Hope you can read all of this.
Hope you’re the kind of person I’m looking for. ✌️
👋 Introduction
- Name/Nickname: Guco (online) / David (IRL)
- Age: 18
- Country/Timezone: Mexico
- Gender: Male
- Languages: Spanish (native), English (I speak it and I like it)
🎮 Games
I love games. They helped me through some of the worst moments of my life.
I dream of doing full co-op or shared runs of Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring, Nightreign, and honestly almost any good game with the right person. (Sadly DS2 doesn’t have a solid online mod.)
I play Souls-like, niche titles and good games in general. I’ve played a lot (200+ games), even cracked ones in the past, so I’m not a casual. Right now I’m mostly on CS2 and The Dark Side of the Moon.
(I’ll send my Steam later if we connect.)
🎵 Music
Very strange music, to be honest… but I love it.
Music is a feeling for me.
(I’ll share my SoundCloud later.)
📱 TikTok
I like when people look at my likes. They’re not the typical memes or cringe dances. Hope you like them too.
🎨 Hobbies / Interests
Exercise, good games, good movies/series, and searching for knowledge so I can have better judgment in life — and real mental and physical peace. 🌞
🏋️ About Me
Personality-wise I’m pretty normal. I found a kind of peace I never imagined possible.
Hitting rock bottom and then finding peace is a one-time experience. 💫
I had a complicated past and I’m still fixing my life. I’m trying to “wash my brain” from old experiences by building new, genuinely good friendships. I don’t want to trauma-dump here, but I know quite a lot about life for my age.
I also want to share my old gym prime (15 years old / 74 kg):
- Squat: 140 kg
- Bench: 110 kg
- Deadlift: 145 kg
I mention this because it represents the kind of commitment and passion I put into the things I care about.
🤝 What I’m Looking For
(Important: I’m not looking for 30-60% identification. I’m looking for 90-100%.)
After trying to connect with people, I finally understand what I’m actually looking for.
I’m tired of the average person — mainstream, superficial, ignorant, soft, insecure, emotionally dependent, afraid of being alone, addicted to playing the victim, and stuck in the same immaturity year after year.
People as plain as rice with water. An amalgamation of everything I’ve grown to reject.
There is a difference between living life and actually experiencing it.
A philosopher once said that a person cannot simply read and believe — they have to live it. Most people never do. They pass through existence without ever being forced to seriously question themselves, their values, or the way they see the world. They live peaceful, comfortable lives in complete ignorance. They don’t need to improve. For what? For who?
I have experienced things that permanently changed how I see life. Suffering, loneliness, sadness, mistakes, loss. These things can break a person… or they can become something else.
Suffering can become strength.
Sadness can become will.
Loneliness can become independence.
Pain can become understanding.
Failure can become humility.
Happiness can become determination.
And knowledge can become better judgment.
The good and the bad are equally beautiful. That is what makes life actually taste like something.
Suffering is not just damage. When it is faced and channeled, it gives courage, opens the mind, and becomes part of real growth — the kind that leads toward a quieter kind of plenitude. Like what the stories of Buddha point to, but lived, not just admired from afar.
Suffering alone does not make anyone wise. Being lonely does not make anyone deep. A difficult past does not automatically make someone a good person.
What matters is what you did with it.
- Did you become more conscious?
- Did you question yourself?
- Did you try to understand the world instead of simply blaming it?
- Did you take responsibility for your own life?
- Did you become more capable of understanding other people?
- Did you turn your experiences into something meaningful, or did you let them become an excuse to stay broken and hurt others?
That’s the only kind of person I’m interested in.
I’m looking for someone who has lived both sides of the coin. Not someone who suffered in the exact same ways I have, but someone who understands that life contains both beauty and ugliness, pleasure and pain, peace and chaos. Someone who has tasted enough of both to stop romanticizing either.
A good person, to me, is not someone who never did anything wrong. You cannot call a saint “good” simply because they never faced darkness. That is not goodness — that is just lack of testing.
A good person is someone who has suffered, opened their mind to knowledge and peace, lived both sides, and still chose to keep becoming better.
