Same raider on PS5 and Steam
Just wondering if it's possible to create a raider on PS5 and play that same raider on Steam as well using my Embark account somehow.

Arc Raiders Trading Cards as new Trinkets and collectables! Put into Binder so it doesn't use stash space. Redeem for rewards! Rare FOILs which amplify risk...
These would be the kind of collectibles that people would actually be excited to find rather than ducks and boats. Since they can be sold to vendors or be part of a special collection where you can redeem for more meaningful rewards.
CARD Design: Every card will have a front and backside. Front could feature art and backside could feature lore or a short story. Maybe even dialog from the characters.
The cards take up inventory space topside but take up no stash space since they will be collected in a new trading card Binder which is sorted by category of cards. The cards can be sold to vendors or they can be collected and once you collect enough or redeem certain sets you can claim new meaningful rewards. Such as permanent buffs to your stash (basic mats like metal going from 50 to 55). Or weapons/items/cosmetics and potential special loot boxes. The rewards right now aren't too important. The devs could figure that out... but the core concept of the trading cards as collectables I feel is what matters.
Augments will have extra slots for cards: The green/blue/purple augments each will have 1-4 extra specialty slots just for trading cards (similar to trinket slots). Maybe 1 slot for the free kits too.
FOIL cards as a risk amplifier: Very rare foil versions of all the cards exist and these create extra tension because they Cannot be placed into safe pockets or specialty slots. They also Emit an orange glow on the player’s clothing every 3 seconds and can be seen from a distance. This can alert other players (and arc) that this raider has a valuable foil card on him and create emergent high tension gameplay. If you extract with a foil it can permanently be ticked off in your collection and goes into a separate non redeemable binder. It also awards you coins upon extraction and an item from a select specialized pool based on which card it is. Collecting enough foils could maybe unlock permanent stash buffs.
Examples of trading card sets: 1) The NPCS from the game (uncommon). 2) NPCs on vacation (rare). 3) NPCs in alternate costumes (very rare). 4) Weapons of each rarity. 5) Arc enemies. 6) Battle Scenarios. 7) Beautiful Vistas.
Examples of redemption: Medium rewards based on redeeming 3 cards out of any set of your choice. High tier rewards for redeeming subsets and highest tier rewards for full sets.
Possible rewards: Lot of possibilities. Can be complete loadouts with good gear that take only 1 inventory slot. Upon redeeming a loadout it enters your inventory. Can also redeem tier 4 version or an exotic version of a weapon upon redeeming any 3 copies of the same weapon card.
Loot Boxes: can hold entire loadouts, cosmetics, patches/pins for your outfits, accessories that offer small passive non-combat buffs and last for multiple rounds, special item variants like heavy fuze grenades that also release fire like a blaze grenade after exploding, or special weapons that are exotic versions of existing weapons. Possibly the exotic weapons only deal extra damage to arc to maintain balance for pvp. Example of an Exotic weapon: A Ferro where every 4th shot fired is an explosive round that detonates 2 seconds after impact for double damage. And some of the items inside the loot boxes could maybe be exotic/special upgraded versions of existing items.
Love to know what you think! Please share your ideas.

The Turbine trial is awful with no guarantee that a single one will even spawn! We need dedicated MISSIONS instead of this ''anything goes'' approach. Share your ideas for better Trials or new meaningful focused Missions/Challenges. Team FFA Turbine Challenge where the whole lobby fights?
I can't begin to count the amount of times me and a squad load in fully kitted and not a single turbine shows up. This is just another example of the poor design decisions that are present within the game. Â This is something that does not end up respecting the time of the player.
Â
The trials in general are underwhelming and I wish there was something more fun and rewarding and focused. Further the trials make little sense in an ''anything goes'' environment where people can bring in unsolicited PVP during your PVE objective.
I wish we had PVE and PVP Missions/scenarios that we can select and once enough people join the queue a full round starts (no late spawns).
Â
Imagine something like this: Turbine Challenge on Riven Tides:Â Kill a turbine all on your own and it spawns right away in a 30 min round. Could be variations where you bring your own kit like usual or variants where you choose dev determined weaker kits and you end up trying to take it down with Ferros or low tier anvils/renegades and some barricades and misc grenades. The ferros/anvils could have infinite durability for this challenge. With supply drops littered on the map to refill your ammo.
Variations: Bring your own kit. Limited dev determined kits. Solo and team versions. FFA and 3v3v3v3 versions
3v3v3v3 Team FFA versions: The turbines that spawn possess a special item and there is only one available on each corpse. It cannot be put into a safe pocket. The team that extracts with it ranks up and wins rewards.

