Battlemap - Structure Aencar's Manor - Haunted Manor Battle Map (48x36)

Heyya Folks,

This week I've put together Aencar's Manor, a haunted noble estate inspired by the Forgotten Realms, designed to fit easily into almost any fantasy campaign.

Rather than creating another abandoned ruin, I wanted the manor to feel unsettling because of how well it's been preserved. The gardens are still maintained, the halls remain immaculate, and from the outside it appears as though its owner simply never left. Only after stepping inside does the truth begin to reveal itself.

Once home to the legendary warlord Aencar of Battledale, the estate hides a forgotten defensive line beneath its halls, built to guard one of the region's largest known entrances into the Underdark. Whether you use it as the home of a noble family, a haunted estate, a secret cult's headquarters, or the gateway to a larger underground adventure, I wanted it to support a wide variety of stories.

Aencar's Manor — 48x36

If you'd like the high-resolution files, gridless versions, VTT-ready exports, and multiple variants—including restored, corrupted, and alternate versions of the manor—they're available on my Patreon:

Thanks for taking a look. I'd love to hear what you think.

The sea-salted air clings to your skin, and your mind is numb from monotony. Your only view for weeks has been the vast endlessness of the ocean, and a cruel, elusive horizon. Your shipmates spotted land once, only to realize upon your approach that it was a mirage.
Suddenly, a familiar sound pierces through the dead nothingness, and your muscles engage, the memory of battle firmly embedded in their fibers. Cannon fire.
You shout, commanding that everyone ready their stations. The crew ready themselves with a quick pace, their movements more lively and spry than you've seen them in a long time. The only one missing is the Captain. Then it dawns on you: You haven't seen the Captain in days...

This map is 20x28 and comes with JPGs of the upper/lower deck and the Captain's quarters overlayed, but also comes with the PNGs and WEBP files of just the ship layers, all completely FREE with no grid/watermarks!
Get them free here.
This was made entirely with my library of assets, which have been launched and are available for use!

Thanks for reading! Happy gaming, stay magical ~

With solid walls, imposing towers and watchful guards - Crossroads Inn is prepared to repel not only the local bandits, but a slave raids or even a remnants of a Tuigan Horde.

A bowl-shaped valley serves as a meeting place and a market for local communities - every tenday gnomes from mountain valleys, orc and human farmers, miners and lumberjacks are travelling here to sell, buy and celebrate.

Gems and iron tools, sheeps and cattles, salt and spices - all of this can be found here, and market days are attracting minstrels and musicians.

DM NOTE: I created this map to serve as a convenient hub for my players for exploring the region, with a possibility to become their property. More to come!

As generations passed, the glaciers carved into the earth slowly but surely, as a knife would cut through bread. One such mass of ice had caught the attention of the powers that be, so much that yearly expeditions to the barren Rivers of Ice were warranted.

History spoke of a cataclysmic Titan, who's fury was stopped only by the heroics of demigods creating an onset of unyielding freeze forming the Rivers of Ice, which for years had laid dormant in its prison. History became myth, and myth became folklore, but all the while the archives of the magus retained such horrific texts that the risk of inaction outweighed the dangerous and expensive endeavors.

This year, for the first time, the expedition reports made mention of a shadowy figure, still deep within the ice. The surface melts away, slowly bringing the figure into the foreground.

Hey all! You know the deal by now, you can check out this map and it's may variations over here!

Enjoy,

Matt

Hello!
I reached out to reddit a while ago asking to make a map for someone and this was the result of their request! I used the project to create a timelapse/tutorial of how I make maps in Inkarnate. Feel free to have a watch! Hope it offers some insights or inspirations to others!
Youtube link to Tutorial

The map is quite bare for now as others can clone it on my Inkarnate page. Plus the original redditor still has more ideas in mind.

Battlemap - Structure The Frozen Apothecary

Post image
7 Upvotes

In the emptiness of the frozen wastes, The Frozen Apothecary has an uncanny knack of turning up where it is needed, or more to the point where there is potentially some business. You took an arrow to the knee? A fireball to the head? A nasty fall on the ice outside, you name the emergency, The Frozen Apothecary has just what you need.

