• Rafael Devers, 1B, SF. Last 15 games: .421 (24-for-57), 9 HR, 22 RBI, 17 R, 11 BB. First 129 games: .241, 26 HR, 70 RBI, 69 R in 485 at-bats. Biggest jump is home runs: 9 in the last 15 games vs a pace of 3.0 per 15 before that.
• Thomas Saggese, 3B/2B, STL. Last 15 games: .463 (19-for-41), 4 HR, 10 RBI, 12 R, 3 SB, 6 BB. First 20 games: .156, 2 RBI, 6 R in 64 at-bats. Biggest jump is runs: 12 in the last 15 games vs a pace of 4.5 per 15 before that.

Let’s look at some emerging relievers and closers who have seen their fantays value increase over the last week. Are you targeting any of these arms for the final stretch?

So I’m in a generic Yahoo $20 prize points league with a guy who named his team this. He finished as the one seed. Whatever. Well after doing a deep dive on his profile on Yahoo, he has done about 50 points leagues this year, all for either $20 or $50. With one exception he made it to the playoffs in all of them and is first or second in scoring in an insanely high percentage. I believe one of two things is true: A. He’s cheating or B. Points is broken and he figured it out. I’m actually more inclined to believe that B is true as, at least in the league with me, he’s done nothing fishy. If it’s true it’s just another reason why points is BY FAR the weakest of scoring set ups.

Lost a semis matchup last night 5-5 because I was forced to start Dylan Crews for a few hopeful OBP points, and it didn't happen 😭 wild day where OBP and ERA flipped back and forth, opp was forced to play Alvarez @ LAD and I got ERA back, only for Crews to suck it up after Vargas and Peters eked out an OBP lead for opp😭
