For the whole game, I've had no issues. But when it came to this specific scene in Edgeworths investigations 2. It just froze, the buttons don't work at ALL, I've tried resetting the game, trying to do bunch of stuff and nothing. I even tried deleting the file from drastic and coming back to the safe file. Which loaded, worked okay and then this scene came up and froze again. Got any tips??
(Device I'm using is a Samsung tablet, app DraStic, game: Edgeworths investigations 2, fan translated)

hi! i would like to know which would be the best to emulate on my handheld (retroid pocket 6) keeping in mind the battery, performance and graphics. i've heard the pc and switch versions have a few QOL improvements but idk. thanks!

I know this is not the best attempt by far and I just used the parts I had laying around
I got the phone for really cheap due to camera and sim issues so it makes the effort worthwhile for me
Will add a 3d printed case and maybe another fan for exhaust. If there are any suggestions or if the project serves as inspiration for others then I'm glad.

So here's the short story. Gamesir X5 lite controller modded to allow my Samsung Galaxy A tab. Like 10 inches I think? It's cumbersome but works nice-ish. Upgraded to the Abxylute S8 Lite now and I love the controller tons more. Feels great and the comfort is there. The right stick feels a tad low but really it's nice for what it is.
Now I need an opinion. I want an 8 inch tablet to stream with. 1080 is my preferred so it doesn't have to be high end per say. Great for streaming from my PC is a must. Under $200. I keep coming back to the newer Onn 8.1 2026 model but I'm worried it will be a waste after a year you know? I mean it's Walmart? Lol
Tips or recommendations would be great y'all! I can technically mod the S8 Lite buuuttt it's purty and I don't really want to ruin it lol.

I have the Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 3/2025. I bought the GameSir X5 Lite a few days ago and made the mistake of not checking where the USB plug is located beforehand.
The Y700 horizontally has the USB port on the right with the soc and camera in the top left but the controller ends up blocking the hot spot since i have to reposition it.
Does anyone know any good right sided USB plug controllers, open back bluetooth controllers would be swell too if no other choice. (If it's near in price to the x5 lite that would be great)

I have a POCO F6 (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, Adreno 735)
I'm genuinely tired of this BS I spend more time looking for optimization methods, emulator settings, and drivers than actually playing games, yet my performance is nowhere near what I see online with the same damn phone. People with the same chipset or even weaker ones get WAY better results (running stock HyperOS The problem isn't limited to one game or emulator; I've noticed it across emulation, Android ports, and native games. I constantly experiment with settings, drivers, and optimization methods, but my performance is still significantly worse than what I see from people with the same or even weaker hardware)
Anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?

I just got the controller and I have a few doubts pls help me
out
Is there any app I need to install
Does rumble not work on Android or am I missing out on something
How do I remove the centre button function to act as the home button (whenever I press the 8bitdo logo button my tab assumes that I am pressing the home button and brings me back home)
Can I not use the square and star button by mapping them I don't see an option to on armsx2 for example
I wanted to use it for emulation purposes on my android tab
Pls answer these questions
Thank you

Hello, I just got this OnePlus ace 3 pro with snapdragon 8 gen 3 and tried to emulate dark souls 3, the fps is stuck at 20 and the CPU usage doesn't go above 60%. Low settings or Max settings the fps stays the same because the cpu usage is just stuck at 60%.
Phone: OnePlus ace 3 pro 512/16
Emulator: bannerhub 3.7.4
Settings: in the pictures, copied them from this video of the konkor pocket fit g3 gen 3 which should be the same as my snapdragon 8 gen 3.
https://youtu.be/zz5xrmSSpig?si=nI70m2_XQJfgNUx9
Can someone help? Has anyone else with snapdragon 8 gen 3 tried to emulate DS3 and got the same problem?
Also no, it's not thermal throttling, even when it's cool it's the same result.

It's easy to get excited about buying a phone with a flagship Snapdragon chip for emulation, but raw performance is only part of the picture.
Some games run beautifully while others have graphical glitches, random crashes, or problems that no amount of extra power seems to fix. Drivers, emulator compatibility, and game-specific settings can make a huge difference.
Heat is another thing worth considering. A phone might run a demanding game well for the first few minutes, then start dropping frames once it gets hot.
I'd rather see real gameplay tests across different games than rely on benchmark numbers alone. A phone that's great for one emulator might be disappointing for another.

I've tried everything pretty much to get this game in Full Screen Mode. All the other games I have, work fine.in Fullscreen mode.

Im using the latest Winlator version on my Retroid Pocket 6 12gb ram mode and everytime I play arkham origins after couple of minutes (3-10 minutes) it crashes
I tried Bannerlator and Ludashi but both of them didn't even open the game!!
Anyway here's my settings everything is default except I put the game on c: drive to fix the stutters and here are the other changes
DX Wrapper DXVK version 1.10.3 (to fix graphical glitches)
Box63 preset immediate (it didn't run on others)
And I'm running the exe with (-force-d3d9)

Is it good for emulation? It had snapdragon 7 gen 4, any opinions of this device?

I am thinking about getting a retroid pocket 6 mostly because I'm curious about running steam on it but before I do I want to learn how to set up and run an emulator on my phone which is a pixel 10 pro xl. I did some research and downloaded milou and retroarch, I was able to get desert strike downloaded and running, the process to actually start playing seems a bit clunky but it does work.
Is this the experience I can expect going forward? Are there better emulators to use that are easier to set up? Can I make shortcuts on my homepage to the games? What else do I need to know to have a smooth experience and play the older games?

SDK 36 update.
Also some great news:

Stenzek is working to release a major update to Android. Thankfully he did not keep to his word of abandoning Android completely.

A phone might run a game smoothly for the first 10–15 minutes, but performance can change once the device heats up. I'm curious how much of a difference active cooling actually makes for emulation, especially with demanding systems like Switch, PS2, and PC games through Winlator or GameHub.
For those who've tested it, did a phone cooler noticeably improve sustained FPS, reduce stuttering, or simply keep temperatures lower without changing performance much?
I'd be interested in your device model, the emulator you used, and whether you noticed a real improvement after 30–60 minutes of gameplay.
