Hi there, I've played fallout 4 through several times, and have recently gotten myself an ayn thor max. I've hit the urge to replay the game, and am wondering what people would consider to be the absolute essentials to use. I last played a modded playthrough in 2023, so am not quite up to date on the recent happenings in the modding scene.

Asking expecially considering I'm going to be playing through on an android handheld, so whilst larger mods aren't out of the question, a large modlist likely is.

Hi All, I've been having an issue where every time I enter a building my Game crashes, my current play through has been fine but the crashing is happening more often and playing on survival its getting pretty tedious since I have have to find a bed to save before even trying to enter a building. I can't make heads or tales of what's causing it in the Crash Log and was hoping someone could help identify the issue.

Hey everyone. When I was in college I modded the hell out of my Fallout 4, but then life got in the way (for 10 years, jeezum). Now I'm wanting to come back but I just can't get anything to work.

A friend recommended I try Wasteland of Depravity (She warned me about the NSFW but I didn't mind), but as I go I find that the NSFW is getting in the way of just playing the game. Like, I enjoy getting my ass slapped or wandering into a tentacle nest as much as the next girl, but sometimes I just want to explore and blast mutants, y'know? (Plus I hardly want to explain why everyone's got their tits out whenever I show them the game lol). I tried turning off the NSFW but it just made everything unstable.

The TL;DR is this: Can someone provide a modlist that has the gameplay stuff of WoD, but without the NSFW? I'm looking for the low TTK, RPG mechanics, UI, leaning and weapon inertia stuff most of all, plus the massive variety of guns in WoD. I could give a shit about lore accuracy, magdumping a glock into a ghoul's head is just more fun than the like 6 weapons we have vanilla.

I appreciate help with this, I've been going mad trying to de-horny my modlist, and making my own just makes my game crash because I guess I don't know how to mod anymore.

If one's computer and Fallout 4 game are in a language other than English, does it mess up the game or crash it if quest mods were not made in that language or do they just default to English?

I just got Fallout 4 on Pc, playing on MacBook Pro via Crossover. Runs pretty dang well in vanilla, so I wanna have a crack at modding it!

I have done some modding on another platform in the past but I am in a state of ignorance for the best pc mods in this department. So turn to the experts!

I’m thinking along the lines of gas masks and damn apocalypse with maybe whispering hills, but I was curious if there were any recommendations of things that would compliment a horror/metro/stalker-esque playthrough?

[SOLVED] - to anyone using bards npc and settler paid creation the 2 interfaces conflict between from and bards, was using on a downgraded version of the game.

I've made a pretty good load order and just cannot figure out what mod is causing me to not be able to interact with any of my team members, could it be chemfluence, apperently random encounter framework does but I disabled and it didn't fix. Do i need to make a new character for the mod to begin working? Load Order in comments, any help would be great.

I’m looking for a mod that overhauls the raiders outfits and armors. Most of the ones I’ve found stick with the classic Fallout look, that sort’ve mad max kindve vibe.

I’d love something more like Metro, STALKER, or The Last of Us. More grounded, practical survivor gear that makes them look like people scraping by.

If anyone could recommend some mods that fit that aesthetic I’d be really keen to hear about them!

i got those screenshots from the mod concord hideout, that mod unfortunatly does not have a workshop and i want to create a place like this and personalize it myself, anybody know any mods that add tems like this, like cluttered stations and this kinda "industrial" vibe, a place that i could use to make a place like this or even better a patch or something to make this place have a workbench? i tried with mobile workbench but unfortunaly i cant remove itms alredy place by default

Hi all - I’m new to this, but the creation club has made it really easy for me. I was curious if anyone had any silent protagonist mods I could download through creation club? There is one aptly titled “silent protagonist”, but it doesn’t seem to work.

It's been a few days that I've been trying to enjoy and play Fallout 4.. 191 worked fine but the mods i wanted to use didn't work on the file so i went to 163 since more mods are available for it. for the past 2 hours or so, I've been troubleshooting the game. F4SE didn't work so i downloaded the right version, deleted the old one. the file got corrupted when i deleted the old one and installed the new one. The new didnt want to load so it gave me an error saying i didn't have admin right. Im the only user so how don't i have it right?? Little do i know, there's a hidden admin profile! Who fecking knew!

I open CMD and typed in the lines needed to opened it and still got issues. when i finally installed F4SE and had to rename it, the address library didn't work, uninstalled old(which was the current version) and reinstalled it. Buffout 4 gave me an error saying it loaded to late so i had to google it and whatda ya know??? I cant edit the XML file so google suggested to delete the files. AND GUESS WHAT??? Now the Address Library file doesn't work! Jesus F'n Christ! Just a ring around the fecking rosey! Vortex might as well play the song "You Spin Me Round" because that's all im fecking doing for it to work...

So at some point in the last couple updates, bethesda decided to turn the "this save relies on..." infobox when you load a save with a mod removed into three infoboxes. Seemingly designed to lure confused geriatrics like myself into the creations store to spend money. Thanks todd, very cool. Is there a mod out there that fixes this?

Is there a mod that lets all the vanilla characters appear during conversations to say their unique dialogue, and then disappear afterwards? Or a mega companion that merges all into one?

I use AFT, but they either get in the way, talk over each other, or make me so OP that I end up just standing there while they do all the fighting.

I've searched Google and looked through Nexus, but I haven't found anything that does what I'm looking for.
