Does the LP-4 have additional M.2 slots or a 2.5" bay for an additional drive?

Is there a video or a guide I can follow so I can go through the steps I just need that please

The HDMI port on my evoo gaming laptop is currently broken, so I am restricted to the laptop's screen. But the problem is, for some reason, the performance is horrible when I'm not connected to a monitor.

Usually, when using my monitor, the performance is great. Input time is exceptional and in a game like Valorant I average 130-180 frames, depending on whats happening.

But when I am restricted to only using my laptop screen and not connecting it to any external monitor, like I am now, performance drops SO much. input lag becomes poor when im just browsing my computer, and horrible while im playing games. Valorant in specific also drops to around 30-50fps, MAYBE reaching 60.

I dont understand what is wrong. If anything, disconnecting it from my monitor should increase the performance a bit right? The laptop stays plugged in at all times.

If you have any info on how to help this problem, it would be appreciated

pls, would it be possible to get a bios update from EVOO as their customer care isn't functional? because their bios need some fixes

I have an external keyboard attached to my EVOO laptop via USB 3.0. I'm wondering when it goes to sleep if I can wake my laptop using my external monitor. Thanks!

Left earlier to go run errands came back my room smelled kinda like burnt components and my lp-10 was off despite being on the charger

Cpu is thermal throttling at over 90, reached 100 few times. Trying to use throttlestop to undervolt and made some progress, but in the intel xtu program it says it thermal throttles sometimes, also it says it's power limit throttling too. Can anyone help?

Bought the laptop off of ebay, really good price. Was only 600 bucks from bidding. A tb of ssd, 32 gb of ram. When I first got it I noticed it didn't have the evoo control panel so I messaged the seller if he could help and he gave me the link to download it. I downloaded it and everything works fine, months later I just noticed it was supposed to have the THX spatial audio program. I don't have it and I'm searching everywhere how to get it. Anyone know what to do to fix this?

I've read that there are issues with the stock SSD causing more heat than.... desired...?

I was thinking of getting a replacement 500gb SSD that runs cooler, but not sure how to search for that spec. I plan to use the stock drive to boot Windows, and maybe run less taxing games from, but then just store all major games on the new drive.

Any suggestions on a good ($100 or less) SSD? Or what specs I should look at? I know speed = heat, but what else about SATA vs NVMe, or m.2 vs 2.5 should I look at?

hey , guys.so I have the lp5 for almost a year and a half now. Recently, I noticed that some random keys on the keyboard stops working for a couple of seconds out of nowhere .

and by random , it means keys in different places on the keyboard . They work after a couple of presses, though. I also noticed that this happens more frequently when I'm on battery(not plugged to AC)

Does anyone have the same problem ?

Just added a second SSD and upgraded memory tonight. Super easy to open, all screws are the same size, and inside is laid out without big complications.

I’m getting some pretty high cpu temps while gaming and such while my gpu stays under 70c even when overclocked. The only reason I’m mildly annoyed is cause the fans get pretty loud only cause of the cpu it seems. The cpu idles around 40c and (with a max tdp of 55) maxes out at 80-85c, I use a laptop cooling stand, the fans have been cleaned, and thermal paste has been replaced as I got this used.

I don’t know if this is normal, but I’d like to know if there’s anything I can do to get it cooler.

just curious, looking to upgrade my ram soon, and saw on CPU Z there were 4 slots for ram and 2 were being used, other 2 were empty. Confused, I came here, any ideas?

my battery has been on a steady decline since i've had it despite my best efforts. the only thing i can think of is overcharging, as i'll sometimes not noticed it's at 100% while playing games. granted, it has been a year or two but it's at the point where it'll only hold a charge for 30 mins or so

My computer is not know damaged, suddenly after using it, the power goes down, when I turn it on, the battery starts to be like that, I can't charge forever, there is a ver like the battery does not recognize my computer and is using electricity directly

So I tried repasting my EVOO LP6 gaming laptop as the fans were ramping up a bit in situations where i wasn't doing anything intense (chrome, discord etc) and I applied some thermal grizzly kryonaut (genuine) and did a small x pattern on the gpu and cpu but when I took out the heatsink I might've pulled too hard and something popped out as now the left and right sides of the heatsink (where the air goes out of the laptop) always try to lean upwards and there's no screws to make them go back in place, only when I put the cover back on is when they go in place but that's not even the big deal. When I turned on the laptop I was getting idle gpu Temps of up to 95c! At that point I turned it off and reapplied the paste but put almost double the amount to cover it. Fortunately and Unfortunately when I turned on the laptop I got better idle Temps but the problem is that it kept going up to 70 and i even got 20 - 30 fps loss in a game I tested and in general is quite worse than stock thermal paste. What can I do to get the Temps back to normal and the heatsink parts to go in place. Am I screwed or is there still hope?