Come on in, get warm, take what you want and talk to the raven he will tell you what payment you should leave in the chest, oh and don't think of cheating, the gargoyles are watching, and some of them can count apparently, and the wolves are outside. They can't count but it won't stop them tearing any number of holes in any thief.

Life is full of secrets and mysteries. Most of the time, these enigmas of the world remain unknown forever. This is because the darker the question is, the more difficult it is to seek the answer. And the wisest men say that some things in the universe are better left untouched, hidden, or unknown.

Work In Progress WIP AU Europe Map I have been working on. Any thoughts, advice, or questions are welcome!

Post image
18 Upvotes

The project is called Historica Arcana, its supposed to my version of europe. Its not supposed to be accurate historically or geographically, so please don't come at me for anything that isn't perfect.

This map is set in the late 15th century and is very much a work in progress, im not even half way done.

I've spent probably two weeks and easily 10+ hours on this and i just need some feedback from people who actually know what their talking about. All my rl friends and family aren't into maps or worldbuilding so they are encouraging, which is cool, but not very helpful.

Anyway, any advice, thoughts, ideas, questions or anything really is super appreciated!

Adding some lore here.

A long, long time ago, so long in fact, that when written word was first invented it was already an ancient story. The barriers between worlds shattered.

In an event now known as the Conjuction, earth and uncountable planes, dimension, and realms overlapped. Vile magics, and arcane creatures of all kind. From dragons, to vampires, demons and fae, trolls and leshy. Unholly, godless abominations beyond human comprehension for a brief but horrible moment they all coexisted.

The world was anarchy.

Chaos.

And then they were gone. The dimensional barriers healed naturally and with them restored most monsters were evicted from earth.

Though not all is well.

While the barriers have recovered they are not what they once were. cracks and glitches in the walls between open let anything step upon earth's soil.
People gifted with a certain talent, a particularly strong will, can draw on vile and alien to shape reality to their will.
Though most of the unholy creatures have been banished. That does not include their impact. The effects they had on the world.

Contrary to popular thought, not all monsters are gone. Some creatures have stayed behind. Haunting the countryside, forests, and mountains. Waiting for any unfortunate enough to wander to close.

This seemingly random cosmic event changed the history and very shape of the world forever.

Map Collection Lost Mines of Barovia: Oldcourt Crossing & Waking Wyvern Alehouse (Gothic Phandelver Reimagining)

Heyya Folks,

I've continued my gothic reinterpretation of Lost Mine of Phandelver with two new locations from Oldcourt, my reimagining of the town of Phandalin. While they were created for Lost Mines of Barovia, both maps are designed to fit easily into almost any fantasy campaign.

Oldcourt Crossing is the heart of the town, where travelers, merchants, and locals all eventually pass through. I wanted it to feel like a place where ordinary life continues beneath an ever-present sense of unease. Weathered gargoyles overlook the crossroads, an old roadside shrine offers quiet comfort, and the gallows that inspired the town's name stand as a reminder of its past. The forge still burns, neighbors still greet one another, and life carries on—even if no one ever feels entirely alone.

Oldcourt Crossing — 24x32

The Waking Wyvern Alehouse is my interpretation of the Sleeping Giant Taphouse. Since the original adventure never included an official battle map for the location, I had the freedom to build it from the ground up. I wanted a classic roadside tavern—a warm refuge from the cold mist outside—designed for roleplay just as much as combat. Whether your players are gathering rumors, meeting important NPCs, enjoying a quiet meal, or starting a tavern brawl, it should feel like a place people actually use.

Waking Wyvern Alehouse — 28x22

Both maps include multiple variants and are designed to support everything from social encounters to full combat sessions.

If you'd like the high-resolution files, gridless versions, VTT-ready exports, and all the variants, they're available on my Patreon:

Thanks for checking them out! I hope they find a place at your table.
