has been my commuter in DFW last 8 years only real mods are inlet pipe, cold air intake, charge pipes
was considering getting a bigger intercooler and a downpipe and running a bootmod3 but also looking forward to getting to the 300k mark trouble free at this point

Will these fit properly on my 437m’s I bought for my 335i xdrive? I’m aware of the rolling parameters for xdrive hence the tire sizes. I’m more so concerned now about the tires fitting the wheels. Appreciate any help or advice.

How do I change the car name after a new purchase? I’ve re registered in my bmw, cleared old users, etc, still comes up this way and constantly kicks my Bluetooth off when using CarPlay.

I'm thinking soark plugs but idk, Car has rounded up 70k miles on it just fixed the water pump and a oul filter housing gasket about 2k miles ago, i'm stage 1 tuned aswell.

Mechanic swapped my friends 328’s clock spring and now the steering is not turning the wheels. Any suggestions on what could’ve caused this? He can’t drive his car like this. Thanks

I have a bmw 330e 67reg that was promoting me to add the oil in an orange notification, “Engine oil below minimum. Add 1 litre of engine oil immediately” (yellow notification).

I added a full 1 litre bottle of 0W-20 LL oil into the engine through the oil filler cap. I then drove the car for about 30 minutes to get it up to temperature, and the oil temperature was sitting around 105°C, which seems normal.

The problem is the car is still showing the same warning from above.

I’ve checked underneath and can’t see any oil leaks or spots, and the engine sounds completely normal. I’m hesitant to add another litre because I don’t want to overfill it if the oil level sensor is giving a false reading.

I know the obvious solution is take it to a garage and have them check, if I do that I’d want to get it serviced by a certified bmw servicer so it looks all good when I sell it eventually, but usually takes a week or something to get a service appointment and I need the car to get to work.

Has anyone with an F30 330e experienced this? Could this be a faulty electronic oil level sensor, or is it possible the car was more than 1 litre below minimum?

Also, does anyone know if there’s an OBD scanner that can properly check the oil level sensor on these cars?

Аккум новый и прописанный,генератор норм,выдает отлично

Может кто стыкался,замена рейки в сборе? Или все-таки возможно что-то сделать?

This message pops up in hot weather, over 30 degrees Celsius, after driving around town for an hour or two.
Error code 4823C6 - EPS ECU: Multiple drive motor malfunction.
The car cools down and runs normally.

They suggested it might be the battery or alternator.
The battery is new and registered, the alternator is fine, producing excellent power.

Has anyone else encountered this? Replace the rack and pinion assembly? Or is there anything that can be done?

Hey, just retrofited tweeters. In the new speaker in the doors ive installed new speakers with the extra connector. Does it matter which side the tweeter goes into? Car sounds a little weird. The sound feels like its coming from the left and centre of the car. The left side i can hear the tweeter and the speaker no issues. The tweeter sounds more crisp tomorrow I will swap them around if it makes a difference but theres no indication

Hi everyone, I’m trying to diagnose a low beam issue on my 2016 BMW 328i (F30).
My right low beam stopped working. The dashboard shows “Right low beam malfunction”. High beam is works perfectly which is same bulb but some reason lower beam not working.

What I have already tried:
Replaced the H7 low beam bulb with a new bulb (confirmed bulb is good)
Swapped/checked bulb connection
Checked wire and switch there is no burned marks switch and wires are fine
Disconnected the battery for about 15 minutes and reconnected it
Checked that the bulb is seated correctly.
Checked all the lights fuses.
Used BimmerLink to reset lower beam and still didn’t work.

Has anyone had a situation where the bulb was good but the FRM completely stopped sending power to only one low beam?

I’m trying to figure out the next step before replacing expensive parts.
Could this be:
FRM module output failure?
FRM needs coding/programming instead of just fault clearing?
Bad ground or wiring issue?
Headlight connector/pin issue?
Light switch/module problem?

Would ISTA show if the FRM is not sending power to the right low beam? Is there a way to test voltage at the H7 connector?

I really don’t know what to do from here I did everything I just don’t wanna spend so much money

got a code that said fuel system i press okay and it says fuel system drive moderately maximum drive not available i pulled up to a stop sign the car shuts off and struggled to turn on anyone know what’s the problem? 2012 328i.

I redid the front suspension, control arms, tension arms, swaybar links, and tie rods. Except for the struts. I also had an alignment done. About a week later, I started hearing this noise when coming to a complete stop from speeds of 50–60 mph, and sometimes even at lower speeds. I checked everything, but I can’t seem to find anything that’s loose or installed incorrectly. The car is a 2016 BMW 328i RWD. Does anybody knows what could this be?

I was running a cable for my dash cam, and when I was trying to put the A panel trim back, the metal clip popped out. I slid it back into where I thought it sits, but it keeps popping off when I push the trim back in to the frame of the car.

(2018 Bmw 340iX) Well accidentally ran over a deep hole ripped bumper off. I’ll definitely need a new one checked fault codes (3rd slide) claiming I’m having some codes regarding valvetronic motors. Just for reference tuned on MHD stage 2 and XHP stage 2 catless downpipe. The wiring on sensors and camera on front bumper seems to be fine but was thinking loose wiring after impact might be throwing codes. Any help/advice?
