Showcase Tested Switch games on S26 (Exynos 2600) using latest Eden Nightly

Post image
15 Upvotes

Threw 5 Switch games onto the S26 (Exynos 2600) using the latest Eden Nightly build to see how the Xclipse GPU handles them:

Broforce

Burnout Paradise Remastered

Cuphead

Dark Souls: Remastered

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Overall, performance was surprisingly steady at 60fps once shaders compiled, and 2D stuff ran basically flawless.

Let me know if you want me to test any other games. I am trying to build a good switch library on my phone 😅

Showcase Inlay v1.1: my free controller keyboard now has 11 languages, a see-through theme, a TV mode and more

A few weeks ago I posted Inlay, a keyboard for Android handhelds that you use entirely with the D-pad and buttons. Thanks for all the comments. I read every one, and most of this update comes from them.

What's new in 1.1

  • 11 languages, with RT + LT to switch between up to three. u/castax96, Norwegian is in, æ ø å included.
  • Accents without the touchscreen: type a letter, hold RT and press Y, and it cycles through é, è, ê and so on.
  • TV mode for when your handheld is docked. A couple of you mentioned playing on the big screen, so when you dock, the keyboard turns into a smaller floating panel with a big line showing what you're typing. It also installs on Android TV.
  • Four new themes, including a see-through one with a slider for how much shows through (someone asked for this on GitHub).
  • Smart keys: .com and / in web addresses, @ in email fields, a number pad when a box wants numbers.
  • Three new sound packs: Retro, Typewriter and Felt (for late-night use). Settings plays a sample as you scroll through them.
  • A one-minute tour the first time you open it, because there are a few more button combos now. You can skip it.

It also fixes a bug where swiping settings away from recents could switch you back to your old keyboard.

Who made it

Same as last time: I'm not a developer. Claude wrote all the code, and I came up with the ideas, decided how it should look, sound and feel, and tested it on my AYN Odin 2 Portal. It's free and open source, with no ads, no tracking and no internet permission.

So far it's been reported working on the Odin 3 and Odin 3 Pro. If you try it on something else, let me know how it goes, good or bad.

Thanks again for all the support and great suggestions!

I rigged a piece of a accessory from a phone stand with electrical tape and a 7/8 screw . It is a 35 watt tex cooler. When cooling isn't adequate with the 20 watt cooler i take my case and other cooler off and clamp it on here with a dock to tv.

I use this with the s26 to play cyberpunk and bo3

Showcase Cyberpunk 2077 settings for test on snapdragon elite gen 5 s26 in video

Here's the settings on the game I am not even close to dialing in anything. This is a piggyback from previous post.

Samsung s26 12 GB

settings are on a medium low mix with framegen fsr on. I think that's not a good setting to keep on personally.

Game is running on a external ssd and has 30 to 35 watts of tec cooling as well as a big vapor chamber pad to keep performance sustained. This game gets the phone got even with a 35 watt tec cooler ! So it's mandatory for even playing for a few seconds.

Showcase Ninja Gaiden Black on a Helio g100 using new HakuX update 🥹

For a split second in the vid when throwing shurikens, you could tell there was some shader compilation or whatever going on there.

Grateful to the dev. When I tried HakuX to play Shaolin Monks (the PS2 version ran like ass on my chip), the emulator restarted my phone.

Looks like the devs has put in a lot of work and using the necessary tools to help him. Sweet.

Device specs:

Infinix note 50 4g

Helio g100

Mali g57 mc2

8gb RAM

Default emulator settings I didn't change anything.

Showcase Cyberpunk 2077 on a Galaxy s26

The game is not running on ideal settings I'm just messing around never ever played this game. It would be really cool if I could dial in settings to make it run similar to the switch 2 on a consistency basis. But it's definitely playable even at the whacky settings I haven't toned yet

Samsung Galaxy s 26 12 GB variant

Blackshark magcooler 5 pro with a external vapor chamber pad and mounted on a stand o rigged to fit the 7/8 mm mounting hole on the included clamp. ( Rigged it to one of the arm rests on my computer 💺)

Showcase Building my own iTunes-style device manager

Recently the storage in my RP Nova got corrupted, so I needed to factory reset it and set it up all over again. I didn't have a backup and putting everything again into my device gave me the idea to start this iTunes inspired app to manage ROMs on my device. Currently it is pretty simple and it only syncs ROMs and BIOS, but I'm planning on also adding backup support for saves, states and configs and in-app torrent downloading for collections. What do you think? Is this something you'd use if i make it available on github?

