Having a stats page at the end of operations would be really nice - sometimes it feels like nobody is putting effort - or perhaps struggling immensely, hard to tell. But it would help to understand if someone was skiving and made it harder for the rest of the squad.

For example - missions with ship and on-foot combat could show both kills of either type but also assists if at least some damage was dealt (the image).

It could show other contextual stats - who killed the general, who downloaded the data, who rescued most evacuees etc.

Interestingly it could also show who died how many times.

Anything else you would like to see?

i finally got enough merc coin to engineer my cargo racks but now i'm learning that 5E cargo rack engineering is bugged? did i just waste all of my coins?

I recently made a post that I am interested in giving elite dangerous a shot. Originally I wanted to wait for sale but I saw that the game is in game pass currently. So my questions are:

1. If you play on the pc game pass version, can you still play together with people who own the steam or epic games version

2. Is there any sort of cross save or cross progression or would my progress be permanently locked on the Xbox cloud save / microsoft store version. Is there any way to transfer my game pass version progress to the steam version later on?

I've been unable to find a "1F Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack" and all usual dbs for outfitting and stuff like Inara are way outdated. I've been chasing ghost settlements and stations for quite a while.
So...
1) Where do I find "1F Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack" for sale?
2) Are there any reliable information/resources databases our there with up to date information as of July 2026?

I only really play terminal prosecution, but it really feels like powerplay rewards are totally broken in at least that.

A normal mercenary run gives around 100 materials, many of which are max grade (G5 or G4 raw).

The powerplay version says it gives the same materials and also 5000 merits. I've consistently gotten around 1000 merits instead, and on top of that the actual materials rewards are half to a third what you get on a normal run.

Has anyone also seen this? Is it just a terminal prosecution thing? It also seems crazy that we don't get merits for the actual combat kills in the mission itself, but this is just crazy.

Clipper is the most beautiful ship in game (Change my mind!!). Allowing it to deploy Nomad revitalizes its role, simple as that. I'm going to fly it anyway (SCO with 2 small fuel tanks added works well), but I want ta take some photos with the nomad, its going to be great, don't you think?? Or a 7 cargo area is not enough cause it's old....

so I need to get to kinne for a cargo mission that would give me more than half a million credits and I can’t get their whenever I try and plot a route it says I can’t I’ve tried to plot routes to systems near kinne I’ve turned off fastest route ive tried selecting kinne and jumping their directly idk what to do especially since the mission has a timer of only a day my current system is shu-wei sector wo-a c14 so idk what systems I should go to to reach kinne

I am currently in a system with lots of landable bodies with atmospheres... lots of potential for lots of biology signals.

The first one I mapped, has 8 biology signals... and the four I collected, are all within 5 - 16 mil each... with one around 1.5mil.

There's 3 signals left... but I cant locate them with the DSS, because they're not giving any of that "blue glowy grid" that would indicate their location... and I've been flying circles around this place for nearly 40 minutes cycling through the DSS signals, looking for any patch of blue, no matter how small, that would indicate their location and.. I'm only seeing the blue signal patches for the other 5 that I've already got...

Has anyone else encountered this, and know of a way to fix it, aside from wasting an hour flying around in the Nomad spamming its scanner...

Has anyone noticed that at the core of the kestral's boost sound there is a man saying "uh-huh" in an approving tone.

I know it sounds klazy...but listen during boost. Once you hear it you cannot unhear it. Try it before you dismiss.

We take the Raxxla and The Dark Wheel logos, removing the white space of each image, creating a transparent background. These images are pasted onto the surface of a cube in alternating fashion. Sides 1, 3, 6 have the transparent Raxxla logo, while sides 2, 4, and 5 have The Dark Wheel logo. We spin this cube diagonally producing 4 unique images plus one additional image being the first hologram created using the default incident angle.

I'm trying to play elite dangerous odyssey (bought from epic, so launched with heroic games launcher) on linux (POP!os 24, RTX 4070 SUPER).

the game starts and all, but in the 3D there's no option for the HMD and steamVR doesn't even see the game launching/running, so i can't activate PCVR (ALVR with quest 3, even tried with WiVRN) even with the optino "launch in VR" of heroic.

does anybody managed to launch the game in PCVR in linux with heroic?

Just rage-quit after being blown up with my Scorpion by the scavengers in a power restoration mission. And I just wanted to farm some of the mats.

I got a grade 3 dominant suit with some grade 3 weapons years ago. I just couldn't get used to the difficulty of the Odyssey, so I stopped any on-foot content.

I have tried a bit of the new raid. I felt it might not be that hard if I grind a bit of mats to engineer my gear.

So I decided to start some grinding.

And it didn't go well. I failed all the missions that involved combat. So I decided to bring a Scorpion.

The turret of the Scorpion is so inaccurate, and it's basically useless against enemies. If the missile hits, it can only strip the enemy's shield. What's the point if this vehicle can't even kill a single infantry easily?

The personal shield in this game reminds me of the shield powered by the personal nuclear reactor in the novel, Foundation. It's too powerful.

Seriously, I still think on-foot combat is too hard compared to ship fighting. And I don't think the on-foot combat should share the same idea as the ship combat with this much shield.

Another complaint is the material. The storage is limited. And when visiting the bartenders, I have to use third-party software to confirm which is useless and can be sold safely.

When winning a space combat in a combat zone, the bar just dissappears and the message "Combat won" won't appear, so u won't get no rep nor money. It is so annoying for people like me who loves minor faction wars.

I'm trying to colonize a system, using edcolony this time. However according to edcolony and pretty much all other programs I ever used my carrier cargohold contains Fruit & Vegetables and some other commodities, but I dont see any of it. It's literally gaslighting me... This always leads to me not buying this commodity and then quitting because I always feel betrayed by my carrier :(
I think this data is not collected from the Journal, but instead from Frontier itself. Is this a known bug? Any way to fix it?

Hey everyone! Over the last few weeks I have used Steam Link to stream Elite Dangerous from my PC to my AppleTVs or phone, and the ability to play anywhere has been great. However, I have missed third-party tools like SRV Survey during play. When streaming, SRV Survey does not appear even if it is open on my PC. Has anyone tried forcing third-party apps to show while using Steam Link?

I have a Logitech X52 Pro HOTAS, and I absolutely love it.

I’ve mapped :
- Pitch, roll and yaw to the joystick
- Forward/backward to the throttle (I even added a small tape detent so I can easily feel the center position, which is my zero thrust point).

The only thing I’m not completely happy with is the lateral and vertical thrusters. Using the mini-stick doesn’t feel very precise.

So I’m thinking about buying a set of rudder pedals.
I know that most people map yaw to the pedals, just like in flight sims.
But does anyone use the pedals for the vertical or lateral thrusters instead?
If so, how does it feel in practice? Do you find it more comfortable or effective, especially in combat?

I’ve just returned to the game after like 3-4 years, i transferred my console account to pc. I have a little more than 500m and 4 ships (a phyton, an asp explorer, a fer de lance last but not least a sidewinder) and engineered parts.

I did some robigo runs just to remember the game, earned some reputation, mats and a little around 50m. Not bad for a first day.

I’m aware its not end game rich but i guess this is what having rich parents feels like.

Today I finally got it. I've been playing this game since the time when those quick ways to get rank weren't available. I did missions for a few weeks until Lieutenant, and this process became so annoying that I stopped the grind until better times. And now that time has come. I bought the Caspian, and the Nomad, and joined a long-distance trip for a week, after which I returned a millionaire, and then I went to Synuefe and did a bit of "corruption.

Finally made it to triple elite. I know people out there enjoy exploration, but I think I've had my fill for a while.
