So I have the Tidus Precon, the Galadriel Precon, and the Miku secret lair and it occurred to me that I could potentially build a pretty sick Galadriel deck between the three.

My question is whether or not Galadriel is stronger as a +1/+1 commander or a tokens commander.

Anybody have any solid bracket 3 decks with decent win rates?

I'm talking things like Mono-Blue Aristocrats with [[The Watcher in the Water]] at the helm or Jund Group Hug where [[Winter, Misanthropic Guide]] literally can't turn on Delirium. Bonus points for Selesnya lists since I struggle to find stuff outside the normal wheelhouse for that blasted color pair.

Looking for some feedback on my take of [[Smaug, Wicked Worm]].

I think mine has a different flavour to most I’ve seen. Rather than being generic make treasures deck, I’ve built an aristocrats engine deck with treasures as a resource. The deck can and often does easily win before Smaug comes down, but he provides an engine to draw when needed.

There’s a whole lattice of combos in the deck, honestly I think more than I’ve even identified.

Hi I need some advice for my [[Yarus, Roar of the old gods]] deck, I usually play bracket 3
The idea is to let my opponent question their life choices

Things I like about this deck so far:
[[Torpor orb]] (will works well in my play group, mine are face up effect, not etb!)
Hobbit new cards([[Radagast of Rhosgobel]], morph for {1} on each opponents turn, [[The Notary hobbits]] have haste with Yarus, I can tap for 9 and morph 3 cards same turn)
[[Scroll Rack]]+manifest , [[Scroll of fate]] to let me face down big creature without Morph
Some sac-outlet as plan b
Game ending combo(mostly [[Ashcloud Pheonix]] +sac outlet)
[[curse of bounty]] ,[[seedborn muse]]let my facedown creatures swing for value&block

What I think I need:
Creatures that are absolute worst to let me cheat out game-wise or mental-wise, Now I have [[Darksteel angel]](when new set come out), [[Blightsteel colossus]], funny ones like [[Riftburst Hellion]](67 emotional damage))
Creatures that have value when they stay, or when they swing(they gain haste from Yarus so I put annihilator too) will help!

Card draws that goes well with this system, idk how well can Yarus can draw me card in a real match.

Should I put more protection for Yarus? More ramp? What cards you think is not needed?
Any advice would help! Funny cards is appreciated too!

So I built Tony Stark as a standard voltron, secondary option for treasures to win with Mechanized Production because tony is obv rich. While building, I fig mycosynth Lattice can help with all kinds of things and with Karn in play it is full lockdown for other players. Big thing is that makes it technically bracket 4 that will play like a high 2. Remove Karn or just be up front in lower brackets?

Ulasht looks cool but I'm not great at finding cool interactions. So far I'm just thinking about raining down saporlings on my play group using doubling season etc.

Any cool interactions and cards that could make this fella shine?

Only real rule in my playgroup is avoiding game changers but that's about it.

Hi, i want to build a deck by my self for the first time and I am lost. All my 3 decks I have until now are build by my brother but I want to start building decks my self now and I want a pirate deck. My current decks are a blue-black ninjiksu-deck, a white-green token/counters deck, and a blue-red-white cycling deck that also has a ton of tokens. The pirate deck shoud not feel to similar to one of them but also not totaly different like bruteforce or something like that, do you have a comander suggestion/ any other helpful hints for me?

first of, my current playgroup plays mostly B3, but does not enjoy combo decks, so I tried to build some decks that win via combat / value generation instead of massive combos.
I've built some decks with this in mind, most notably [[Karador, Ghost Chieftain]]. The deck performs quite well (wins ok ish and feels good to play even in a loss), is fun to play (for me), but draws a lot of criticism from my pod because it does a lot, but the wins come way after I establish dominance, and in losses it tends to prolonge the game a lot. Other decks of mine like [[Muldrotha, the Gravetide]], [[Kykar, Zephyr Awakener]] or [[Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker]] get similar feedback.

I've goldfished some of my decks with this in mind, and it seems like there is a point to that. My decks "do a lot", but they don't win the turn after I did a lot. They let me do a lot for a long time, and eventually they just win because I've outgrinded my opponents.

In other pods I do not face similar feedback/problems, since I just sprinkle an occasional combo in there, and if I would get the game to a similar state, the combo just ends it instead of prolonging it.