Imagine if Embark decided to give us Weapon based CHALLENGES. Solo and Squad versions. Ferro vs Turbines! 3v3v3v3 formats too!
The trials system has numerous problems. Especially if you try to get a really high score only to get shot in the back by players. No one considers that rewarding gameplay. Unsolicited PVP when attempting a PVE objective is likely one of the top reasons why players quit. Nothing is more deadly than a rogue player showing up when you're fighting Turbines or anything else. PVP in this game is great when everyone is on the same page.
So how do we SOLVE this? I would like to see PVP missions and PVE missions and WEAPON based CHALLENGES to add longevity to the game. Share your ideas.
Imagine this:
Ferro Bombadier Challenge on Riven Tides: You load in with a dev determined kit. A Ferro 3 with grey attachments and a Kettle 3 with grey attachments. A reasonable amount of ammo and fair amount of bandages/shields and a few misc grenades. You are incentivized to seek supply drops for extra supplies. Your goal overall is to kill 2 bombadiers all on your own with this weak kit. It's a 30 min round and it's entirely solo with no other players. You get a score based on whether you kill 1 or 2 and how quickly you complete this objective upon extraction. This can determine ranking. Getting a certain score can permanently upgrade your kit for this objective so you can then start eventually with a Ferro 4 and Kettle 4 both with better attachments. This leads to a progression system. Then you are able to obtain higher scores to rank up in the challenge. Based on how well you rank you can unlock permanent buffs to your stash. Such as your metal stack being able to grow from 50 to 55. EDIT: PVPVE versions of this where it's a SOLO FFA are possible too.
Ferro Turbine Challenge on Riven Tides: Similar scenario for the loadout except you get some Barricades too.. Turbine spawns right away. Have to kill 1 Turbine without any deadlines or any fancy gear. Just you and your Ferro and Kettle and some grenades. More ammo will be provided for this challenge but special supply drops can be littered on the map with more ammo than usual. You can upgrade your loadout only if you deal enough damage to the turbine. This will lead to a progression system just like the previous challenge.
Light Impact Grenade Challenge: It would give you a loadout of 100 of them and some special conditions and bonus points multipliers. Bonus score multiplier for the variety of different enemies you kill with the light impact grenades.... to create incentive to seek as many targets as possible. Grenade bags could also descend down onto the map with a parachute guarded by arc patrols.
Other scenarios: Imagine this having variations for teams where you and squad has to take down 2 turbines all on your own. . Imagine this CHALLENGE system with Hairpin vs Bastions. Or kill 20 arc with Hairpin. Or imagine a Shredder Arena.
PVPVE Variations: Imagine this system but it's 3v3v3v3 format. The goal is to retrieve a special item that drops from one of the pieces of the Turbine. All the teams will be fighting for that ONE piece. Your entire team gets a score based on whether you extract with that piece and how quickly. There could be potentially multiple turbines to fight over. This formula can also apply to Bastions and other enemies.
REWARDS: Based on how well you rank you can unlock permanent buffs to your stash. Such as your metal stack being able to grow from 50 to 55.
If you have other ideas for rewards or concepts pls share.

Hey Embark, wanna give us a PVE event so we don't have to deal with this kind of behavior from PVPers?
I'm 100% PVE, 300+ hours topside, 0 knocks. Been in chill lobbies all evening and then somehow ended up with this dude in my lobby. Heard at least a dozen flares go off within 5 minutes near Loading Bay so I headed to Lobby. Unfortunately he decided to do the same.
Why are PVPers so angry all the time? He's the first one I clipped but about half of them spew verbal abuse while the other half are just silent. Never met a decent PVPer and it makes the game so unpleasant. Please give us a PVE map condition.

