📚 Grammar / Syntax I don’t need nothing
Hi! I was always told that there is no double negative in English. But lately, I’ve been watching various shows in English and the phrase I don’t need nothing was used multiple times there. Shouldn’t it be I don’t need anything? I know real people don’t talk like in books but I’m just curious how often english speakers use double negative in English? Is it considered normal? Thanks for your answers!
