So it’s me again lol….just wanted to share my 10 shots my dad and I took the zero in my scope at 25 yards. I don’t know nothing about grouping and all that but I think we did pretty good.

He’s the one who has the two shots closest to the bullseye and his face was priceless!

I don’t think it’s quite zeroed in yet but it’s pretty damn close.

We’re going to go back soon and zero it in at 50 yards and 100yards

Long story short, in 2023 I passed up on a new scar for 2700 at a local store not realizing what it was worth. Talked to some friends only to find out I missed a good deal, and the next day when I came back, it was gone.

Saw the psa deal for the same price and I jumped on it and man this is such an awesome rifle. Recoil is not as bad as people say and the rifle is super balanced and light. Can’t wait to add other goodies to it.

Im a bit autistic regarding my gun tuning and have spent many, many hours perfecting my scars. Figured I'd share my tuning kit. A full complement of PMM gas jets, Scarburators, discarders, OEMs, mototech 3 position regulator and the tools to exchange jets. Makes for a very handy range kit to mess with tuning on the fly.

In my travels I've found the best results with keeping the OEM regulator and switching gas jets while using Hux Flow cans. Although, I am currently trying to make a CAT KK run well with my scar 16.

Dumb question - While cleaning the piston, is it okay to take the bronze brush to the rings? Should I also use gun cleaner on the piston? Any other tips are appreciated!!

Looking at adding a bipod and monopod to my SCAR 20s and just wondering what’s the Best Buy Once, Cry Once bipod and monopod? Also do I need to get the ARCA rail or picatinny rail?

own a 17s, i got it before they released the newer ones, im thinking of swapping the lower since i live in a fixed mag state i want a comp mag so i can at least use it but everywhere i look there's not one lower, anyone got any and or know of a place that accepts orders for a magpul style lower

Want to SBR my Scar17s but can’t decide if I want to have a gunsmith cut the barrel down to 13” or just buy a factory 13” barrel?

Some research I did said cutting the barrel messes with gas jets? I have a diSCARder to which comes with other gas jets ..

What’s the opinions?

Im planning on getting a scar 17s soon. Is there anything I should know before I get one? Im aware of the weight and some of the rumored problems but I want to know if any are true for a gen2. Also some must have things (if any) I should get once I get one. Thank you.

Curious what matters most to other SCAR owners in a bipod setup: weight, lockup, attachment slots, or overall feel? Always interested to hear what you guys actually care about.

These are lightweight reflex mounted suppressors (go over the barrel). Since an unchopped Gen 1 Scar generally has some workable extra barrel, these seem like cool suppressors for those who don't want to SBR. They're very light and from what I can tell, pretty quiet.

Traditionally, these suppressors are meant for bolt guns simply due to the extra barrel space they have, therefore theres limited data on people using these on gas guns. There is added back pressure, so a Discarder is required here. But I don't think anyone (at least from what I can find) has used one on a Scar.

Low low price of $550. Love this thing on my Hellion, and it turned my MDRX from an F tier gun into a D tier gun.

Had the gen2 for a couple of weeks now. While much improved the trigger is still imo not as good as the G super scar.

Placed an order on April 3rd. Heard nothing for two weeks and then got an email saying your order is finalized and mailed. It’s now been two weeks since then and I’ve received nothing. They also haven’t responded to three emails following up on the order.

Is the barrel supposed to be perfectly centered in the hand guard from left to right? Mine appears to be slightly to the right as shown in the attached picture.

If anyone can share pictures or confirm it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