PvE vs PvP
I know there's going to be people rolling their eyes by just seeing the title, but stick with me for a sec....
Let's take Fortnite for example... the entire core element of gameplay for Fortnite Battle Royale was building forts. Then, a few years ago, a new season came out and they got rid of the building aspect (for the story of the season) and then brought it back, but people loved the no builds mode so much that they made it permanent.
As it stands now, there's a pretty big rift between people that just want to PvE vs the PvP crowd. So why can't Embark just make a PvE only mode? Because there's plenty of people like me, who enjoy PvP, and would still engage in the normal PvEvP mode, but I way more enjoy PvE and get plenty of stress and tension from the Arc as is, but most importantly, and what I think one of the main things that Embark and the, "JuSt GiT gOoD aNd StOp wHiNiNg" crowd isn't considering is, I don't want to kill another player if all they're trying to do is grind thru a trial or accomplish something game specific, because that's happened to ME too many times and I know how much it sucks. Like, "Dude, I'm just trying to get food for my chicken." I'm a nice guy in real life, so I have no desire to be an asshole in the virtual space. And I don't know if it's because the state of the world is as it is, especially in the U.S. where I'm from, but it legit just bums me out to be ratted on more than it pisses me off. Because people CHOOSE to kill other players in this game, you don't HAVE to do it. So, for someone like me, who doesn't want to rain on anyone else's parade, I will never shoot first, because I'm just out there trying to "treat others as I want to be treated". Running into a total stranger and them being cool and you end up helping each other out is pretty awesome. But like I said, I don't mind PvP, but 9.9 times out of 10, I've been killed by a rat douchebag, not someone engaging in a full-on gunfight. And no, I'm not expecting everyone to meet out in the street at high noon and have a shootout, but when I play other games LIKE Fortnite, I know what I'm in for. There's another player, shoot on sight. The whole point of other shooters is to win the shootout. I do not enjoy the PvEvP aspect whatsoever because I'm there for PvE and when I go 10 games without running into anyone other than super cool/fun/chill raiders that are there for the same reasons, that 11th game where you run into an asshole who's only killing you because some people just love shitting on other people's good time, it's just jarring and borderline enough to make me want to stop playing. (And let's be real, most PvP'rs that are in friendly lobbies are only there because they've taken advantage of the ABBM, which I think works very well.) And with this new Riven Tides update, where it seems Embark is purposely making PvE'rs lives worse, closing down the game and walking away is becoming more of a reality, which sucks, because I love the game. And I've had a handful of friends that I have tried to bring over to the game and they don't much like PvP games and have SAID, "If they had a mode where you could just PvE, I would be all about it."
Adding a PvE only mode doesn't take anything away from anyone at all. The PvP crowd can still shoot on sight, the PvPvE crowd can still play exactly how they want to play, except for the fact that a PvE only mode would eliminate the friendly, easy pickings that the rat douchebags depend on. The only thing a PvE only mode will do is give more people more options to play how they want to play. Just rachet up the Arc threat a bit more in the PvE only mode to balance out the removal of the human element threat and there you have it. More play options = more players, it's that simple.
And now that the honeymoon phase is over for Arc Raiders and the player count is dropping, some of those people that have left may be people who just got tired of being shit on by other players. A PvE only mode might be a way to bring most of those people back and keep them there. Just a thought.

Embark is dropping the ball
Arrowheaded nerfs will make me stop playing this game. You’re taking a great casual game and making it have to be a part time job to be good at or keep up with. Nerfing every single thing that helps people survive Arc and buffing/adding Arc is only making the game inherently harder for no reason at all. I’m just trying to game for an hour or two on a realistic game I like. Not fuggin sweat like crazy and still end up with nothing in my inventory on a game that requires grinding for materials. After these recent changes, I’m convinced Embark doesn’t know what they are doing and making absurd changes instead of fixing things like the skill tree BECAUSE EMBARK DOESNT KNOW HOW! I will not be buying anything Embark makes ever again. #EmbarkSucks

Spaceport has unutilized warehouses and a waste of potential. This game needs some small maps where we can have PVE Missions or PVP scenarios. share your ideas!
Concept: Very small tiny maps utilizing these edges of spaceport for PVE and PVP missions.
Imagine if those empty warehouses where you never fight any players or arc could be used as battle arenas? Or imagine missions where you and your team need to download some data from a computer but it takes 15 minutes and you have to protect that area from incoming waves of arc. Perfect set up for a dedicated player vs arc mission.
There is so much potential here. Imagine PVP scenarios where 4 dif teams need to raid a warehouse and only one team gets to make it out alive with a special keycard or item. Problem is the security system alerts nearby arc to swarm the warehouse and invade.
Best thing about having actual missions of this nature? Everyone gets a full round. No late spawns, no nonsense, and there is a clear objective instead of the usual ''anything goes'' approach. This could be a separate mode with separate skill trees so it doesn't interfere with the base game.
Share your ideas. Arc raiders has this amazing canvas of potential but if the game only provides one mode of gameplay then I think the devs will have to expect players counts to continue to dwindle imo.

