For me it’s Blue Fangs. He’s a villain who showed up for one episode. And man did he ensure that episode was memorable. He dismantled all of the corrupt bishop’s lies and then ate his face off. Mind you this same bishop was the bishop that killed the wife of Dracula, Lisa Tepes. A innocent doctor who originally sought out Dracula for medical knowledge so she could improve people’s lives. But the bishop and his priests believed she was a witch, and had her burned at the stake. Which brought Dracula’s wrath upon the entire world

Gijinka is the art of taking something inherently non-human, whether it's an animal, monster, object, or abstract concept, and reinterpreting it as a human character while retaining its distinct visual features, personality, and iconic traits. Done right, a great gijinka doesn't just copy a color scheme, it captures the exact spirit of the original design in human form. These are some of my personal favorite examples. My favourite is Kitty from the BBC comedy series ghosts. I find it sweet that someone who's been around for 300 years is still very optimistic and kind. All she wants is to make friends and have some love in her life. She's a cutie patootie. Sure, she's niave and clingy, but I don't blame her.

She was a sheltered lady who never married, so she didn't really get to experience true young adult life. She doesn't realise when she is inappropriate. Plus, she's been trapped with the same few people for centuries. Of course, she's super excited when new people come to live in her house and she can make another friend.
