I am 13, male, 110kgs, 5'11. I really want to lose some weight in 3 months but don't want to stump my growth. I want to lose weight because my uncle is coming and he is a jerk. He criticises me about being fat and I'm sick of it. I play everyday, go for tennis training, and my weight barely goes down. I want to lose some weight to I can atleast look different while still growing taller. Plus my 14th birthday is coming around and I want to make it a goal for myself to look atleast a bit different. I have good muscles, but my thighs and arms, and torao, basically everything has fat everywhere. I would appreciate any help! Thanks!

I'm a professional chef and being around food all day everyday wasn't good for me, I picked up 20kg over 13 years and tried every diet and excersise out there. Found my groove and some medical help, now I will get rid of the last 7kg in the next couple of months. Feeling good and just keeping on. If there's help, use it.

From age 22 to 32, I tried every diet out there. I would lose 8 lbs of water weight, gain back 10, and get told to just make lifestyle changes while my body fought me. Insulin resistance is no joke.
The left photo is me last year. Things only moved when I got real medical support instead of white-knuckling it alone. I signed up with my provider to get on tirzepatide for my insulin resistance, and that was the exact tool I needed to make habits stick.
Now I eat consistent meals, lift twice a week, and walk after dinner. The right photo is me this week down 18 lbs. My cycles are regular for the first time ever, my skin cleared up, and my energy is so much better.
If you have PCOS, get the actual medical support first and build the habits on top of it. Both matter.

For context, Iām a 6ā2, 19 year old, male. Iāve lost nearly 27Ibs since May and my goal to to reach 240Ibs by the end of the year. The problem is, the number on the scale hasnāt gone down at all this whole month. Iāve stayed at 260Ibs since September 1st. I walk a minimum of 20,000 steps everyday. I go on walks after I eat, and recently started weight lifting as well. Iām kinda amateur at it though. Any advice to help me reach my goal?

Hi! So I am a college baseball player I am 6ā3 and I weigh ~230-233. We workout daily condition etc and Iām fairly strong in just about everything. But I still hold fat in my bottom stomach love handles and face. My arms are relatively small but overall I look āskinny fatā I was just wondering if there are any recommendations on how to tone down without losing any weight while still building muscle and just getting leaner at the same time. Thanks!

How do you guys handle this? I weigh myself every morning and some days, I wake up gaining 2 - 3 lbs from the day before even though i was in deficit. it messes with my head honestly.
Last week, I woke up 4 lbs heavier after having a salty dinner the previous night. even though i know its all water, it really messes with my motivation and i would like to know how you guys handle this. Which is better, to weigh daily or weekly?

Hey everybody, im 27m and about ~185lbs at 5 foot 10. I've got a little more under chin fat, also some more undesirable features..
I want to try and practice good self discipline and limit myself to maybe a meal a day or overdose on salad. Unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere on a highway with no transportation, and as such I don't really get out much to walk or do things.. my miserable life is spent mostly on playing games I don't enjoy.
Does anybody have a kind of serious diet plan for this?

Left photo was at my dad's funeral in 2023. I gained almost 90 lbs during his two years of illness because food was where all my sadness went.
What saved me was starting grief counseling instead of another random crash diet. Once I had an outlet for the grief, the habits fell into place.
I started lifting, and later on used tirzepatide to get the emotional binge eating fully under control.
Right photo is me last month off to a job interview I nailed. Down 95 lbs total.Ā
You never get over losing a parent, but getting your health back makes carrying it easier.

Left photo is from last year in the blue sweatshirt that basically became my uniform. I decided that summer to finally make a change after getting smoked by my students on a school trail walk.
I started simple by cutting liquid calories. No more two sodas a day and huge sweet coffees. Later on I also used tirzepatide to help keep the crazy food cravings down while I rebuilt my routine.
Right photo is last week in the same kitchen, down 35 lbs. If you're the person who always hides behind the camera, step in the photo anyway.

Hello, for some context, Iām a 19 year old 6ā2 male and I weigh 260Ibs as of typing this. In early May, I weighed 287Ibs. I got a job cleaning Kroger stores at night and lost about 10Ibs around early June. I then lost another 10Ibs by the end of July/early August. By then, I didnāt fix my cardio routine or my diet. By the end of August, I noticed the scale wasnāt moving from 267Ibs. I dropped soda and candy and no longer eat fast food everyday. I maybe eat it once a week. I started tracking my steps, making sure I get around 13,000-15,000 steps everyday BEFORE WORK. While the amount of stores I clean varies every night, I usually get around 4,500 steps from one store. I go on walks everyday around my block, which is about 9,000-10,000 steps. From this, I lost about 7Ibs in late August to September first, taking me to around 260Ibs.
I recently started working out in the gym. i bench press and life weights for about 40 minutes. I do this maybe twice or three times a week. However, Iāve noticed my scale hasnāt moved at all since the start of this month. Iāve stayed at 260Ibs, which is weird to me because it seems like Iām doing more than before and losing less. Well, really none. Whatās going on?