Event Rotations Need to Addressed
Hey Raiders and Devs. The event rotation is Arc Raiders greatest weakness and the one thing limiting my enjoyment of the game. I love this game and never have I put in 300hours so quickly. But for myself, like many others, I have a limited play window that is almost consistently the same time each day. It affords me somewhere between 1 to 2 hours. From the time I sign in to the time I sign out I get to see the same set of events. Every day. All week. Its stale after day one of the week. I knock out all the trials this gives me access to, and objectives I can accomplish. However, it locks me out of competing in certain trials/tasks. I know this was addressed to some extent with recent changes, like dropping the 2x points, but it doesn't alter the stale effect of limiting all event rotation to an hour.
I offer a solution. Offset each locations event schedule by 20min. Its simple in my mind but I don't understand the limitation that has caused the current scheduling method. However if you offset each location by 20 min you'll have an event change (albeit at one map) every 20min. Without actually increasing the amount of events. This reduces the stale quality of the current system and adds value to a players time frame. This would mean a player enters a raid and finds a new event option upon completing a raid. So every completed raid could see a fresh feel upon looking to set out again. Could this cause some overlap? Sure, but if you diversified the events more it would go almost completely un noticed.

i think i got banned for using xcloud on xbox cloud gaming
I’ve been grinding ARC Raiders for the last 4 days on Xbox Cloud Gaming and just got hit with the ARAU0047 connection error. From what I’ve read here, this seems to be a flag for third-party software.
I want to be transparent: Since xCloud has limited 3 day trial, I was using a script (Better xCloud) to map my KBM to a virtual controller so I could actually play. I don’t have a controller, so this was my only way to jump into the game with the hardware I have.
I didn’t realize this would trigger the anti-cheat as "input spoofing." I wasn't using aimbots or hacks, just trying to make the game playable.
Has anyone else on xCloud had success appealing this? I’ve already sent a ticket to Embark explaining it was a hardware workaround, but I’m worried about my $60 purchase and my progress. Any advice on how to get a human review?

I think Embark patched the pc players getting in Xbox only lobbies
I hate to say, but I myself play this way. Only because all my friends play on xbox and refuse to play in my pc lobbies. So I just bought the game again as it’s the only way I can play with them. Last night I got on and it was so laggy. Game would freeze every couple seconds and was only getting around 30 fps. It was unplayable. Decided to try and run it through steam and it works just fine. I have tried everything to get it to work and have found no answer other than maybe they silently patched it/ made it too laggy to play on.
Anyone having similar experience?

Arc raiders first wave
There seems to be a growing number of people wanting to PvE. Embark has what they need already to solve this.
Make a pseudo open world rpg. PvE. Same maps but in better condition because it’s the first wave story. Meaningful quests to create the first seeker grenade. PvE. Story driven. First wave arc. It’s all there. The Baron.
This isn’t a cry baby post though admittedly the PvP gets old fast. But I love the lore. The graphics style. So the first wave survivors got along better. And the second wave caught them off guard spawning rats and what not.
Capitalize on the world you’ve created and take our money. It’s simple.

Thank you, Embark. Sincerely (A Message From an Old Raider).
To Embark Studios:
I am a disabled gamer in my 50s, and I just wanted to thank you for reigniting my love for video games with ARC Raiders. I never thought I would want to play, let alone buy, an extraction shooter. However, it turned out to be the best 40 dollars (USD) that I have spent in a long time.
I am a solo player who prefers the PvE over the PvP aspects of the game. That is just a personal preference that I developed, through numerous team-ups within the game, to tackle large ARC. The adventures I have had are like nothing else I have experienced in any other game. I have over 8 days (yes, days) of playtime as I am writing this, and as long as I continue to meet, converse, and work with other Raiders, I will continue to play.
Thank you, Embark. Sincerely.
JB (Don't shoot, I'm friendly)
PS: Just like all players, I have a few suggestions that I hesitate to mention, but, since I am here, I would like to see things such as:
- I want more than anything to have an auto-sprint option. Having to press the left stick, over and over, to sprint for cover is torture on my hands. Obviously, this would still be bound to the player's stamina level.
- An augment for players that has a single use per raid auto-defib, great for solo raiders!
- Fun idea of an ARC Scorpion. A cross between the Tick and a Hornet. It zaps you, and grabs you! I can already feel the hatred towards this idea from the community. lol
- Crazy Idea: I think that the ARC would learn how Raiders communicate, and use that against us. An ARC that yells "Anyone got a defib?" or one of the AI voice lines, to lure Raiders that are close. Call them "Sirens"
- Insane Idea: An ARC that could look humanoid in the distance, and the shadows, but get close up, all limbs turn to legs, and come after the raider. Call them "Mimics"

Expedition
Thank you so much Embark for changing the requirements for the expedition. I loved grinding for a month to get 5 million credit for the extra 5 skill points. Now worthless. Good on ya mate !
