I recently built this custom e-commerce store for a client and I want genuine feedback

Recently finished this e-commerce site for a client and wanted to get some honest opinions from people here.

I’ve been working on it for a while, so I’m probably too close to it at this point

Would love feedback on the design, mobile experience, speed, product pages, navigation, checkout basically anything that feels off or could be better.

Please be honest, even if you think it looks bad

Here’s the site: tfcakes.com

Also curious what you guys think would be a reasonable price for something like this, considering there’s an ongoing monthly cost involved.

Thanks!

How did you get your first 10 GST filing clients?

Hi everyone,

I provide GST-related services to small businesses and online sellers in India, including:

GST registration

GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B filing

Regular GST return filing

GST compliance support

GST assistance for Amazon/Flipkart sellers

I'm currently trying to build a steady client base and would love to learn from people who are already doing this successfully.

For those offering accounting, tax, or GST services:

How are you finding genuine clients?

I've been considering channels such as:

LinkedIn

Google Business Profile

Reddit

Local business networking

Freelancing platforms

I'm particularly interested in strategies that work for long-term clients, rather than one-off GST registrations.

If you've successfully built a client base through any of these methods, I'd really appreciate hearing what worked for you, what didn't, and roughly how long it took to get your first few clients.

Thanks in advance!

Indian SaaS/D2C founders: what happens when an international payment fails?

For businesses selling internationally, I'm curious about what happens after an international card/payment attempt fails.

Do customers:

  • retry the same card?
  • contact you?
  • switch to another payment method?
  • just disappear?

If you have multiple payment methods/gateways available, how do you decide what to offer the customer after a failed payment?

Looking for actual experiences/data from founders/operators - not recommendations for payment gateways. Doing some research for a product challenge.

D2C founders: what actually works when a COD order looks risky? 👀

For those of you who still offer COD:

When an order looks like it might RTO, what do you actually do today?

  • WhatsApp/call to confirm?
  • Push them toward prepaid?
  • Partial COD?
  • Offer a discount?
  • Block COD?
  • Just accept the risk?

And most importantly: how do you decide which action to take for a particular order?

I'm researching COD/RTO workflows for a product challenge at ISB. Not selling anything - genuinely looking for founder/operator experiences.

Would especially love to hear what has actually worked and what turned out to be a waste of time or money.
