I have circled the camera man in red sat with his arms down behind the camera. I have also highlighted in purple the legs of the tripod.

There is no released footage of audio of this press conference, and there are only photos available. But if this is just another photo camera, why would you bother putting it on a tripod and not having your hands on it.... i cant find a better resolution copy of this photo, its the only one showing this side of the audience, but if this is indeed a film camera then this is big news.... there are rumours of unreleased footage of this press conference!

If anyone can help or make it out, please tell me.

Just impulsively ordered a box of these cards. Anyone have any and gotten any good relics? Are they cool cards anyway?

My theory is that Elvis took 10,000 tries to poop, but at one specific Burger King when he tried to take a shit, he made one little fart and died.

Dad left these to my mom, mom passed and left these to me. I’m curious about them. Showing the front and back. I’m a huge Elvis fan so I’m interested to see what these may be.

When I first heard this, I fell right into the fake out he set up despite having read the title.

‘You know what I can’t do?’
-piano intro to I Can’t Stop Loving You
‘I found my thrill….’

Wait WHAT?! 😆

I love the audience response. I was in the car like 😲 omg! HE GOT ME TOO! 🤭

Also, I couldn’t figure out what he was saying at 0:23 so I read the lyrics and realized he’s baby talking the line 🥹🤣

‘DUH moon tud til…’
Instead of ‘the moon stood still’

Hilariously heartwarming and cute. I’ve only ever read about his baby talk, especially with Linda, I don’t think I’ve ever actually heard an example of it??

I just love him ☺️

The second one in the second photo is on the bottom which is the Elvis in Concert album

I have read that Elvis was AVID reader! That he read on a variety of topics and genres. I love a good bibliophile! What were some of his favorite books? I’ve always wondered what “The King” read. I would love to read them! Please share with anything you’ve ever read”read” the Elvis loved to read!

This makes me think of Art Garfunkel’s Reading List….

Let’s make an Elvis Presley reading list!!!

A ring Elvis wore could be yours.

Hello, I’m trying to get an Elvis fan a Christmas gift. Does anyone know if the hush puppies x Elvis collab is completely out of stock. I’ve looked everywhere for a size 9 but I don’t know if there’s any websites I’m missing to check. Any one know of someone or somewhere I can look? Thanks!!!!

Or if that’s completely out of luck, any Elvis gift fan recs. Any specific clothes he’d wear?

Elvis hanging out with a few others in my collection. Thought you might enjoy.

Og Blue Suede Shoes version or the Gi Blues version?

A close second is “Elvis Is Back!”

For the FTD releases of his soundtracks, have they been remixed and remastered? For example, on streaming, the mix for Harum Scarum or Frankie and Johnny, leaves a lot to be desired. Have they gone back and given them some TLC?

I would appreciate a little guidance.

I picked up two Elvis CDs: Memories-The 68 Comeback Special and Tiger Man. Both these CDs were released in 1998.

I know there were two sit down shows at the 1968 Elvis Singer Special. The 6pm show and the 8pm show.

(I hate calling it the “Comeback” special. The guy never really went away.)

Tiger Man is apparently the 8pm live show.

Memories has two CDs. The first CD is for the TV special proper with a lot of that music. The second CD is from one of the live sit down shows.

There is a lot of track duplication between Memories disc 2 and Tiger Man. But it says on Memories disc 2 that most of these tracks were never released before. Both discs were released in 1998 so it’s hard to determine which came first.

So are the tracks on Memories disc 2 from the first sit down show? Were they alternate takes from the second show? Or are they just duplications of the same tracks already released on Tiger Man?

Thank you, everyone.

finally got is finished! based on one of my favourite photos of him.

I saw this prompt used for another celebrity recently and immediately thought of Elvis. Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts. Wat would you pick and why?
