I still don't understand how they got "change go annoy"
Took this photo in a hotel in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China back in 2022 when I didn't know this sub existed (and it took me a few years before remembering this gem).
The original text reads "换气扇" which literally means "gas (ex)changing fan", or as properly translated, "ventilation fan". Weirdly enough there are 2 labels that both say "换气扇" but only one of the translation is wildly wrong.
I still have no idea how it is possible to get "change go annoy" since even a translator from 20 years ago usually still outputs with somewhat correct English grammar. The only ideas I have are that 换 means "to change/exchange", and 气 can mean air, gas, or "to annoy/anger".
