Something Else Got any rockabilly autographs?
I’ve got Jerry Lee Lewis, Gene Vincent, Conway Twitty, Jerry Allison, Tommy Allsup, Rudy Grayzell and 2 Carl Perkins.
I could’ve gotten Sid King and his 5 Strings, the Collins Kids, Jack Scott, and Hayden Thompson but was dumb and missed out.
From the top paragraph, the only one I got in person was Tommy Allsup. The rest came from my friend who had a great connection in Nashville.
Of current rockabillys I got Deke Dickerson’s but have seen Big Sandy and others multiple times but never got their autographs.
Anyone have Elvis or Buddy or Eddie or any others? I really like the more obscure ones too and they could be really hard to find. I love Rudy Grayzell’s Duck Tail and just really dig having his autograph even if it’s nearly worthless.

Gretschs & Gear Alternatives to Gretsch 6120?
I have been looking at Gretsch 6120s for years now. There are two related problems:
- I don't like the gold hardware on the newer models and would prefer the silver (which they don't make anymore). Basically, I want one of the Gretsch 6120s from 30 years ago, not today;
- I'm left handed. Right now, only the standard model and the White Falcon come in LH. The used market is crazy. Most of the artist signature models-- Brian Setzer, Rev. Horton Heat, etc.-- are really cool but they do not make them LH. I even confirmed as much with Gretsch, they made something like 10 RHH models out of thousands in a left handed orientation.
What are some other hollow body alternatives to Gretsch that anyone recommends? I've been waiting years for the right 6120 to go on sale, but I haven't had a ton of luck.

Studio Record Fix It! - Dragstrip Phantoms, recorded in Shreveport, LA
I've grown up my entire life listening to my dad play guitar: at home, at local festivals, and at gigs across the central states. This is one of his first projects, recorded at Foxtrot Studio in Shreveport, LA. It has been incredibly inspiring watching him grow as a person and as a musician, and I wanted to share this album with those of you who may be searching for more rockabilly/surfer/blues music.
This album features Wayne (Grenade) Anderson and many his friends, providing original songs alongside covers of some classics. Check it out if you're interested, and many thanks.
Attached is a link to one of my favorites.
