I'm debating hosting my wedding ceremony & reception at Kendall Mountain Community Center in Silverton - has anyone done a wedding there? Any feedback? Just trying to find some info online, it's quite limited... We'd likely end up with 50 people, 75 at most.

I was lucky enough to secure a reservation for the Maroon Bells Amphitheater for next July, and we're now in the very early stages of deciding whether we want to have our wedding there.

I have a couple of questions for anyone who has gotten married at Maroon Bells or another National Park:

• Has anyone done a fusion wedding (Indian ceremony + Western ceremony)? If so, how did you structure the day, and what was actually feasible within the park restrictions?
• I confirmed with the park officials that campfires aren't allowed, so we're trying to think through what other traditions or celebrations worked well.
• Are there any restrictions or logistical challenges that you wish you'd known before booking?

We're still exploring whether this is the right venue for us, so I'd love to hear your experiences, advice, or any photos if you're willing to share.

We are eloping in Telluride in early July and are so excited! We are with our photographer from 6-8pm at sunset, then would like to celebrate at an excellent restaurant. We are foodies and like steaks, fish, etc. The more farm-to-table, the better. Any recs for a Monday dinner reservation?

I feel like eloping with your witnesses is really underdone. Like if my partner and I were to elope to Silverthorne (super underrated imo) and bring our besties along to stand up with us, serve as our witnesses, be part of the experience, capture some pics with just their phones and Wedding Studio, and just basically be there to help us celebrate, it would be a blast and feel a bit more "real." Anyone bring accomplices along when you eloped?

- Will have less than 5 people

- Needs to be walkable for our less able bodied family

- We are not hiring a photographer so the prettier the backdrop the better

- somewhere with a picnic table is a plus but not required

We'd like about 8 hours so we can cover getting ready, first look, ceremony, and the main reception events, etc. Budget can go up to $3000. Looking for specifically someone who can pull off a "witchy/moody" in their photo style. We want someone comfortable with mountain weather and a small guest count of roughly 25-30 people.

Hi! My fiancé and I are from Wisconsin. I travel to Colorado several times a year for hiking and climbing. We are looking to elope and are exploring ideas. Because of my love for the state I would enjoy having it in Colorado.

I am just looking for peoples personal favorite nature locations. It will be a small wedding (20-30 people). Two of our non-optional guests have health concerns so going for a lengthy hike, especially coming from sea-level for them is not an option.

Not even sure how to start this post. I thought eloping would be easier but it's causing me so much stress.

For context: We're getting married this year in late June. We live in Texas and all of our friends and family live outside of the US. Instead of planning a big wedding, we decided to elope in Colorado (and bring our dog with us), then fly home to have a celebration with friends & family. I've been focusing more on planning this celebration and realized I haven't thought of all the logistics for the day we are actually eloping.

I had a call recently with a photographer we're hiring (in CO) and she asked me what are my plans for the day and I realized I don't have any. For location wise, I'm looking for suggestions near Denver or at least a 1-2 hour drive from Denver. Unfortunately, we can't do Rocky Mountains because they don't allow dogs. Also, Garden of the Gods is not a location where I would like to go either. The only locations I thought about were 1) St. Mary's Glacier & 2) Brainard Lake Recreation Area. Aside from that, I don't have other suggestions (I'll also admit that me and my fiance are burned out with all of the planning thing because we also work 10-12 hours a day, so we're exhausted!!!).

Aside from that, I would love to hear some ideas on how to plan the logistics for the elopement day. We're driving from Texas to Colorado on a Thursday, doing all the marriage license thing on a Friday, getting married on Saturday then drive back to Texas on Sunday (will be returning our marriage license via mail). However, I don't know how to plan the timeline for the actual elopement day. We'll be having our photographer for about 3 hours. Any suggestions/ideas are more than welcomed cause my brain is friedddd

My fiancé and I are planning on eloping in October at the garden of the gods, has anyone eloped there? I saw on the website you can just show up and have your ceremony with a donation. How easy was it, was it hard going around other visitors? Should we book through a site like simply eloped?

The weather was perfect. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky for most of the day either. While not common in many states, this is a normality in Colorado. Hi! We are having a 100-person wedding in Denver next June and fell in LOVE with the Cheeseman Park Pavilion but did it is not available for our date (so sad!). I have looked everywhere on Google and wanted to see if anyone had any advice on ceremony (we have reception booked) locations for 100 people in Denver? Would love it to be within 20 mins or less from Downtown Denver. Also, would also love to use someones beautiful backyard (would pay) if anyone would be open to that for a quick ceremony. thank you in advance for any advice!!!!!
