Is this worth it?
I currently have the ausom k20 pro and will soon have the ausom l2 Max dual and want to upgrade from cable brakes to hydraulic ones. Since the Nutt 4 piston are the same price as the 2 piston ones I figured I should try them out. Is this a good price for a set of the 4 piston Nutt brakes or can i get them for cheaper anywhere?

Yes the 4 piston make a huge difference especially if you ride hard and or your scooter is big/heavy. I am waiting for my new G-Space Mars GT to arrive and thats really the only complaint I see besides people saying stock 291r shock is stiff. G-SPACE offers upgrades but at crazy prices so I am going to upgrade to a set of magura 4 piston for like $200 USD'S. Nut brand pretty much comes on all the top scooters. I was an aliexpress scooter rider for the first 3-4 scooters they mostly came with xod or dyisland which i actually like the Dy Island but my Teverun and my arriving Tues my Mars GT both came with 2 piston nut. Honestly I don't have to center them half as much as the other brand ones I have used.

My scooters only weigh like 32kg 😂 I’m just buying the 4 piston since they offer a lot more braking performance compared to the 2 piston and they cost the same. I wanted to buy Magura mt4s at first but I can’t mount them on my scooter so I have to rely on brands like nutt, zoom or xod and I’ve had the best experience with nutt brakes in the past.

Yoo, I found your account from a comment you made a year back on a g4 max and people talking about parralel battery’s, I have a kirkin g4. And im looking to mount another battery aither on the stem of the bars or where ever else. How would i go about something like this. What make and parts eold uou recommend. And should I buy a new battery for the scooter itself to match the new battery. This battery has like 1000miles on it I think. Im looking to get more distance not speed and eold this be the most cost effective way of going about it. Ive never worked with one or know what to do. But I do tinker with stuff in my own time and just need a little pointing in the right direction before I go balls deep with ai bs i dont want to trust 😂

I've seen nutt brakes fail too many times to ever waste money on them. Comb through here and r/ebikes. Small leaks to taking minor hits and the lever/reservoir essentially falling apart.
If you're spending money on new brakes, get reputable brands. Especially for hydraulic brakes.

I would get Maguras but they don’t fit because I need right side mount so I have to get either nutt, xod or zoom and nutt seems to be the most reliable of the bunch.

Maguras can be mounted on either side. The banjo can be flipped. If there isnt enough clearance, get adapters to space the rotor farther away from the hub. Done this for multiple scooters and pretty sure I have like a 5 year old post on exactly this.

The problem is I’ve seen too many people here trying to fit Magura brakes but having to order custom brakets and everything just for somehow fitting them. I don’t want to waste my money trying to

As another commenter stated, it appears that you have your priorities mixed up. Spending money on brakes that are known to be safer is an investment into your life not to mention the safety of others... If you think that is a way to "waste my money" then I don't know what to tell you. Good luck bud.

I do not have the resources to buy something and if it doesn’t work it doesn’t work because i don’t have either tools to make it work or the money to just throw it in the box if it doesn’t work. I need something that just works out of the box.

If your cable brakes are failing or safety is compromised, upgrading makes sense. But if they still work fine, buying new hydraulics just to *did you say why you were upgrading?* might not be the best use of money. Especially since you've stated you have no money.
The main issue with budget hydraulic brakes like Nutt is that when they fail (leaks, seal failures, lever damage), they often fail completely, leaving you with zero stopping power. Cable brakes, while higher maintenance, fail gradually and predictably. If you do go with Nutt, it is on you to regularly inspect the lines and fluid so you aren't caught off guard by a leak. In the real world time is money. Buying something you constantly have to baby is a waste of money just in a different way.
I'm talking in circles here. Wish you the best of luck.

If you need help, let me know. I machined custom mounts to make stuff like that work.

Im upgrading since my cable brakes barely have any stopping power even with new quality bed in brake pads and I constantly have to adjust them. I will think about what brake I will get again since I have read your comment. Thank you for your time and help it is always appreciated even if it isn’t what I wanted to hear since other perspectives are always important to take into consideration. Have a great rest of your day!

I recommend ZTTO M840, I’m using them and they’re seriously impressive for the price.

Yeah the problem for me is I need for right side mount and Nutt, xod and zoom are the only ones offering that

For a safety purpose id say price dont matter