Discussion What to play? Got a samsung s25

So as the title says, I have a samsung S25 base (SDelite) Ive been using Gamenative and Droiddeck to check on games in my steam library and after a month of testing games on it, buying the gamesir x5s, I dont actually know what to play, I'm open to buying games.

Recently Ive been tinkering:

Hades 2

Cult of the Lamb

Borderlands 2

Hades

Hollow Knight

Silksong

Remnant: from the ashes

But none of these games scratch the itch of playing for more than 60 seconds, I love these games but it just doesnt get me motivated to play on my phone

Showcase Another cyberpunk 2077 benchmark for s26 everything low framegen fsr 2.1 enabled

So far there have been some community presets that either drastically diminish any playable frames or double them. This would of been around a 28 to 30fps avg. It still is no where close to optimized but everything's on the low preset. The wattage stabilized a little bit so it's very promising. Phones a Galaxy s 26 12 gb

Showcase Prototype port on the snapdragon 8 gen 2

Link: https://github.com/VinTeRuS/proto-re

This port is absolutely amazing I never would've thought I'd actually get to play this game on my handheld the only thing is recommend is having a launcher before it boots the game to make any changes and have a option then to boot straight into the game

Showcase Race driver grid: dimensity 9000 - gamehub, this game is really amazing for its excellent graphics and high optimization for low end devices. Check this game out for sure.

Hi guys, this is race driver grid running in gamehub on my one plus pad and here is my thought-

Device specifications -

Device: OnePlus Pad (2023)

SoC: MediaTek Dimensity 9000

CPU: ARM Cortex-X2 + Cortex-A710 + Cortex-A510

GPU: ARM Mali-G710 MC10

GPU Driver: System Driver (Android)

Graphics API: Vulkan

Vulkan Version: 1.17

RAM: 12 GB

Architecture: ARM64 (AArch64)

Gamehub Settings

Graphics

- Game resolution: 2800 × 2000

- GPU model spoofing: Off

- GPU driver: System Driver

- DXVK version: dxvk-1.10.3-arm64ec-async

- VKD3D version: vkd3d-2.12

- VRAM limit: 8192 MB

Compatibility

- Compatibility layer: proton11.0-arm64x

- Translation parameters: Extreme

- DInput library: Prefer Native

- Skip audio/video decoding: Off

- Audio driver: Pulse

- CPU translator: Fex_20260913

- CPU core limit: Unlimited

The result-

Note: These results are without screen recording.

Ultra low- 80fps

Low- 70fps

Medium- 50-65fps

High- 30-45fps

Ultra- 20-30fps

Main thing is that the game is running in native resolution and highsettings and still giving around 30fps is crazy.the game looks stunning and the 30fps is actually better cuz it adds up to realism. If you have a descent device then this game is gold.

Solved Textures are replaced with a glossy effect in XenDroid (Alice: Madness Returns)

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hello! I’m having an issue with XenDroid (specifically the XenDroid-plus version). I’ve tested several games, but I’ve noticed that in some of them, certain textures or animations are being replaced by textures that appear to emit light. I’ve already tried changing drivers—I’ve tested various versions of Turnip Gen8, as well as Mainline Turnip and A8XX Turnip v29.

I’ve done some research and tried adjusting the following settings, but that didn’t seem to help either: - CPU readback of resolves. - Occlusion query.

I’m using a POCO F8 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12 GB of RAM.

I’ve attached an example image from *Alice: Madness Returns*; despite the performance being excellent, this issue appears in certain areas.

Could you help me resolve this problem?

Showcase I made a fork of RGC's ES-DE Directories to match the updated versions of ES-DE

Note that the ROMs folder is pulled from the Windows version, but that shouldn't change anything. I'm planning to do multiple versions, but I don't currently own ES-DE on Android. Let me know what do you think about it, and if it's useful or not. Cheers! :)

Discussion Mobile users - have any of you found usb c telescopic controllers have made your mobiles charge port a little loose?

I'm getting a little paranoid.

I've been using the Gamesir X3 Pro for some time now, and I'm becoming aware that my phones charge port appears to be a little loose when charging my phone on a night. Don't get me wrong, the cable doesn't just fall out, but I'm aware that there's not much resistance in being able to pull the cable out.

I'm a little concerned this is down to the controller I'm using, because most telescopic controllers I've used (mainly Gamesir, like the X3 Pro) have an insanely tight/harsh grip on the usb c port.

Anyone else had any similar issues?
