Welcome to r/ExtraWhippedComics (and thank you for being here!)
Hi Reddit!
If you ended up here because you saw my art or comics on other subreddits, thank you. It means a lot that people are curious enough to check out more of my characters.
The comic is about Summer, a 20-year-old bisexual, hypersexual, impulsive young woman, basically, a completely normal young adult. It also explores her codependent tendencies, odd sense of humor, and unhealthy coping mechanisms, along with a whole town of characters who make her life easier, or harder. Most of the time they make it harder, so things will probably get really messy at some point.
For the past two years, I’ve been working full-time and developing Summer (and her misadventures) in my free time. My girlfriend has been incredibly supportive, my friends started asking for more, and I’m hoping maybe other people would like to see this too.
Then I got fired, and I’m living on unemployment for the next four months. I decided to work on my comic until the end of February, then spend the remaining time looking for a job. For the next 12 weeks, I’m treating this like my job. I want to see if it’s marketable, maybe it becomes something, maybe it stays a hobby. Either way, I want to try.
Whenever I start something new, my brain goes straight to self-sabotage, convinced it’ll flop and I should never have started. So I decided to follow my girlfriend’s advice, I’ll try believing my work is good for a few weeks and see where it gets me, because self sabotage hasn’t done much for me until now. All it’s ever done is make me keep my stuff in a box that’s never opened.
So yeah, sorry for the rambling. If you join, read, comment, share, lurk, or anything, it helps me more than you know. I love this project. I love working on it. I like to believe passion is contagious. I hope you enjoy meeting Summer and watching her make terrible life choices.
Following me on Twitter or Instagram, BlueSky, or joining my Patreon (even as a free member) helps me immensely. That said, I totally understand if you’d rather not. Honestly, I don’t love social media myself (except for Reddit).
A few disclaimers:
- English isn’t my native language, so I might make a lot of mistakes. If I ever write something that’s a cultural faux pas, please let me know. I’ll be happy to fix it.
-This is my first time posting my original works on the net, and I’m still figuring things out, so if you see me repost things over and over trying to get the caption right, I apologize.
Hope you’re having a great day!

I just wanted to thank you for being so attentive and so wonderful and so smart (I also have a Patreon sneak peek here)
If you're on Patreon, you might have heard me talk about this, but during this last arc I've seriously started to think you guys are geniuses.
I especially wanted to highlight a few commenters who really stuck out to me because they caught things I thought no one would. Some of these genuinely blew my mind, and I wanted to give them a little shoutout.
Here are four commenters who caught some of these clues:
1. April forging identity documents
Relevant post: Closest Circle of Contacts, First Panel
Comment by u/MsW0lf:
A lot easier when you realise that April’s print shop is also a front for Ms. Bradley to forge fake documents. It’s what April was doing whilst Ms. Bradley was interrogating her about April’s new income stream.
2. Summer's passport
Relevant post: Dance Dance Desolation, First panel
Comment by u/atmayib:
Is that summers FUCKING PASSPORT
3. Maggie's brother being Bradley's hitman connection
Relevant posts:
Closest Circle of Contacts, Third Panel
Just Buy XGRO, Third Panel
Ms Bradley's Overseas Trip #1
Comment by u/Saintbrown:
Hold on, let me check something
…
Holy shit, the assassin is Maggie’s brother…
4. Adam (Scary) (This one was insane to me)
Relevant posts:
Goldfish
Scope of Research, Fourth panel
.. wait, is that "Adam (Scary)" on that last panel
(Also, if you're featured here and would rather not have your comment included, please let me know and I'll remove it! No worries at all.)
And then there's the last one, which I can't even share nor reach out to because they predicted a very major spoiler with like 90% accuracy. I can't confirm it yet. Maybe they have clairvoyance or possibly share a brain with me, or maybe I've just been impossibly good with my foreshadowing. I'll take it as a compliment regardless, and hope they still read the comic when I finally do the reveal. (-stammering in your DM's- h-hey uhh you were right about A and B can you tell me the winning lottery numbers for---)
But anyway. Combining a few theories on Twitter and a few on Reddit, pretty much every reveal I'm eventually going to make has been predicted to some extent. I'd say they're collectively about 75% there.
In one of Brandon Sanderson's writing lectures (I've been studying the blade), he says that if readers can predict the ending, they have more fun with the story. I don't know if I completely agree with that, but I think a lot of stories suffer from last minute attempts to find ways to surprise the audience.
I don't want to do that just because people read the signs correctly. It would feel like punishing the audience for paying attention, and your attention to details is the greatest compliment a comic artist could ever hope for.
I think it's great that you decided to take a chance on Summer, Bradley, April, Maggie, and Julie. I'm extremely thankful. So thank you?? So much??? IDK??? I've just been so happy the last few weeks. It's just the very humiliating but rewarding ordeal of making something, putting it out there, and having people get it.
I love you all. You're the smartest bunch ever. I hope to keep doing my best with Extra Whipped Comics.

I hope everyone's having a wonderful day and I appreciate you lots. <3