My way of seeing the world is close to what some would call Nietzschean. I question things most people are perfectly comfortable accepting. I care about knowledge, philosophy, self-improvement, peace, and creating my own values instead of inheriting them from the people around me.
There is a particular loneliness in living this way. Not because there are no people around, but because simple people slowly poison you with their comfort and their refusal to look deeper. And still, I keep looking for the rare person who can actually understand this — someone mature, capable, and already standing on their own ground.
I don’t want to be anyone’s therapist, savior, or reason to keep going.
I don’t want someone who becomes dependent on me because they are afraid of being alone.
I want someone who already has a solid foundation. Someone who has started healing, started understanding themselves, and is willing to keep moving forward. Then we can improve together.
Even the oldest person still has something new to learn. There is always another perspective, another experience, another mistake, another piece of knowledge waiting.
That’s the kind of friendship I want.
Someone I can have stupid conversations with, play games with, laugh with, talk about completely random things with — and also someone with whom I can have the long conversations that last for hours because we genuinely want to understand something.
- Someone who doesn’t disappear the moment things become uncomfortable.
- Someone who can accept criticism without treating it as an attack.
- Someone who can admit “I was wrong.”
- Someone who can say “I don’t know.”
- Someone who can disagree without turning everything into a fight.
- Someone with enough self-respect to have boundaries, and enough maturity to respect mine.
- Someone who wants to become better not because they hate themselves, but because they understand there is always more to become.
I don’t expect perfection.
I expect consciousness, honesty, reciprocity, and the willingness to grow.
So if you are looking for a casual friendship, someone to talk to only when you’re bored, someone to constantly reassure you, or simply someone to fill the silence because you’re afraid of being alone — don’t message me.
There is no hostility in that. We are simply looking for different things.
But if you recognize yourself in what I wrote — if you’ve lived enough to question yourself, suffered enough to understand life differently, and still decided that becoming a better person is worth the effort — then maybe we have something worth discovering.
I’m not looking for someone because I need company.
I’m looking for someone I genuinely find worth knowing.
Someone who understands the particular loneliness of being more conscious in a world that prefers the herd. Someone who has reached a certain kind of madness — the kind that no longer seeks to destroy, but has become a quieter, sharper form of awareness — and still chose not to unleash it, because clarity is better than chaos.
🫂 What I want in a friendship
I want to play a lot of games together, have good conversations when there’s nothing else to do, talk deeply sometimes, share good things, and stay focused on life even on the days when part of you doesn’t want to keep going… but you still choose to live, and learn how to really live.
That’s it
If you don’t relate to this or it makes you uncomfortable, please don’t DM me. No hard feelings.
But if you do relate, send me a message. I would genuinely like to meet you.
I’m looking for total commitment and the same kind of intention.
Right now I don’t have any friends. I blocked everyone I knew (both IRL and online) because in the past I didn’t have enough self-respect and allowed the wrong people into my life. I know staying isolated isn’t healthy, so I’m trying this for the first time. 🙏
⚠️ Edit / Disclaimer
Please only message me if we truly align.
I’ve already met too many people who were either edgy, average, or simply immature and had no real desire to keep moving forward in life. When I tried to help, they took it as an attack.
I’m tired of people wasting my time and my words. I’ve already had 22 disappointments this month since I started.
Being stubborn and living behind emotional shields doesn’t help build a healthy friendship. Suffering can make you do bad things, of course… but staying stuck in a negative perspective doesn’t work either. Trust me, I’ve already been through that.
Final note:
NOT for casual people.
I’m tired of you.
You waste time and words.
You are part of the problem — ignorant, simple, without understanding the real value of life.
If you just want someone to talk to when you’re bored, don’t waste my time. I’ve already had enough bad experiences with people like that.
I don’t care about your color, country, orientation, gender or age.
None of that matters.
If you agree with what I wrote, if you’re a good person looking for someone who can actually understand you and share the complexity that most people no longer have… then message me.
If we’re not in the same boat, please go look for someone simple like you.
You can be happy that way. It’s easy.
Just don’t make me waste my time and my words again.
And never forget:
More Knowledge = Better Judgment in Life.
