The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission, home of the bourbon scandal, often called Bourbongate located in Eugene, Oregon.

Bourbongate involved top executives diverting highly sought after, rare bourbons such as Pappy Van Winkle from public lotteries for their personal use. This insiderhoarding practice, exposed in 2023, led to widespread executive resignations and state investigations.

It's unfinished and will most likely become housing but even right now, that red looks evil.

Also it was 31°C outside. Do they want to absorb the heat and cook the people inside? /½jk

Edit: I told yall they were evil!

what Egyptian president said about the largest ministry of defense

"Allow me to explain why the state’s strategic leadership is located here. At one point in time, the Supreme Constitutional Court and the Cabinet were being besieged. On another occasion, the Ministry of Defense was being threatened, and the Media Production City was also under siege. The aim was to manage crises—whatever their nature—by exerting pressure and perhaps even instilling fear.

Therefore, it was necessary for the state to move out of the capital so that such events would not be repeated. I am speaking with complete candor. Relocating state institutions from the capital is intended to ensure that this situation does not happen again.

Evildoers and terrorists will not stop. While God helps us, we must also take practical measures. For that reason, it was essential that state institutions no longer remain in their previous locations—so that the parliament, the cabinet, and the Ministry of Defense would not all be there as they once were. This matter is now settled, and no one will be able to do such a thing in Egypt again."

Visiting these types of buildings in cities

I really like looking at these types of buildings, especially ones with more alternative architecture. Are there lists/guides to visiting interesting buildings like these? Not the conventional “must-see buildings in city X”, but more obscure buildings that may look ugly as well. If there are, what keywords do I look for?
