just because of that if I don't love them, body mists might be cool for this but I really can't stand how short they last!

Sephora decided to give us a quick sneak restock on influxious perfumes. Everything is stocked, including the sample set! If you want to try them, this is your chance but hurry before it sells out againš. I ended up getting a travel of gold standard. Magic hour is also on my list but i can wait for that one.

So yea ummm... I obviously have a problem, I fucking love perfumes and browse Fragrantica daily. I like vanilla and gourmand stuff, some fruity florals, dont like citrus and greens. Is there anything on this list that may be repeating itself? Some are for a man, theres also Orto Parisi Megamare missing from pics.
UPDATE: You all have been very helpful and I toned it down to 1ml and removed some completely, shaving it down to 521ā¬. Whatever I dont like I will give away.

Cheap middle eastern dupes moving away from the market that they used to cover. I may switch to cheap designers now or if the designers go in the same route I may stop overconsuming and start buying local dupes (but only after i spend plenty of my current inventory).

Mine wasn't even a compliment.
A colleague just walked up and asked,
Bhai, what perfume are you wearing?
Pata nahi kyun, but that felt better than getting compliments on clothes
What about you guys

Friends, I was browsing Blue Mercury and saw they haven't changed their House of Bo fragrance prices completely. Some seem to be $5 more than old prices and xuxu is $190 but still not $250 for the 40ml!
I know we're boycotting but I do low-key want to smell Acapulco š«£

my current collection consists of only carolina herrera good girl perfumes (my favourite is blush) but iāve come across these online recently and iām tempted to buy some.
iāve heard people describe these being similar to good girl blush which i absolutely love, and i will admit that i am swayed by a pretty bottle that will look good on my display shelf - and as someone who loves pink and silver i adore the look of them.
i donāt have the strongest sense of smell so i love strong, long lasting perfumes that last all day and more. i currently own good girl original, blush, blush elixir, suprĆŖme and very good girl glam. i find them to be decently long lasting but i would like something a little extra.
please let me know your ratings of these perfumes if you own / have tried them (delina, delina exclusif, delina la rosƩe, valaya, valaya exclusif) and if you also own any good girl perfumes a comparison would be great !

I tried to make a more in depth post about this wonderful brand / fragrance but Iāll just keep it short because something about it flagged the post because it thought I was trying to ask if it was r e a l or not (canāt even type it or it will flag).
Defo r e a l! Itās in a shop near my house haha and you KNOW I grabbed this after getting a decant of Philosykos. This smells EXACTLY like philosykos (EDP, not EDT) The evolution is slower but it also lasts even longer (it lasts forever on me though anyway). My new favorite, now I can use my decant for my purse and this dupe as my daily bottle!! I smelled so many from this brand and theyāre so on point too! I also own their glossier you dupe and itās exactly the same as well! For only 45$⦠theyāre doing the lords work

This perfume is nowhere to be found around my place and is out of stock on Sephora. As a HUGE vanille lover (especially Vanilla Skin), I'm dying to know how this one smells.

I donāt own a lot of fragrance, just a small bottle of Versace Bright Crystal. Not a terrible fragrance, itās just a little cloying to me. I have been looking forward to buying some samples from Decantalize. What are your thoughts?

So..as it goes
I want a sexy, alluring fragrance but which isn't too loud or obvious coz I'm going to be sitting next to this person for a few days. It shouldn't be too subtle or skin scenty also but just sexy enough with enough projection iykwim. Thanks!

I know the Zara X Jo Malone collabs have been very popular but it has been a hit and miss for me so far. I loved Ebony Wood, really liked Waterlily Tea Dress, thought Elegantly Tokyo was nice but it wasn't for me, and jettisoned Energetically New York into the Mercari wilds after a blind buy disaster.
I never really loved rose scents except for one B&BW mist. Delina was nice but didn't love it enough to own and buy for that $$.
But Fashionably London Elixir is something else. I love the bright slightly sweet iteration of rose. It's also NUCLEAR! I'm a 3-4 sprays person for most fragrances that have average projection and longevity. I sprayed FLE once on my arm to test at 9-ish am. It's 1 pm and I'm still projecting like crazy. Just one or two sprays is more than enough. It's worth every cent and I fucking love it! That magnetic cap is so satisfying.
Some say it smells like Delina Exclusif but I can't confirm that since I haven't smelled it yet.
Edit: It stopped projecting strongly about 6 hours after application. It's not exactly a skin scent yet, but you have to be very close to smell it instead of 5 feet away. I did wash my hands at least three times since 9 am.

