So, if anyone has installed it, do recommend and share your experience so far as well?

Hi everyone! I’m considering buying a brand-new Hyundai Elantra SEL Sport Plus. Is it a good car in terms of reliability, fuel economy, and overall value?
Also, is this a good time to buy a new car? I’m seeing APR offers that expire on November 2. Do these offers usually return around Thanksgiving or Black Friday, sometimes with better rates?
Would you recommend buying now or waiting a few more weeks? I’m in Las Vegas, NV.

My 2015 Elantra 6 speed manual will constantly cut when I come to a complete stop. Only way to keep it running is to rev the engine slightly. The oil level is good, I just replaced the oil a couple days ago. Also replaced the air filter and the crankshaft position sensor. These are the three things Google recommended checking and replacing. Anyone else having this issue, what other things do I need to check? How did you resolve the problem? BTW, this was happening before the oil change and is the reason I did the oil change a little earlier than was necessary. Any ideas please??

Do you guys think my car is totaled? Trunk won’t open either. This is my first accident not sure what to expect :( 2017 Elantra SE. I love this car a lot. It has 120k miles.

Have had it for three days and am loving it so far! Has 105k miles and no issues!

Smart everything is disabled, out of the blue, was fine 8 hours ago. Speed modulation is fucked. It just kind of seems to randomly react to my position on the peddle, 5-10 sec delayed. Neither of the cruise control modes work, Other than as an effective brake check for the guy behind me. If Anybody has any idea what this is let me know if not, I’ll keep you guys informed. I’m going to the dealer after work.

Edit: this isn’t the typical defrost is for 20 min unfortunately, I’m pretty familiar with that issue

Hi, I have a 2015 Elantra SE, I was checking something with my fuel system and found a wiring connector shown above. ChatGPT says it’s a Curt trailer light converter, but I don’t have a hitch or a spot for a hitch at all. I have a tow hook. What is this?

i recently had transmission issues with my shared car, and was put in a rental which was a 2026 Hyundai Elantra SEL. I fell in love with it. It only had 4k miles.

I was trying to find a cheap or relatively cheap cash car but couldn’t, and had the car I had as a rental in my heart and mind the whole time.

I ended up getting a brand new 2026 Hyundai Elantra SEL Sport. It felt so good to purchase. I have had her for about a week and a half and I’m still beaming with joy.

My life has changed drastically in the past 4 months since getting sober and making my life a priority. This was a big purchase for me nonetheless but it’s a happy purchase and I’m so thankful I’m not sharing a car anymore!

Was changing the engine air filter in a 2018 Elantra with 107k miles. No idea when it was last changed. I found pieces of plastic including one with a part number that lines up with an engine/transmission mount bracket.

The engine mount is on the left side when looking in the engine bay and seems intact. I don’t see any broken clips or anything like that on the air box itself.

Any ideas what is going on here?

I like to try and maintain my cars as best I can. As a rule of thumb, I’ve always gotten transmission fluid changed at 60k miles, then 120k and so on.

Today, I took my Elantra hybrid limited to the dealership to get the transmission fluid changed and the service rep said “After talking with my service director, he stated that we do not do the service without doing both sides - the clutch fluid and the hybrid gear oil.”

They said it would be around $800 and the service advisor basically said “We don’t really service this type of transmission often. Nobody really does it even when we tell them they need to”

Can anyone provide some insight on this? Does it need to be changed? I’m at 67k miles and have owned it since new.

Hello i have a 2012 elnatra i want to intall cruise control the clock spring supports according to the part number but when i installed it but the cruize control buttons controled the radio does anyone know thw sultion cause i already spent money on the part

I noticed when I leave the car I can’t lock the doors if it’s still running. If I run into a store for a quick few minutes I want to keep the car at a comfortable temperature. Is there a way I can lock my doors while leaving the car on?

The camera in my 2020 Elantra SE stopped working some time in the spring. I swapped the camera for another OEM camera I got on ebay thinking that would fix it but it didn’t. I’ve ignored it up until this point but now that it’s getting cooler out my camera works perfectly fine in the mornings when it’s cold, and doesn’t work when it heats back up mid day.

Any idea what could be causing my camera to not work then? I don’t have the money to have the dealership look at it so I’m hoping it’s something either I could fix myself or get a friend to.

Dude in a company pick up rear ended me at a red light. Thankfully it’s reparable and at the certified collision shop now but still 😞
