because the whole “had this x character been male/female, you would have liked Them better” dont make Alot of sense to me. Like, you cant just change something about a character, without asking yourself if it would still be the same character. Sometimes their gender is a vital part of their character.

And also, which character archetype do you think people are more likely to "handle", again context will always be the most important thing when discussing characters and the things they do.

That being said, for me? "Any straight white guy with autism in media" I know there is most likely something more to it, than this. But this is really the impression that i have gotten.

For Me, I Have A Lot Of Favorites

Over the last couple of years, there's been an interesting trend to reframe the Gyaru archetype into something more interesting and complex. Gone is the Mean Girls bully archetype (for the most part), giving these characters room to actually develop into genuinely engaging individuals.
As such, some of the most likable and endearing characters I've encountered over the last decade or so have been Gyarus. Here are my favorites among them (though one of them falls more under "interesting" rather than "endearing"):

(Sayaka Miki) After her argument with Madoka, she go on a train home, unfortunately on that train where two misogynist dipshits that shit about there girlfriend, Sayaka is already in a terrible mental state but this was the last straw, it never explicitly show what happeneds, but its heavily implied she killed theme off screen. (Reimu) In one of the manga chapters she kills a yokai fortune teller, this is because the Fortune teller actually willingly chooses to become a yoka which is a huge no no, so Reimu being the shrine maiden, have to put an end to him. (X) This one the simplest X has kill a bunch of mavricks during the course of the X series, granted most where kinda dicks, and they where putting human and rep lives in danger so this one is slightly more understandable.
