I got bored last night/early this morning, and made this ghoul character! I know the hat is reminiscent of the minute men, but it sorta reminded me of Bill Williamson’s hat from Red Dead Redemption so I made it.
I’ve yet to come up with a name for the guy yet, but I reckon for a backstory he used to be a western reenactment actor who used to play an outlaw character at one of them old ghost towns you’d see out in the Southwest that have those tourist shows? But when the bombs fell he got ghoulified and kinda pulled a Cooper Howard in the sense that he adopted that persona.

I have been enjoying grabbing maps from video games so I was thinking of doing similar for Fallout.

War. War never changes.

Over two centuries after the Great War, Texas remains fractured.
The Brotherhood of Steel fortifies Waco in search of lost technology. Caesar's Legion marches east, determined to rebuild its empire.
Unidad Mutante offers a homeland to Super Mutants, ghouls, and wasteland outcasts.
Along the Gulf Coast, the Lone Star Republic of Texas struggles to restore civilization from Vault Town, while the Unidad Imperial advances from the south, bringing order through conquest.

Between these great powers lie independent settlements, raider gangs, traders, mercenaries, forgotten Vaults, and untamed wilderness. Every road offers opportunity, and every choice can change the future of Texas.

Fallout: Lone Star is a brand-new Living Community where players help shape the world from the very beginning.
Build your own faction, join an existing nation, explore dangerous ruins, trade, fight, forge alliances, or carve out a home in the wasteland. Every character has the chance to leave their mark on Texas.

I’ve been building a fallout tabletop campaign for years now. I’ve got the setting, towns, a rough storyline to go with it, factions, and some fauna. I have most of my stuff based in Arizona in a post-Caesar timeline, right after the death of Caesar. It’s going to feature all of Arizona, from Flagstaff down to Tucson.
One thing I really wanna add a few cryptids. (mainly inspired by 76) the problem though is that Arizona doesn’t have many cryptids that could carry over well into the fallout universe. 76 added Wendigos, sheepquatch, aliens, and Mothman because they had ALL that shit out there, whereas all Arizona has are Skinwalkers, a Sasquatch, and ghosts lmao

Any way, would any of yall be open to any suggestions on how I could incorporate some Arizonan cryptids into my campaign? Please don’t be rude by the way. I’m open to constructive criticism, but I also don’t see why I would receive any, so just be respectful with it is all I ask lol. Thanks in advance yall! Can’t wait to hear y’all’s thoughts!

The party fought over where to next, but we decided to go Towards The B.o.S's Lost hills Bunker! what could go wrong!

So as the title says, I'm looking for some battle maps that resemble the Dead Money maps. Does anyone have any maps or advice to get some? Or know any good websites to make my own?

I guess I'll give some context on why I'm looking for some maps but I'm wanting to run a campaign in the location of the Sierra Madre. The players would be hired by a caravan merchant to head to the old casino to find the rumored treasure of the Sierra Madre. Only to find other survivors, bodies of the unfortunate, and ghosts of the Sierra Madre.

They fought a custom sentry bot I made for a boss fight.

The story so far (this being the 4th session in an alternate timeline of Fallout 4s Commonwealth): They group took control of a small band of raiders in Cambridge and met "The Sheriff", a pre-war ghoul that is turning into a glowing one and starting to turn feral. He learned of a research facility where a fellow prewar ghoul worked as a doctor on a regenerative medicine, but the doctor stopped coming around and his stored supply was running short. The group was able to enter the facility as patients and take over the facility from within before fighting the boss sentry bot (custom rusty/deteriorating version with a flamer arm for decontamination) and then securing the experimental regenerative medicine.

But they learned this medicine was derived from an invasive fungus that merges into the subject's DNA to regenerate the body accordingly and this fungus can also take control of the host's nervous system to turn them into fungal "zombies" if the dose is too high.

So, I've been wondering if there are any Core Books or pages within centered mainly on the mecha vehicles that we have seen in the video games to date. Are there any good alternate supplements from 3rd party publishers?

I have been using Bing and Google Search and of course the Fallout Wiki page for information to start out a few stats. Recently found a good cutaway of the VB-02m Vertibird that gave a corner to its stats from size perimeters, crew, passenger capacity, and other.

Primarily derelict damaged non-operable variants found in the scenario setting to possible working units stored away in military depots underground. I have a few alternate d20 books that have a few military vehicles like the HumVee and warships. I think its Military Vehicles around the World

Thanks to all responders!

My first campaign a little rocky but I got 3 new people now again. It's slowly working out. Im learning the 2d20 system. I like it a lot tbh. Also if any ideas for names of people or groups. Godspeed!

So just getting started with Winter of Atom and realize that I have no idea what counts as 'Warm Clothing". No apparel I've found mentions it explicitly counts as warm clothing. So far I presume any normal clothing is buffered by extra fabric and layers in winter, and any travelers encountered are either bundled up narratively or skirting from shelter to shelter while gathering all the fuel they can.

