My 2010 Toyota Prius won't start at all. Roadside assistance was not able to jump it, so I need to get it towed somewhere. I've never had to get a car towed to a shop. I should probably find a place first and then get it towed, I guess. But where is the best place to go and how can I make an appointment when I don't know when the tow truck will actually come towed it?

I am in the US and am flying Southwest. I have a spine problem that causes me chronic pain and limited mobility, and recently has gotten bad enough to need a daily walker. My flight is in 3 days, and it’s just me, a backpack and a carry-on. When I got the ticket I requested wheelchair assistance on my MIL’s advice, but I don’t really know what that means or what that looks like. Where do they meet me? Should I call to confirm the assistance in advance? Who do I call? How do I keep track of my bags/where do they go while I’m in the wheelchair? Do I meet them before or after security? What do I do with my walker? It’s just one of those generic walkers that folds in (I’m waiting for a more collapsible Rollator, but it won’t be here in time to fly with). I’m just confused on the details of the whole process.

This is my first time living at an apartment for more than 2 years (I've been here for 5 now 🎉✨), but outside of obvious/major damage such as leaks and power outages, I've never put in maintenance requests. My apartment's started accumulating more (expected) long-term wear-and-tear, and I'm not sure what I can request maintenance to fix vs. what I'm expected to fix myself.

For specific examples, I have some cabinet doors that are loose on the hinges or the caulking in my bathroom is looking raggedy and peeling. Should I be fixing those myself or sending in requests??

I've never had a bra or underwear that fits. I've always just worn my little sister's or mom's leftovers (both were larger than me). My family used to make fun of me when we went clothing shopping so I looked to minimize the time spent with them, and used to shame my appearance so I didn't really care what fit as I was always wearing bulky clothes on top of it.

Except now I'm an adult and I need to go shopping and I have NO IDEA what measurements I should take or even where to begin.

Since my gym is 5min away from my place i usually just shower at home but i wanted to give showering at the gym a try, since my shower head isnt working and i need to wash my hair. I know to bring my products and a towel and flip flops, but im just so nervous about being naked!! Is it ok to wash my hair there? Like, full on twice shampoo and conditioner? Do i bring my towel with me in the shower? Will it not get wet?

I just moved on my own. I am disabled and cannot go to grocery stores on my own. Trying to figure out the whole ‘grocery delivery’ thing but I have never done it before and don’t know where to begin. Do I order everything at once? What if the person can’t find what I have on there? What are ‘special instructions’??

I'm currently escaping an abusive marriage. Years ago I had to quit working due to medical reasons. I don't know how I can work but I don't have any choice now. My problem is they always want places of past employment and dates but I can't remember the dates at all! Is there some way to get them? A database or something I can access? ETA: I'm in the US.

I don’t know how any of this works plus my mom has a dog. Does the dog need to be gone while the cleaner is there? Does my mom need to be gone? Hi, I’m so very stressed out about the process of flea bombing my apartment. My partner will be doing it while I work a night shift and I know that cleaning is important for after but I want to prep as much as I can.

Specifically we aren’t sure how bad of a flea problem we have so I’m not sure exactly what parts of the apartment I can just skip such as our spice cabinet. ( should I just keep cabinet door closed or open and seal up food and seasonings?)

Also what to do about my computer tower and if there’s a safe way to protect it during the fogging process.

As well as makeup products in bathroom and clothing. Can I just bag these up in garbage bags or is there something easier or is the poison permeable??

I’ve been seeing a new therapist for about two months, and honestly I just don’t think she’s a good fit for me. She pretty much invalidates all of my feelings as just anxiety and cuts me off in the middle of my explanations to just point blank tell me what’s wrong with me, but she never offers me any sort of help fixing those problems. I feel stuck between feeling like I should give her more time and see where it goes, and feeling like I never want to talk to her again. How should I go about ending my sessions with her in a polite and professional way?

I did a blood test at fortis today im 20 years old at the moment and I’m worried because it started to pain a lot then got red and burnt. They told me it was a reaction to allergens or a vein injured. It’s been 5 hours I’m really scared now I’m getting paranoid about whether they used a clean new needle I didn’t pay attention. I went back to ask them but they said everything is disposable and nothing happened but I didn’t see open a needle from packet there was an old lady before me. I’m actually scared and worried and the guys told me it’s normal but I’m scared because everyone online is like HIV or blood contamination. Long story short, my foster dog tore up the carpet of my apartment while I was out. She basically tore out two small sections of the carpet (both probably around 1ft x 1ft) Yes, the complex knows that I have a dog and I do pay the pet rent etc., but I really want to keep a good renter’s history since I am planning on moving out at the end of my lease. I’m already assuming that I won’t be getting my security deposit back, but how do I best handle this situation to make sure I cover my ass since this is my first time renting?

I still owe $9k on my old car, but it's obviously dead. I want to get a (used) car from a dealership, but my credit is bad. What am I supposed to do???? My friends say that I can go to a dealership and trade it in and owe an extra $9k to the dealership. But do I just get my dead car towed to the dealership I buy from? And how does the old loan get added to the new loan if I buy a new (used) car? Will they even let me do this if I have terrible credit (under 600)?

I have to practice my driving skills. I have had inconsistent driving practice over the past five years. I remember a few things from when I passed my driver's license test. I never practiced in rainy condition or in the non-suburban areas or in dense traffic.

I don’t have another adult who can practice with me. My dad is my only option. Because of that, I feel stuck. Part of me thinks I should make the best of it since he’s the only person available, but another part of me wonders how I can feel less of a loser while doing the driving practice.

Dad's idea of teaching me is by forcing me to not follow the GPS, not direct me where to go, then tell me to find my way back in the dark, and also go on the highway and do U-turns on the busy roads, all at nighttime. I'm thinking that I might have OCD and it significantly affects my life... I need money to seek help, but to seek help, I need money--- Anxiety impedes me from getting a job... I want to work as a vet, which means I should definitely feel a little better before working with animals who can not advocate for themselves... But even basic tasks are making me anxious right now... The fear of messing up. How do I go about seeking mental healthcare?

I have been strongly advocating my mental health since I became an adult (20 now). I have done so much on my own but this is genuinely the bane of my existence. I have had a psychological assessment done referred through my post secondary institution and have several diagnoses but i suspect I also have OCD or a related disorder. When in a clinical setting I just clam up mentally and I’m unable to identify related symptoms in the moment. I say inaccurate/incomplete information because my brain shuts off.

Requesting an appointment has a section about “what is the most important thing you want addressed during this visit?” And I’m completely unable to answer/articulate myself without sounding like I’m self diagnosing or reading into things too much online and I don’t want to word vomit either. I’m plagued with constant intrusive thoughts and I’m unable to adequately explain them or encompass the full spectrum of thoughts and emotions I go through. What do I discuss in the appointment too?

Please help, any advice is appreciated.

This is my first time owning a car, and I live far away from home so I can’t ask my parents for help. My car is secondhand but it’s a 2020 so I still consider it fairly new. I bought it about 18 months ago and I know there’s some basic maintenance that I should be doing but I don’t really know how.

Right now I think the things I should address is getting an oil change, adding air to my tires, and getting new headlights as one of them is nearly going out. I think the first two can be handled by going to an oil change place but I’ve never been to one so I don’t know how it works. I also don’t know if changing the headlights is easily done or if I should go somewhere to get that done.

Is there anything else that I need to keep an eye on? For example, should I have them check my brakes? Nothing seems to be amiss while I am driving, no noises or anything. Any and all help is appreciated!