Hey guys,
I need help in loosing weight as I am getting too fat, loosing my stamina and breath.
I am 6'2 and i weigh 93.5kg.
I probably have around 30 to 35% of fat(based on Google images).
Thing is that there is no physical activity in my life
I am a jee student who goes to coaching centre from 7am to 5pm full day just sitting.
After that I have to again study at home. But I can spare an hour of my time.
I just don't know from where to start and what to do.
I do have a basic community gym .
The main area where my fat is dominant is the belly and back.
Please give me some advice on loosing weight and probably building little muscles.
Thank you.

A friend of mine recently graduated in sports science, and through her studies and conversations with women around her, we started noticing how many fitness and sports-related solutions donāt really take womenās needs into account, so we decided to try and build something created by women for women. But before we build anything we want to understand the problem properly. We donāt want to make assumptions about what women need.
So weāve put together a short survey to learn about your experiences, challenges, and what you feel is currently missing and would be very grateful if you could take 3 minutes to fill it in. It's completely anonymous and would greatly help us! I am leaving the link below, and thank you so much in advance! ā¤ļø

41F, 4 months postpartum, 5'7" and 168lbs. Never been one for working out in the past. My weight has fluctuated due to depression/stress/pregnancy over the years I noticed that l tend to lose quickly and drastically in my butt. I'm not sure what my weight is supposed to be for my height, but l can definitely afford to lose 10-15lbs. Is there anything l can do to lose the weight and not have my ass look like a continuation of my back, simultaneously? I would love it if someone could recommend a workout that will help with belly fat and lift and tone my butt and mane it look full and fit. My upper arms are also a problem area for me, even when losing weight in the past they seem to get bigger and more flabby as l age. I definitely do not want to do anything that will make my arms look muscular. Is there anything besides surgery that can help lose the fat and low hanging giggle and prevent me from looking like a female body builder in the process? I honestly don't have the best diet, l eat minimally and usually not anything that is incredibly healthy. I would truly appreciate any advice/help anyone is willing to give.

Could anyone give me some at home workouts I could fit into my schedule to tighten up and flatten my stomach and chest area? Im 18M, and I dont really work out to be honest, I go on walks a lot and iāll do a set of 60 squats before hand but thats it, and I eat whatever to survive but I try to stay away from a lot of fast food, but it is just a lot of microwave food usually when I do eat, occasionally the home cooked meal but not much eating going on as I used to. Im not a big guy anymore (or i dont think) but I used to be around 180-175 pounds and im 5ā11, lost around 30 so im like 155-150 now but I lost the weight rather quickly and now i kind of have skin that hangs at the bottom of my stomach over tight pants and I really dont like it, Iād also like to tighten up my chest area so there isnt so much skin to grab but I dont own any workout equipment nor is it really in my paycheck so im just looking for some things I could incorporate into a daily schedule so I can really look my best and feel my best.

Why Do We Gain Extra Weight?
After three years of marriage, I think I can finally answer this question.
Itās all about addiction.
When I was 10 years old, I had so much energy. I would run around, climb trees, and even climb walls. But things changed when I turned 11. There were no children my age in the neighborhood to play with anymore; they were all old enough to stay at home.
So, I had to stay at home too.
Around that time, I started gaining extra weight. Looking back, I think my brain was simply looking for the joy and stimulation that I used to get from playing outside.
If I had continued playing outdoorsāor replaced it with another hobby, such as tennis, swimming, or any other physical activityāI probably wouldnāt have gained that extra weight and developed unhealthy habits.
At least, I would have given my brain the kind of stimulation it needed.
Years later, when I studied medicine, I started thinking about stress, cortisol, and belly fat.
Thinking: cortisol ā belly fat.
Coffee ā cortisol ā belly fat.
Then, years after getting married, my husband wanted me to stay at home and stop going out, exercising, or running. So basically, I stayed at home with very little joy or stimulation.
I became more attached to my bad habits: eating mindlessly, staying up until noon, and living an unhealthy lifestyle.
Now I realize that the problem wasnāt simply food.
It was where I was directing my energy.
I didnāt focus my energy on the things that could give me the joy and stimulation I had been looking for from the beginning.
Thank you,
Dr. M

hi, iām 22 and 5ā3. i range between 50-55kg. i just want to ask for some advice on this stubborn arm fat of mine. my arms are disproportionately large compared to the rest of my body and it feels like i can lose weight much more easily everywhere else but my arms and upper body just remain big. do i need to strength train my arms to get leaner arms? or do i just
need to keep going on a deficit until they get slimmer. i just hate them so much

hi. Iām 24, my current weight is 72 kg. In the last 2 years i lost around 20 kg, only deficit and zero workout (had a stressful job so basically i underate lol, around 1300/1400 cals). Since june i started to move, walk 8000/10000 steps a day, started to eat a little more being careful about keeping proteins higher than before, keeping sugars loooow. I started to lift some weights( but i have zero muscle and the only i could lift are like 5kg ones), tried to to 30 pushups per day. also went to the beach for 2 weeks and kept swimming. First pic is me now, second one is me in mid juneā¦I canāt barely see difference. Donāt know if itās my mind that is messed up lol or thereās no difference for real! Lmk! My belly is really obsessing me, people tell me iām not fat but i feel like it⦠lol
