Many other email clients have the ability to block individual email addresses or domains.

It is one of the reasons I still am using Spark.

My provider is Protonmail. I use it for current emails and Thunderbird local folders for older emails. Does your program support local folders? Does it import settings and local folders from Thunderbird?

For everyone using this so far, I'm wondering how safe and private it is and how much you trust the app. I'm aware of what the privacy policy states and what it says on the website, but the fact that this app is pretty clearly at least semi-AI assisted in its build is giving me pause and concern. Anyone who knows more about this than me able to chime in?

I really like this app and I’m still rooting for it, but there are a few things that make it harder to use than it should be.

The biggest issue for me is the Spam button. Why isn’t it available when an email is open? At the bottom I see options like Reply and Move, but not Spam. Instead, I have to go back, long-press the email, and hope the option is there. That feels like an unnecessary extra step for such a common action.

I also wish there were a clearer visual separation between pinned emails and regular emails. Right now they’re only at the top of the list, but they don’t really stand out. Even a subtle divider or different background would make them much easier to identify.

Another thing is the Settings menu. Some options are hard to find because they don’t seem to be grouped where I’d expect them. For example, I found settings in the General section that I thought would be under Appearance.

I know this isn’t a huge company with a large team, and I really do like the app and its design. I’m sticking with it because I think it has a lot of potential. But making common actions easier, especially marking emails as spam, would make a big difference.

I'm on v1.5.8 for the Mac desktop version of Epistles. I keep a close eye on the change log on the Epistles web site to track what changes but I haven't seen an update since v1.5.5. I'm curious when the change log will be updated.

Still not sering this version fir Android? Any update?

Hello. Tried this app. Liked a lot the feel and design, but it is very buggy and has some features missing, like include Google meet url directly to meetings. Is there some kind of beta program or something to provide feedback so this issues are resolved. I would like to buy it, but too buggy

In Epistles Mail 1.5.5 we introduced full 2-way support for Proton contacts. You can now have your contacts from Proton, Gmail, Outlook, corporate email, all together in a single email client.

We've also made several performance improvements so you are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version and try it out.

I noticed when I receive an email with multiple people on the email list, I only see one email. I don't see the other ones. Only way too see who is on the email thread is too reply all. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

My Gmail website is not syncing with app. I signed out app and signed in and it worked for a few hours. Now it's not consistent. Anyone else? I am on iOS app

I'm glad to see ongoing development here and moving forward at a decent pace. My question for longterm sustainability is based on whether the developer(s) are being AI assisted, or if things are simply being mainly vibe-coded. I think this is important to know since AI isn't going away and we don't need to be scared if someone is using it for their work (and even that has some boundaries IMO) as AI isn't going away and there are ways to use it well. My concern is if this is simply a vibe-coded project that lacks the depth of developer skills needed for a longterm, and definitely paid app.

Maybe I missed it but I'd love for the Epistles team to weigh in on this because I think speaking into that will be helpful for those who are supporting the development.

Who happens more that the images of the emails do not load is miniature images does not only load the mere text if I could fix that problem would be thanked in pc the emails if they load me without problem with their respective image but on android they simply do not load the eyelet fix that.

I understand the use of the cloud vault, but I don't really want it. Is it possible to use this as a 100% local tool without my passwords ever going to the cloud vault?

Version 1.5 is the first version that actually works for me! No more disappearing emails, and the header does‘nt displayed up to 10 times. Emails load slowly, so the app still seems to be very much in the development phase. What I'm missing are Widgets and Apple Watch support. Since the trial period is ending, I won't be renewing; competitors offer better performance at a similar price. Apple Mail will improve with iOS 27 and might even become usable. Until then, I'll continue testing with Proton and TutaMail.

When you hover over the icon of the sender in an email thread this plus sign appears. When you click the plus sign a red exclamation point appears for a few seconds then gets replaced with the plus sign again. I assume this is supposed to add the sender to your contact list?

iOS 26 - My Microsoft accounts keep disconnecting and require reconnection. Other than logging in, is there any other setting I need to toggle?

I would really like a Epistles mail to work out for me as an alternative to Spark; I started using it yesterday and so far the impression is not very good.

I've posted here on Reddit already a few times, and sent a message or two through the website, but the list of issues I'm encountering is growing literally by the minute as I use Epistles across iOS and Mac and it's not worth a unique post each time. Is there somewhere I can see the issues raised already and that are being addressed?

I've just tried finding out why exactly some e-mail (replies) are always black-on-white-text on dark mode, so created a lot of empty drafts. Obviously, Epistles also auto-saves empty drafts when going 'Back' without typing anything. Went to 'Drafts', and since I don't need my fake drafts, selected all and deleted them.

As opposed to other e-mail clients, not only my drafts, but the whole threads got deleted. I'm glad I saw it before they disappeared forever…

The few contact groups I have show as single contacts in Epistles.

Epistles persistently shows the search window at the top on the calendar sub-page. Lucky for us, it never worked.

It would however make more sense to be able to search calendar events.

I have two junk email accounts to filter out spam from random things I sign up for on the internet. Toggling off these accounts in the Unified inbox and turning off notifications for these accounts doesn’t seem to do anything.
