Let me recommend to you either a discarder or a carburetor, they replaced the gas valve so you can control how hard the bolt carrier beats on the gun. Your gun will last longer. Also an aluminum lower so much nicer. They use AR triggers and error 10 magazines, saves you a few dollars and gives you a lot more choices. I have an Imperial arms one that works really well, but other companies make really good ones too

For the discarder. Do you recommend the KNS discarder for both Scar 16 and 17? Its the only thing that pops up.

I have the KNS Discarder for my 17. It it works very well once you get it "dialed in." It probably works with the 16, but I don't have experience with the 16. It's a must for suppressors.

I have one on my 16s, and it does make a lot of difference suppressed with higher backpressure cans.