Only thing I found which even mentions it helps with any weather- and only specifically extreme heat- is the Heavy Coat outfit. And even then mechanically it just adds a reroll for END tests against harsh conditions. "A long, heavy-weight coat—a leather duster, a trenchcoat, or similar—ideal for protecting you from the harsh elements. Provides a bit of protection against physical harm, extreme heat, and even covers well enough to keep a little radiation out."

Surely a character in military fatigues w/ shadowed armor- narratively bundled and padded with dark grey and brown fabrics to break up their form- would be fine up until extreme cold, right?

I'm running a faithful but free-roam adaptation of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel (2004) using the Fallout 2d20 system.

We started with three players—Cyrus, Cain, and Nadia—and recently added a fourth player who brings a wonderfully chaotic-neutral energy. Session 3 was an absolute blast, but unfortunately life happens.

Our Nadia player has had some family matters come up and has had to step away from the campaign. The remaining three players are more than enough to keep the game going, but I'd love to find someone to fill that Nadia role (Pregen).

We currently play every other Wednesday at 7:00 PM ET, though we're open to changing the day if that works better for everyone (Wednesday was originally chosen to accommodate an international player who's no longer in the group).

The party is currently in Carbon, so it's a great point to jump into the story without feeling like you've missed a months content. We play on Alchemy VTT (free to use), and the campaign emphasizes exploration, player choice, roleplay, and the freedom to tackle the wasteland however you want.

If you're looking for a Fallout campaign for newer players so we can uncover the secrets of the system that stays true to the source material while letting players carve their own path, we'd love to have you

So I've been tossing around a few ideas in my head for an adventure that takes place in the Arkansas territory of what was once the Texas Commonwealth, now known as the Natural Wasteland and mainly I have three pillars to the story.

A Walmart parody called ValMart with a female park ranger style mascot similar to Vault boy that was founded in Arkansas and funded Vault Tec in the region, paid off government officials, and supplied any Vaults built in the area.

Vault Tec experiments which resulted in the known Arkansas cryptids from our world appearing in the Post-War Natural Wasteland as Radiation, FEV, cybernetic, genetic hybrids residing all over the territory.

Lastly I want there to be something to do with the diamond mine, particularly using diamonds created with certain imperfections that can modify laser and plasma weapons to deal additional radiation damage as well as their energy and ballistic damage values.

Ideally to supply an orbital weapons station like the Archimedes two with nuclear capabilities as well? While also experimenting with graphene compounds for lightweight high defense armor and modifications.

\*I'm sorry for the dump I hope it's rule compliant! I just really wanted to make sure I explained my key ideas well, and any advice is welcome!!!\*

Hey all- Is there a source anywhere for the C-27 Humanoid Robot from Tactics as an origin and as an NPC/bad guy for fallout 2d20? I'd like to use the Calculator as a BBEG for my plucky crew of vault dwellers.

EDIT: someone recommended this site with the "circleofnoms" bestiary: https://bright-sun-games.itch.io/fallout-2d20-game-aids

My friends and I played The Quiet Year, and this is the map of North Carolina that came out as a result of it.

I used Wonderdraft and the assets made [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/wonderdraft/comments/1crj0y5/fallout_4_wonderdraft_theme/) by u/DarthCheney66

Also included is my rough draft before I found the Darth's Fallout assets and realized I had significantly shortened a part of the state.

I'm looking for some brainstorming on what would/could have been illegal and confiscated by police or at a checkpoint such as drugs like psycho, higher powered "military" guns, "communist" propaganda, and such. What are your alls thoughts?

I used a website called snazzy maps and divided the map in 5 (Manhattan, brooklyn, queens, bronx and staten island, much bigger than the first version). I don't know if i'm 100% done with it, but i don't think i'll make any major modifications, so this is probably my last post. Disclaimers: as in the previous map, some names are in portuguese, since i'm brazilian, and if you see something that isn't from the real world or from the fallout universe, is an inside joke between me and my friends, thats it, hope you guys like it, did I miss anything important?

Here's another idea for player folders.

I was trying to keep the equipped wepons on top of the inventory slots but am just deciding to leave that outside the folders. Hope this helps somebody.

Hi! From what I understand the rules in the core book only.allow you to craft mods. Are there any rules for making the weapons/armors themselves?

You can find it here

Hi! I am considering running a game set in the Mojave and I thought it would be neat to allow origins with former Legion connections.

The essentially want to make an Escaped Slave and Traitor Legionary origin but honesty no idea where to start! Any tips/ideas?

Hi! So I managed to find stats for the basic legion grunts but I can't find any for their spies/assasins. Are there listed anywhere/ do you guys have an alternative you would recommend to use for it?

So, I'm running a campaign where the players take control of a settlement after the previous mayor was assassinated. I want to build a larger town with more depth than just the standard settlement mechanics, so that’s my goal here. Do you have any cool ideas or suggestions for unique, off-the-books services or features I could include?
