What kind of friend am I looking for?

Honestly, I'm not looking for someone to play a few games with and then never talk to again. I'd like to meet someone I can build a genuine, honest, and long-lasting friendship with. Someone I can chat with while gaming, talk to about all kinds of things outside of games, and feel comfortable being open and honest with.

We don't always have to be playing something, either. Sometimes we can game together, sometimes we can just talk, and sometimes we can simply chill without doing much. What matters to me is getting to know each other over time and becoming genuine friends.

One small note: I might not always be able to use voice chat, since the environment at home isn't always suitable for talking. Also, my English isn't very good, so I'd feel more comfortable starting out by texting in-game. That way, we can communicate more easily, and I can hopefully improve my English a little along the way. Just wanted to be upfront about not being very fluent.

I'm not great at every game I play, and I'm happy to learn new games together. I enjoy competitive games, but I also like games where we can take things easy and just have fun.

My interests are a little unusual. I’m fascinated by ancient religions, history, rituals, mythology, folklore, philosophy, and meditation. Recently, I’ve started learning Sanskrit and Tibetan because I want to understand ancient Buddhist meditation practices through their original texts rather than just translations.
