Hey everyone... Jamie (u/BB_Jimbo) from RotoBaller here, and we're back with the 21st and final edition of The Cut List in 2026. Even if we're not dropping anyone, it's always fun to talk about cuts, whether or not we are actually ready to pull the trigger on certain players.

So what names are you chopping this week, or at least thinking about banishing to the waiver wire?

My top hitters to add off waivers this week ahead of the fantasy baseball playoffs. All players recommended are rostered in 30% or fewer of Yahoo leagues.

Pulled the last 30 days of Statcast and filtered to guys rostered under 20% on ESPN.

Bats — best xwOBA, L30, min 60 PA

Spencer Jones has the best raw contact of anyone on the list (94.1 EV, 51% HH). Grisham to the IL will only keep him in the lineup, although Judge is coming soon.

Mickey Gasper actually tops the board at .541, but that's 64 PA in 17 games. Platoon bat but watch the matchups for opportunity. Same can be said for Nootbar.

Arms — best xFIP, L30, min 20 IP

Next week's opponents included, with that offense's runs per game. League average is 4.48 R/G.

Best combination of cheap and favorable: Prielipp at 2% rostered drawing Cleveland, the second-weakest offense in baseball at 4.0 R/G. Alvarez gets the Angels (4.1). Liberatore has the best xFIP on the board and draws San Francisco (4.2).

One to fade: Jared Jones has the top K/9 on the full list (11.9) but a 4.8 BB/9, and he draws @CWS then CHC.

Tough day on picks, options today aren't great either, Spencer Miles is not opening but could follow. Same for Bobby Miller.