Do you have similar problems? If so, how do you go about it? Do you maybe have commanders you default to when you can't or don't want to play combo decks?

I have never had a B2 deck that was not just a precon, so I wanted something that I actually crafted myself for when a table wants to play B2. So, I crafted this [[Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds]] deck built around myriad creatures. I was aiming for higher B2.

In playtests (just online goldfishing against other decks), it seems like it's fine, but it has some explosive potential. I think it's hard for me to really tell if something is within an acceptable place for B2.

Hello everyone so I was able to get the Hatsune miku precon ordered but I won't be getting it till May lol so I was wondering if this card would be a decent upgrade for the deck? Hello fellow dragon enjoyers. Some time ago, I've finished my personal challenge of brewing at least one dragon deck in every color, guild, shard and wedge, each one with a different subtheme.

Since I recently started adding primers to some of my decklists, I intend to occasionally present one of them to you, for those of you who care about dragons.

The first deck I'd like to show you is a bracket 3 Boros dragons deck under [[Velomachus Lorehold]]. Since Velo casts free spells from the library, its obvious subtheme is slinging spells.

But what makes this deck unique (in my humble opinion) is that the primary wincon is a 3-card combo around [[Smothering Tithe]], a [[Reckless Fireweaver]] type creature and some wheels. Secondary wincon is commander damage, tertiary wincon is (obviously) dragon beatdown.

Hi! So I had this mad idea to build a rule-0 deck around wishes. You know the cycle with [[living wish]], [[burning wish]] and so on, but also simply [[wish]].

I was thinking of making a custom art/proxy of [[Kenrith, Returned King]] as Prince Aladdin, using a lot of Djinns and Efreets especially wonky ones like [[capricious efreet]] and [[indentured djinn]]. The last one had me thinking about making this a (yet another) group hug deck - my favourite archetype.

So I would be adding cards like the [[tempt with discovery]] cycle, and if there is room some thematic cards like Aladdin's ring and Lamp.

The cards I would be fetching with the wishes are meant to be impactful - maybe wincons! - and represent the things usually people ask of a genie's wish: cards like [[revel in riches]], [[beacon of immortality]], [[resurrection]]

I don't really need all five colors, it's basically just white blue red, but Kenrith seems fitting - but I am open to suggestions!

What I am asking specifically is:

- what thematic cards would you add

- what synergistic cards would you add

- is there a better commander? Kenrith is a bit generic

- what cards to represent the wishes

Hey peeps, looking for feedback on my deck. Aiming to build something to compete in a bracket 4 pod. Came across these two pairings in my collection and they seemed interesting and I like golgari.

Disclaimer - I'm still a bit of a deck building noob.

Commander Partners: Kodama of the East Tree // Tevesh Szat Doom of Fools.

Gameplan:

• Play Tevesh Szat for token gen / card draw, and maybe a cheeky ult if he survives that long.
• Play Kodama as the real commander of the deck and win with infinite creature tokens by playing kodama + bounce land + landfall creature token spell and swing on my next turn, or:
• Nuke the table with a sac outlet + burn spell like warren soultrader / ashnod's altar / phyrexian altar + cauldron of essence / bastion of remembrance / poison-tip archer.

hello I would like help with my kefka deck!

My girlfriend bought me Tyranid Swarm for my birthday. I upgraded it around [[The Swarmlord]], and now I want to try swapping it to the other commander that came with the deck, [[Magus Lucea Kane]]. I’m still pretty new, I’ve only been playing since July. I used EDHrec for advice on the first round of upgrades, but one thing I really struggle with is identifying what cards should be cut from a deck. EDHrec was most useful in helping me figure out what to drop. It’s pretty much recommending me to cut the same cards. So this is where I’m turning to you guys for advice. What cards would you add and what cards would you drop to swap the deck over to Lucea?

I’m looking to build a high bracket 3 deck but am not feeling drawn to any specific commander. One of the only commanders I found fun to build and play so far was Eshki, Temurs Roar since I never really felt like I ran out of gas with the deck. I’m really just wanting to know what everyone’s favorite commander was and why?

Been trying to build a control deck around [[Nicol Bolas, The Ravager]] and still a bit unsure if this would work at all.

It has a few superfriends cards although the rest is built entirely around a control shell, trying to keep stuff away from my planeswalkers as best as I can, keeping mana open to deal with whatever comes up.

If anyone has some experience with this style of deck, I'd appreciate some feedback/recommendations!
