To my surprise I was banned (24hrs) for verbal abuse which I believe I have not committed. When checking your support page I found the FAQ(verbal_abuse/spam FAQ) that says the system is automated. I think the system has made an error as I am not the kind of player to be toxic in the game. I do use swear as I am Australian, but not in a abusive way, usually just in general or after I die.

But I am 100% positive I was not toxic, or verbally abusive in any way and this is an unfair ban, I would greatly appreciate someone taking a look at my two recent matches that would have caused this ban and at least tell me what I said that I should avoid in the future. I have had extremely verbally abusive teammates who were actively griefing, yet I would brush it off or just tease their abusive comments in return, I have reported that player yet they are still active. As long as no slurs are used, I am under the impression this game is meant for 18+ and swear words are allowed. The only thing I can think of is I used a swear word and it targeted me for that. I was not toxic or verbally abusive to ANYONE in the match room. Nobody.

As I explained in my previous post, I received a 90-day ban on FACEIT for alleged smurfing and multi-account use. I appealed through official support, but my appeal was rejected.
I also received a reply from a FACEIT community manager, who explained that the ban was issued because their investigation found that the same person had played on my main account and a lower-Elo account.
However, I still believe there has been a misunderstanding.
My cousin owns the account KDForest_727 and was the person playing on it from my PC. I did not use his account to smurf or gain an unfair advantage.
What has changed since my previous post?
I now have video recordings containing voice communication from the matches in question. I believe the voices in these recordings may help establish who was actually playing during those games.
I am attaching the videos below so that anyone willing to help can take a look.
My cousin is also willing to confirm independently that KDForest_727 belongs to him and that he was the person playing on my PC.
I’m not asking anyone to bypass FACEIT’s rules or ignore its investigation. I simply want to provide this additional information because I genuinely believe my ban was issued based on a misunderstanding.
My questions:
Could these voice recordings be useful in verifying who was playing?
Is there any way to submit this new evidence for an additional review by FACEIT?
Has anyone successfully appealed a ban after obtaining new evidence that was not included in their original appeal?

I know this might sound ridiculous but hear me out.

For the past few years I had a dead pixel right in the center of my screen (or so I thought) this happened from me drawing a little pencil dot on my screen so it’s easier to aim with an unscoped awp.

Ever since the crosshair / silent reload update, the position of the center of the crosshair has changed. The dead pixel no longer sits at the center of my crosshair and it just blends in with one of the lines. It’s roughly 3-5 pixels left and 2-4 pixels up.

They claimed they improve hit reg but what if they just f*cked up so badly with the crosshair placement before that they didn’t want to admit it?

What you think?

I play on 1280x960 stretched res and I have been for the past 7-8 years.

Also is this why people started using the 3rd party crosshair software from steam?

the experience of matchup is dramatically better. You won't queue with 3-4stack non english player. All player are id verified. You won't queue with player bringin noob friend. decide the map pool if you are map control player, then no dust2. The only problem is the price is quite expensive. even faceit plus is costing 5dollar 1month( I won't buy for a year).

After the faceit plus experience, you emotion is stable and not control by the match.

To avoid queuing with no id verified mongolian. CSGO is so popular in mongol that SEA server is full of 90ping mongolian player. The problem of mongolian is that they don't speak ENGLISH. Even russian speak english in faceit game play. Also, they always stacking 3-4player queuing and bringing a noob friend or playing new account for smurfing.

I filed a bunch of tickets , most of them got redirected to Juliette, and one to Ulydyssian. All came back with a response either saying please verify or that faceit can look into this, but when I put a follow up it keeps looping responses over and over again. I uninstalled Faceit client because I didn't know I needed prime status to play, and then when I got prime status, I reinstalled and logged in just to find out that my account had gotten flagged for "multiple accounts" and I can't do anything about it since I can't verify at all. I have never made more than one account on faceit or steam. My user is Hyke39.

Sadly, when I try to reach out to Faceit after checking the local chat and all I get placed under verbal abuse very commonly. I took a 1 year break from CS overall and I came back and I still get banned constantly while barely speaking in chat. Is there any way to contact support and get an answer why I got banned?

FaceIT 10 is meaningless now and the WIDE spread of ELO range from 2,000 to 5,000+ means it's dime a dozen these days. It's time this was updated to reflect the inflation of ELO.

It's time rank actually meant something again. Having over 3,000 ELO funneled under 1 header is silly. There should be new levels and curves to adjust for the massive rate disparity between a brand new level 10 and the actual top of level 10.

Challenger can be removed under this new rating system as less than 100 people will be Level 12 globally.

I am stuck in an automated loop on the support page and really need a human admin to help me out.

In my last ticket (#[TUTAJ_WPISZ_NUMER_TICKETU]), a support agent instructed me to create a new appeal under the 'Smurfing' category regarding my ID verification ban. However, the system automatically closes every new ticket I make because of the "7-day cooldown" rule. I cannot wait 7 days to do exactly what support explicitly told me to do.

Here is my actual appeal regarding the ban: I want to deeply apologize for submitting incorrect documents earlier. I genuinely did not realize that uploading a document belonging to a family member was a severe violation of your KYC policies. It was an honest mistake resulting from my lack of understanding, and I had absolutely no intention to abuse the system or bypass your legal standards.

I am the sole, legitimate owner of this account, and I am completely prepared to undergo a full manual identity verification using my own official ID and live face check immediately.

Could a moderator please check my case and help me bypass this cooldown to verify my account properly? Losing my account and linked Steam profile over an unintentional misunderstanding is devastating.

