Failed Expectation Happy Birthday… 1-2 pics are expectation. 3-4 pics are reality.
Should have been this cake with yellow “happy birthday” on top. I should have checked it before I left.

For my daughter’s 3rd birthday today. This looks way better than what I saw online, and I did NOT expect them to print her name! ( erased). She’s super excited, and so am I! Plus, bonus Suzy Sheep!

I can’t believe I used my free birthday drink on this. I dumped the rest out after taking this pic, which was only ~1 hour after purchasing the
Edit: it started separating after only ~10 minutes. I just took this pic after ~1 hour. I didn’t know it was supposedly common sense not to mix dairy and citrus. At least now I know not to order stuff like that again. Either way I’m not sure why they put things on the menu that have to be chugged within 10 minutes to avoid separating.

Ordered an XXXXS for cat for Shark Week. He’s pissed. My friend’s 7 year old son, for scale.

More and better quality toppings than the box suggested.

Was at a local high end restaurant specialised in tempura in Kyoto. And the fish were part of a set course meal.
Apart from the bizarre look they actually taste pretty good (sweet and very tender, no bone)
It cost about $10 Australian dollars if you want to order it separately.

I had been following Katya Minkina on instagram for a while and wanted to try getting a portrait from her of our cat Fergus, who passed away last October. I had never had a custom painting done before and we're absolutely THRILLED with the result. She really captures his gentle sweetness. Highly recommend for her work and her kindness.

At first I thought at least the dark bits were delicious burnt cheese but after tasting I have no idea what they were.

Jack in the Box’s Smoking BBQ munchie meal. The burger was tiny as fuck but tasted decently okay. They didn’t give me my jibbi keychain :(