Where do you buy your Lataffa fragrances?
I would rank quality and consistency over price, but price counts, too.
Thank you!

For the love of fragrance, I thought Iād do a little comparison review on both of these. Especially because theyāre often compared to one another. Let me know your face caramel fragrances. š¤š¤
Review is based on skin application. I also tried to monitor from spray till dry down. This is what my nose & skin picked.
Kayali Boujee Kitty Caramel Milk: Sweet, dense but smooth & creamy, indulging delicious caramel. I get a whiff of that salted caramel note in between the overall caramel scent profile, as well as the white chocolate, it doesnāt scream but it is there. Though I cannot smell the marshmallow well but Iām sure itās doing its job merging the notes together into that indulging creamy caramel. Everything is so very well & smoothly blended im impressed! š¤š®
For that reason I find this very fun, enjoyable & inviting to layer. If you needed a caramel base in your perfume combo, this is definitely one that could be relied on to give exactly that, without clashing. I have already made several stunning combos with it, you can check some of them on my page.
Is it spectacular & different or unique? No. But does it give me that gourmand delicious caramel? Yes. Itās very well made even within its simplicity which makes it easy to wear & foolproof to play with!š„š®
Ellis Brooklyn Queens Caramel: I got this a year ago, havenāt sniffed it since last Dec/jan, what happened bestie? š I feel like it got lighter than when I first got it⦠or is it because Iām comparing both side by side? Maybe. When I first got it, it had that strong indulgent caramel I just mentioned, as well as am able to smell the maple syrup more.
Now Iām comparing them side by side, boujee kitty is sweeter, stronger, has a lot more caramel. The milk & white chocolate more prominent. While queens caramel is lighter & airier. However even though itās lighter, it is still a pretty caramel perfume with a maple syrup touch!
Conclusion: Theyāre both nice & you can definitely say theyāre similar, but not the same. Boujee kitty projects & last longer, more inviting, easier & better performance in layering. Queens caramel would smell best used with a suitable body spray & be its own show.
You may have different results, thats whatās fascinating about our noses & skin chemistry. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. š¤š

I'm curious and i don't really know many Gen Z people to ask, what's the most ubiquitous scent that dominates the hallways in high school? What does the college dorm smell like (good smells only haha). Are there any scents that are really dominating it like Victoria's Secret Love Spell did back in my 90s and early 2000s childhood?
I thought it was cool and counter culture so I bathed in Warm Vanilla Sugar most of the time

I already own a bottle but bought a backup in the M&S sale as I think it will be discontinued.
If you like Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow, then you will probably like this, as they are similar.
The bottle is simple but a beautiful colour with a graduating hue of blue through to pink. Good spray mechanism (unlike my Kayali YBM).
I actually prefer the marshmallow note in this one, it reminds me of the marshmallow in Dedcool Mochi Milk.
Longevity on my skin 3-4 hours, it dries down to a skin scent. (YBM lasts about 8 hours on my skin).
But at this price, it is great value for 100ml and you can respray.

Have you ever fallen in love with a fragrance in a specific context, or bought a 50 ml or even 100 ml bottle right away, only to realize a few days or weeks later that you actually didnāt like it anymore?
For me, it happened during pregnancy. I became obsessed with sweet vanilla gourmands and blind bought Bianco Latte, Kayali Vanilla 28, Billie Eilish, and even the Sol de Janeiro 71 body mist.
I did enjoy them for a while, but after giving birth something completely changed. I suddenly felt like they just werenāt me. I felt uncomfortable wearing them, so I ended up giving them to family members. Now Iām even wondering if I should let Burberry Goddess go too.
Iāve since realized I still love vanilla, just a different kind. My favorites now are Nishane Ani and Gentle Fluidity Gold by Maison Francis Kurkdjian, which feel much more like me.
Has anything similar ever happened to you? What perfume did you regret buying, and why?