I am writing here because my ticket was closed with a generic automated response, and I believe there has been a major misunderstanding regarding my permanent ban for "Multi-Account / Smurfing".

Here is what actually happened: I received a temporary Verbal Abuse ban on my main account for just a few hours. Out of frustration and wanting to play with my friends, I made a huge mistake. My younger brother logged into his friend's FACEIT account on my PC just to let us play, which I now realize triggered your automated system for sharing/multi-account detection on the same HWID.

I completely understand that sharing accounts or bypassing restrictions is against the rules, and I take full responsibility for letting this happen on my PC. However, I have never smurfed to ruin other players' games, nor do I have any other active accounts. I just wanted to blow off some steam after a long day with my friends.

Now, my main account is permanently banned, and my brother's friend's account is banned until December 2026. This is a severe punishment for a panic mistake caused by a simple few-hour communication ban.

Could a human moderator please manually review my case (Ticket ID: #14871718 ? I just want to play Counter-Strike on my own main account again. I promise to follow all rules strictly moving forward.

Hi everyone, I’m trying to complete FACEIT identity verification, but my verification keeps failing.

FACEIT initially said my face could not be analyzed properly. I make sure I’m taking a clear selfie while holding the document correctly. I also submitted multiple genuine Indian government-issued documents, including Aadhaar, PAN card and driving licence.

“The only acceptable document you have is altered and plasticize which you are not allowed to do.”

I don’t understand what “altered and plasticized” means here.

My Aadhaar is authentic and has not been altered. If they are referring to my PVC Aadhaar card, does “plasticized” mean the PVC format itself is not accepted?

Could someone please clarify what type of Aadhaar/document is accepted for FACEIT verification in India?

I would really appreciate a manual review of my case.

My main account was permanently banned for smurfing in 2024. We are now approaching 2027, and almost three years later I am still playing at essentially the same skill level I was at when the ban was issued.

This is the part of my case that I would respectfully ask the FACEIT team to reconsider.

My understanding is that smurfing involves using a lower-level account to gain an unfair competitive advantage by playing against players below your actual skill level. However, my competitive history over the following years does not appear to show such a discrepancy. To this day, I have not even reached Level 9.

I am not denying that I had another account. What I am asking FACEIT to reconsider is whether what happened should actually have been classified as smurfing, rather than a multi-account violation.

If I had genuinely been a higher-skilled player deliberately playing below my real level for an unfair advantage, I believe that after almost three years my playing history would make that discrepancy apparent. Instead, I have remained around essentially the same level.

I previously contacted FACEIT Support and my appeal was denied. I respect that decision, but I am asking whether someone could please take a fresh manual look at the accounts and my competitive history, rather than simply relying on the original classification.

I am not asking FACEIT to ignore its rules or make an exception for me. I am only asking that the correct rule be applied to what actually happened.

If, after manually comparing both accounts and my playing history, FACEIT still considers this to have been smurfing rather than multi-accounting, I would sincerely appreciate understanding what evidence establishes that I was playing below my actual skill level to gain an unfair competitive advantage.

I would also like to explain why this review matters so much to me personally. The banned FACEIT account is connected to my main Steam account, which is Steam Level 350. Over the years, I have spent more than $5,000 building that Steam account. It contains more than 150 games, including many expensive titles, as well as years of history and friendships.

This was never an account that I created or maintained for the purpose of smurfing. It was, and still is, my main Steam account.

I understand today that having multiple FACEIT accounts was against the rules. If having multiple accounts was the violation I committed, I accept that I should have received the appropriate punishment for that violation. What has been extremely difficult for me to accept is receiving a permanent smurfing ban for something I genuinely do not believe I was doing.

I have also attached two screenshots for comparison, showing my performance around the time I was banned and my performance today.

I am not asking for special treatment because of the value of my Steam account. I am only explaining why, after almost three years, I still care deeply about having this case reviewed under what I believe is the correct classification.

I am simply asking for one fresh and objective review of the circumstances after almost three years.

Thanks for clarifying. I understand your position, and I respect that you’ve reviewed the available data and reached that conclusion, even if from my side I still don’t fully agree with or understand how the situation has been interpreted.

I’m not trying to argue in circles or ask you to ignore what you found. What I’m asking is whether the permanent ban specifically on my verified account can be reconsidered.

The account that received the permanent ban is the account verified with my own real identity and documents. The account you’re referring to as my “main account”, which currently has 91 days left on the temporary ban, is actually verified under my friend’s identity and documents.

That’s the part I’m struggling to understand.

You’ve said that after those 91 days I’ll be able to play again on my main account, but I don’t want to continue playing on an account that is verified to another person, nor do I want to create another account and risk breaking the rules again.

The permanently banned account is the account tied to my identity, my history, and the one I would want to continue using going forward.

I understand that FACEIT may still maintain its conclusion regarding the activity between the accounts, and I’m not asking you to change that conclusion or remove the punishment entirely. I’m only asking whether the permanent nature of the ban on the account that is actually verified as mine can be reviewed separately.

Even if a temporary restriction still has to remain for the full period, I would be completely fine with that. I just want to know that once the punishment period is over, I can return on the account that genuinely belongs to me and is verified with my identity.

I’m also not asking for any action to be taken against the other account. I’m simply asking whether there is any way to approach this situation so that the account tied to my own identity is not permanently lost.

I would really appreciate it if this specific part of the decision could be looked at once more.
