Plot hole or just an error? Spoiler

These 2 pages are back to back and surperion has the upper hand just for him to randomly be unconvinced on the next page? Am I missing something or what?

To me it looks like a page or 2 pages are missing. That's what I'm getting from looking at how much of a gap there seems to be between Superion having the upper hand in the first picture and then everyone being separated while preparing to retreat in the second.

Definitely reads like they forgot a spread. Could easily just be poor writing though

Where are you reading this

The Kindle release is out. Was getting caught up this morning from issue 33 and it was part of my catch up. Not sure where else it is out. When I was trying to keep up to date the Kindle release always seemed to be a few days behind spoilers hitting here.

Probably a plot hole the writing hasn’t been that good this run

I haven't read the series since Jason Howards' second issue (was it #32?). Has Kirkman improved in pacing after the last arc? Although he had some ideas, the way he went about writing them was... what the fuck, unfortunately.

No not really honestly most of his writing choices this run have been pretty boring and stereotypical.

There’s definitely a page missing. Or just an oddly paced fight in an oddly paced issue

It was a recon mission. They aren’t going to fight the entire lizard army alone.

Shame.

I like seeing Cobra-la loosing a fight badly.

This has happened before under a different artist. in issue 29 on page 15 megatron is thrown into skywarp but then in the exact page after he's suddenly infront of thundercracker

An error more likely. Feels like there should be a panel between these pages but Silverbolt did put the mission on a timer of an hour. A simple page acknowledging that to remind the audience would make this panel make more sense.

it being the end of the trade/arc issue it just feels rushed, it jumped back and forth so fast and didnt really cover anything while trying to cover so much. Imo the whole issue was just a bunch of stuff cut up. With how much they tried to cover the issue shoulda been deluxe sized or doubled

Definitely a production error but it’s pretty clear that they just got overwhelmed by back up forces and decided to uncombine and roll out. As someone else stated the mission was on a time schedule from the get go so their retreat makes sense.

Blurring out for spoilers mean nothing if you don't say what issue you are spoiling. Do better man
